Ive edited this review multiple times because the store seems to evolve both negatively and positively. Perhaps the management is better than in the past because this store has improved of late. The selection is very good and the prices are almost always excellent. You can find a diamond in the rough during every visit, especially on closeout specials. The vitamin selection is fantastic with unbeatable prices. The store layout has also improved. Its easier to find things now, and the frozen food area is well stocked with better than competitive prices. Nowhere else can one find frozen salmon and shrimp at consistently low prices. If these stores could consistently keep popular brands in stock, they would earn five stars across the board. Instead, when you see a great bargain you need to take advantage of it or itll be gone in a week and it wont return. We all need to make our food dollars go further and shopping Grocery Outlet first will save your family a ton of money.

One of my favorite grocery markets to shop. I avoided the store for years because it appeared run down and I initially assumed that ALL items sold were obscure brands just a day or two from their expiration dates. Boy, was I wrong, most items are fresh name brand items and those that are close to their expiration date are sold at ridiculous discounts. I regularly come across and purchase products that cost two or three times as much at other retail grocery stores. Their goods are always changing which is good because you never know what goodies youre going to find and bad because something that youve come to love may not be there the next time since the store specializes in overstock and discontinued items. Grocery Outlet is a hidden treasure.

Ive gotten a couple of spoiled coffee creamers and a spoiled milk, but they happily take it back and will dispose of it for you. I try to avoid perishables here if I can, but Im always happy grabbing a few boxes of French Toast Crunch for $.97 each. As long as you get dry foods, you can get some great deals. Staff is always very friendly too. Also, not sure how accurate the "deals" are though. I spent $11 the other day buying cereal and a snack, and I "saved" almost $25. Id never have spent $36 on a few boxes of cereal and a six pack oreo snack though, but YMMV. Still cheaper than running to Fred Meyers or even Winco depending on what you need. Alcohol is priced "normally" as well as dairy items. Boxed dry goods seem to have the best deals.

Great store with friendly staff. This Grocery Outlet location is larger than most and seems to have a larger selection. They also have a good selection of gluten free, sugar free and other special diet foods. The prices are great and you cant go wrong here. The only con that I can add is that there seems to be quite a few homeless people hanging around outside. The management should encourage them to move on to another location instead of right outside the front doors near the shopping carts. Other than that this is the best Grocery Outlet I have been too and I have visited nearly all of them in Oregon.

I consider this place Salems little gem. Shop here regularly. Beer and wine selection better than most. One thing I have noticed is the beer prices - while cheaper than other places in the past - are right on with them now. So they do have some good prices, but few are bargains in the beer selection anymore. A good place to look for some food bargains though.

All the joys and wonders of a canned food warehouse. Whatll it be this time? .99 Spam? Or a trio of Spanish cheeses? Good prices on random treasures with enough staples sprinkled in to be able to do normal, daily shopping all in one spot.

I got some great things from there like my jacket, slippers, pillow and blanket from the movie frozen for a Christmas present for my granddaughter. Also they have decent food prices as well but not not a lot of choices to choose from

I always love going to grocery outet for my fruits and vegtables. Naked drinks and Odwallas are cheaper than traditional grocery stores. My favorite part is hearing how much I saved!!!! (I usually save as much as I spend)

Surprise find of the month! Who knew that they had so much, for so little. I WILL be back. The only downside was the dilapidated buildings around, and some trash laying around their property.
