Long lines & a dirty store is what they will find....OMG...friend went put child in basket luckly they saw the used syringe in cart before putting child in.... Safeway headquarters needs to improve this store!!! I have never seen a Safeway so mis managed and behind in appearance and fixtures all across the USA every Safeway Ive shopped is nicer than Clearlake Safeway. I dont feel they appreciate their customers we have to wait forever to pay even when theres more than three in line actually had the cashier tell me three in line isnt their policy any longer yet next trip there they had huge advertising saying three is a crowd. .. yet there were only two checkstands open with more than ten people in each line...I left my groceries and went to another store...my time is valuable, and should be treated as so, I could understand if the filtyness and understaffed trip was a one-time occurrence BUT ITS NOT ITS EVERY TIME I SHOP THERE!!! AND WHY DOESNT CLEARLAKE STORE GET THE OTHER AMENATIES MOST ALL SAFEWAYS OFFER...EXAMPLE BEING LAKEPORT SAFEWAY HAS A NICER STORE MORE DEPARTMENTS etc. THEY ARE BOTH IN THE SAME COUNTY AND CLEARLAKE IS LARGER CITY I BELIEVE yet we dont have a seafood counter, Starbucks, olive bar, self check out plus more we get a dirty store with no checkers empty shelves customer service counter that closes when they choose, and dont get me started on the service especially in the deli.....our money is as good as everyone elses we deserve the same options ...it is a chain... thought they were all the same...until I shopped Clearlake Safeway..... Ok enough ranting. .but come in Safeway headquarters dont you guys inspect your franchises you really should especially after 5 pm .....Wow sorry but its the truth....

I was in the store today, and they had a "Special", 3 - 25 foot rolls of Reynolds aluminum foil for $9.00. You could walk down the street to the dollar store and get each 25 ft roll for $1.00 - that would have been $3.00 for the same amount. The store in general is dirty, the produce is poor quality, and overall you dont feel youre in a quality store. Their Organics" line is poor quality, and questionable, and their in-store brand is always a lesser quality than name brands. Good prices on fresh flowers though and the cashiers tend to be nice.

I Love the Safeway store in Clearlake. It is large enough to carry everything I need, but not big enough to lose the personal touch. The checkers are delightful. The meat and produce are fresh. The store is clean. Parking is close, and there is always help available if I need help finding something or carrying things out to my car. Thank You Clearlake Safeway for doing such a great job.

If this is the Safeway in lakeport ca. Then my experience there was better then most. The store Id always clean good lighting, nice people, fast and efficient service,and easy to navigate isles. Only thing disappointing Id the bathrooms. Single person restrooms. 2 only. I rate 4 starts do to restroom being few.

The produce man helped me pick a good pineapple. The butcher sliced a tri-tip roast for a recipe I was cooking and the bakery Lady made me chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. All this in the same day. Today I didnt use the deli, but I have before and theyre awesome too.

My favorite place to do my grocery shopping because it is always very clean, well organized, has good sales, always fast and friendly staff willing to go the extra mile for you. The fresh flowers are beautiful as well as their colorful fruits and veggies!

For the past year service has declined and lines are ridiculously long to check out. Trust me been here for many years and I wont shop there after today. Ive tried over and over and over. This place is terrible.

Ive been a Safeway Shopper since 1964. The Clearlake store has gone through many changes over the years, but so have I.. Reasonable prices, generally fresh, tasty produce and overall Great service!

Service and item selection is good. They do not do cart round ups enough. Their carts are all over the parking lots of the Burns Valley Shopping Center and surrounding area. They just leave them.

Dont go there on Fridays, unless you go bright and early in the morning. Parking lot is crazy dangerous and not enough checkers at the registers. We went around noon, wont do that again.

Not a good experience. Entrance area is very dirty. Two registers open. Very long lines. Three calls for checkout service until another register was opened up. Not impressed. Sorry
