I asked for brake pads and rotor change for my car for a specific brand Raybestos and a premium one very clearly by calling twice to them and confirming and then next day when to location and informed Asst Manager who took a note and he said next day morning 8 AM we will order and get it. The next day I call them and confirm on the parts arrival on the Raybestos professional grade(Premium) and the representative said its ready(remember this is the 5th time I am verifying with them on that brand). That day after changing the pads and rotor I get the receipt which says NAPA and when I ask the staff/Asst manager in front desk, he said napa is the parts supplier and Raybestos Premium pads and rotor we have put for you. It was weird for me so I was not sure then I immediately searched in maps and went to the nearest NAPA corporate store where they confirmed that these are NAPA pads and rotors that are put for you and they dont have any association with Raybestos. When I went back to the store they keep saying that you asked for premium pads and we have put premium for you and in addition to that you never mentioned Raybestos which is very insane. They are the perfect LIARS and CHEATED me very badly. You need to always check whatever the changed parts included in your receipts or what you said and hopefully thats what they have put in your car or something else. I had the terrible experience with them going back and forth for 4 times to their office to remove them and get back my old pads which I got changed at another store. And my old part was bad I knew but they damaged that rotors severely which gave terrible sounds when I drove which never came before changing and also I came to know from replaced store, how badly they damaged the rotor. And another incident which I came to know the next day is keep all your belongings with you and not in car when you give them for service. Because they took away the cash/gift card that was placed in the Glove box which was very unprofessional. This I have never experienced in any car service centers in my life. VERY VERY BAD...

Poor - Fair is too generous, this place is below standard. Took one of my summer wheels in to have a nail removed. The guy on the phone calls me to say its ready and that the nail didnt puncture the tire so no work was done. They even took the tire off the rim to check. Get there and the rim has scratches all over it and a few dings. The manager tries telling me they just dipped it in water to test for a leak and the tire wasnt removed. He blatantly lied to me as the scratches, lubricant and new balance weights would suggest otherwise! Tried telling me they deal with Audi/Merc rims all the time, thanks for scratching my nice polished wheels. They must think General Public is stupid. I will be filing a complaint with head office.

I BROUGHT MY CAR TO CHECK A TIRE. I LEFT TO GO TO WORK. AFTER 2 HRS I CALLED TO CHECK ON THE STATUS. THE MAVIS REPRESENTATIVE ASKED ME IF I TOOK THE KEYS WITH ME AND I SAID I DID NOT. HE ACCUSED ME THAT I IN FACT TOOK KEYS WITH ME. I TOLD HIM THIS IS MY ONLY SET OF KEYS YOU NEED TO FIND IT. AFTER 30 MINUTES I RECEIVED A CALL THAT THEY FOUND MY KEYS NEXT TO THE CAR AND ACCUSED ME AGAIN THAT I DROPPED THEM NEXT TO THE CAR. I WOULDN’T HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DROP IT NEXT TO THE CAR BECAUSE UBER PICED ME UP IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING AND AS SOON AS THEY DID, I GAVE THE MAVIS REPRESENTATIVE THE KEY. I AM VERY UPSET WITH THE UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE I RECEIVED AT THIS MAVIS LOCATION.

Im giving 5 stars because of the excellent service, and quality of work that I experienced when I had my brakes, and rotors changed. I stopped by on a Sunday morning received a reasonable quote, (with a coupon discount) went to church, came back and the job was done. Both managers Tristan, and Yandel were very patient with me, and very honest in recommending what I needed. The price was exactly as quoted in the morning, with no up charging. I am extremely satisfied with my experience at the Somerville Mavis and the way I was treated by the managers noted above. I will now become a regular customer of theirs.

Made reservation online for 4 tires. I dropped the car off the night before. Price quoted online was right on target with the final bill. No surprise extras. Car was ready before expected. Same team here as when this facility was a STS tire so the service was good. Tire prices were fair, but there was not any real "discount" at Mavis "Discount" Tire. That said, the tire manufacturer had a $70 mail in rebate so a fair market price, the convenience making the appointment online, and the proximity to my home is what brought me in to Mavis Tire.

My wifes truck had a flat on Saturday night. The two closest shops are Mr. Tire and Mavis. I used to go to Mr. Tire for my tires. I called them and as usual I got the riot act about how he would have to stay late and see if a mechanic is willing. This happens every time I call. I called Mavis. Chris just said to me "come over and we look at it". From phone call to replacing two tires it was 2 1/2 hours and no complaints about having to work. Both Mavis and Mr. Tire have price match so it comes down to the service and they easilly got my business.

Had a grinding metallic noise in the back, so visited the place. Eli found a problem with my back rotors, calipers, and bearings. Total quoted was $800+, and apparently you have to change it on both wheels. Fine. I decided to get a second opinion from a trusty person in Brooklyn. They didnt find anything wrong with any of these parts. The problem turned out to be under tightened wheels. Thanks STS, and thanks Eli. Ill keep my $800. Youre either morons, or highly unprofessional individuals. Never again.

I like this place. I take in my car to get my oil changed, I get all my flats fixed here, breaks done. They give a lifetime warranty on pads, and if you get your tires replace here they give you free tire rotations. They always do a good job with everything. They also never pressure me into buying extra crap, thats how I know when they do tell me something is wrong, that they are not just trying to rip me off, and it actually needs to be fixed.

I I changed my tires there the car now drives worse than when I dropped it off. I also asked for an oil change I got the car back with barely any oil I had to go out and buy/add oil. Chose not to go by there or even look that way its better because there would have definitely been a scene if I had. Highly advise that you never go to this establishment. Sorry want to be establishment. If there were a negative star rating I would give it that.
