Took my car in for brakes pads, to check the front end for noise because i said i had a grinding going on and power steering whine. They call me up, told me i needed rotors too and the noise is all coming for the rotors. So i told them go ahead do it, Well i goto get my car back still making the bad grind have them take it back in the and have it looked at the mechanic ended up saying he pushed the caliper back some and the noise went away. Well he ended up putting my wheel spacer back on wrong and i scratched the undercoat off my wheel well because of it. So i bring it back the mechanic tells me the guy put the spacer back on wrong. So i complained about it guy said theyd have the manager call me and check it out. So he calls me tells me its just power steering and at this point he said he sprayed the spot with some undercoating spray. i complained it wore the inside of my tire, but before i went in to have the new tire put on by them for free i had it on a lift right before then and told them the cv axle boot was tore and to check it for me because i ahd them put it in for me. So i wait for them to check that and put the new tire on and they pull my car out say its done and the boots not tore only spot they see grease is on the tie rod end and show me a picture of it and said he checked it himself. I proceed to ask which boot did he check the outer or the inner. The manager then goes uh let me check with the mechanic after he told me he checked himself. They pull it back in and i watch the mechanic through the window he checks gets covered in grease and then calls the manager over and i watched them "fix" it with some zip ties and then put it back down and say its fixed didnt even apologize for acting like i was lying to him about the boot being torn.

Called to get my tires and they were decently priced, 4 tires and an alignment was not unreasonably priced at all. Reason for the 3 stars is the fact I dropped my car off at 4:10 and it took 3 hours to finish. Also, I keep my car maintained, I keep all receipts for any work done so I know exactly what was done and when, I also keep an eye on my brakes and rotors and know the mileage before they need to at least be checked. I received a call from Mavis stating I needed all new brakes, rear rotors and a brake line flush. 1. I know this isnt the case, verified that when I got my car home and my car was also inspected about a month prior, I asked if anything looked like it needed to be done soon and they stated tires passed but you might want to change them within the next few months (hence me getting them changed well before a few months went by) but brakes and everything else were fine. 2. I stated 3 times I was capable of doing that on my own as I have previously done and did not want the work done. I understand them having to warn someone if you see something for liability issues but being so pushy and trying to convince them for 10 minutes to let them do the work after someone states they dont want the work done is a sure way to ensure the customer doesnt come back.

Avoid at all costs! Ok so i scheduled an appointment for wednesday had the tires ordered to come in since they didnt have it in stock, i show up and one of the tires didnt make it to the store. Now mistakes happen i thought, even though they didnt call, and i rescheduled. So now its saturday i had an appointment at 2pm. i show up and instead of the hour to hour and a half i was told i get told "maybe it will get done by 5pm do you want to come back?" now this is the second time that they dont bother to call i started to say well i will wait, i sat around until 330 and asked again when will it get done its not on the rack, i get told "theres three more cars ahead of you" The guys there dont care about your appointment, you might as walk in and hope theyre not backed up. When i mentioned "i had an appointment for 2pm though" the response was "so did they all".Theres a complete lack of communication when it comes to this location. A phone call in either situation would have worked wonders, because mistakes happen and sometimes jobs run late. Instead I was treated as if it doesnt matter what extra steps i take, my time will be worth less than theirs. TLDR dont go here, too many mistakes in too short a time span.

Bought front tires and rear shocks in november the tires were bald by july. Took it in they advised because i didnt rotate they couldnt replace. No problem. I bought 2 more new tires and got an alignment the guy tried putting the wrong size tires on my car 16s and i have 18s they also advised me the shocks they put on not even a year earlier were bad. A day later my tire sensor comes on and stays on. I take it back and the sales rep advised me so sorry it was a coincidence that the tire sensor went out and i would need to pay another 79$ to have it fixed. I have not had a good experience at all with this company. The prices are competitive. But id rather pay more at a competitor than sacrifice getting the job done right. Extremely disappointed. Will definitely think twice before using mavis tire again. And its time for new back tires i will be shopping around And may pay more if i have to.

The guy that brought my car in the shop jumped on the gas than took off like he was going to a fire. Had the car in the shop for 15 minutes for a front end alignment . Thats not enough time to do one. When I asked for a report they brought in another car right away and told me the printer was out of ink. When I asked to see the report they said another car was in the computer and they couldnt show me anything. When I complained they told me to leave. Last night I told my coworkers about what happened and two of them said they had a bad experience with them. Beware

I made an appointment 5 days in advance for an oil change. When I showed up I was told that I would need to leave the car since there were a few people in front of me. When I asked what the point of appointment was she told me it was because they were short staffed. Meanwhile 4 staff members were smoking outside. I understand stuff happens, but a phone call in advance would have been helpful, and not being spoken to in a rude manner would have been nice. I work in customer service so when the service is not in the best interest of the customer, they lose my business.

This is for Mavis in general. Set up appointment to get 4 tires installed. Rearranged work schedule to drop car off at appointed time. When I arrived, I was informed that the tires were not available until next day. I asked why someone didnt call me and let me know, I was told that the job was set up via the "call center" and not the Matamoras store. The Matamoras store knew I was coming. They had my phone number. They knew they wouldnt have the tires on the day of the appointment. Someone should have called me. I canceled the order.
