Love this market. Andronicos is the only market (that I know of) carries my families favorite ice cream. Its s long drive from Petaluma to San Anselmo, but so worth it. They carry quite a few items I only remember seeing in Italy, so I am very happy I found this jewel of a store. Many thanks to John for ordering my icecream through the distributor. John is extremely friendly, helpful and dependable. Appreciate that! I am very happy to support our local businesses in Marin.

For the third consecutive time that I shopped at Andronicos there were 3 mistakes at the register when I checked out, and all 3 were to my disadvantage. The produce and meat that I bought was incorrectly priced and did not reflect a sale price. Also, they used the wrong code in for sprouts at $2.99 and charged me $6.99 for some type of exotic onion. I will not go back and I advise every customer to carefully check their bill for mistakes. DO NOT TRUST THEIR COMPUTERS!!!

Update: they were bought it by Safeway. The results of which include sacking many employees and turning it into the second Safeway within a mile. Great little market, priced decently, friendly staff. Layout is a bit odd but it seems more an issue with the building itself. Will definitely be making this a semi-regular "walk-to" spot!

Why does this place exist? it seems to me to be the worse of Safeway at Redhill and the old Andronicos. The only benefit is that it carries the giant size ice cream that my husband loves. Not enough of a reason to go back and wait 15 minutes in a long, disorganized line while someone looks for a checker.

Previously Guascos, then Andronicos, now Safeway with more unusual selections than a typical Safeway----like the typical one about 500 yards away at the Red Hill Ctr. If you want different options, this might be the store for you. First right as you get on to Center from the Hub.

Third time out for a turkey and cheese sandwich on WHITE (they list it as a bread on the sign) and they offer up the sliced french bread. Light in color but NOT white bread. The first time I was there, the person behind the counter forgot to make my sandwich. Hmmm. Too new???

Lonely mismanaged place. Says hot bar $5.99 7:30-8:30 but illegal immigrant Spanish only staff always take it away before 7:30. No manager. Cashiers too chatty and slow. Overpriced junk at register. Aholes about a $6 return next day with receipt
