Bought a recliner from here on a Saturday, and made an Apt to pick it up the next Sat. Called on Friday to make sure that it was there, and they said "sure its here you can come pick it up". I rented a truck to come get the chair and When I got there I spoke with Rob, the manager. He told me that there was a delivery mix up and the chair was not there. He offered to refund me $25 but the chair was a gift from my sister and i did not have her credit card. Rob told me that he would re-order the chair and it would be here next week. Meanwhile my sister called to complain about the situation and asked to speak with the general manager, She was told he would call her back (which never happened). I called the next week to find out if my chair was in, and Rob informed me that he never ordered the chair because my sister said she wanted to speak with the general manager (<---makes no sense). When I asked Rob "whos name is on the order?" He replied "Im Not Playin that Game" and hung up. Now I realize that Rob probably hates his life and has a crappy job, but people like that make the whole organization look bad. This is very typical of a St. Ann store though, Managers with no business education. I would recommend going to Weekends only right across the street. They are way more friendly and professional.

I really do wish I would have read these reviews before buying my brand new sectional from them......and its BROKE already without us even sitting on it.......we havent had this furniture for not even a MONTH and its broke...we dont have children etc...I called value city furniture....and instead of just sending a new one..being tht we are still under warranty...I have to wait until December 3rd.....to have someone come look at my broken couch to declare whts wrong with it........just to fix a broken couch.....tht will probably break again.....when it could all be so simple and send a new one.....I paid for my furniture cash...no payments no nothing......only to regret spending my money with them.....and ED....their store manager....had a HORRIBLE ATTITUDE.....HORRIBLE STORE.....everyday I walk into my living room I get more and more pissed........

Very very low quality furniture Ive had the furniture a year and one month with a lifetime warranty & Ive already had to replace it 4xs now here on the fourth time of the table and chairs being replaced by the company theyre now telling me that they can only replace two chairs rather than all four chairs I guess theyre tired of replacing their low quality furniture in all honesty Im tired of it being replaced Id rather give up the headache of constantly taking my furniture back to the store and waiting a week for them to ship me new furniture and just get rid of the furniture all together I will never shop at this place for furniture again

The salesperson, an older lady, promised that the item I was looking at required minimum assembly. I expressed that I didnt want it if it did, and her words were I promise it not much to put together. LIAR!!! I was in the process of moving and it took me a few days to pick it up form the store. Once I did, the item came in several boxes. Because of their 7 day return policy I was stuck with it. Now I have it in my home, still in boxes, trying to get it put together. The salespeople will tell you anything, even lie to make a commission.

When I purchased my dining room furniture back in 2013 from the Lindbergh store in Saint Louis Missouri, the Customer service was Exceptional;The Merchandise it GARBAGE. I wouldnt even let my outside dog/ WORSE ENEMY EAT OR SLEEP with any of their merchandise. Ive given this company chance after chance to prove that they are worthy of my hard earned money. The little cheap $60 dressers a WASTE OF MONEY. The last straw was the dining room table im sure that Ive called them to fix every 30 DAYS SINCE 2013.

I went to this store and I was in there for about 20 minutes walked pass 4 associates and not ONE of them greeted me. I even had at least two of them walk pass me and greeted someone else like I was not there. They were definitely prejudging a customers pockets by their appearance. guess a young person who just got off of work isnt worth your time. Smh

I accompanied my 83 year young mother to purchase a rocker recliner. She was never rushed or encouraged to buy more. The salesman was understanding and helpful. He was patient and never overlooked her as the buyer despite the fact that she clearly needed the help of her adult daughters with providing her information.

We purchased a bedroom set for my son and have had a lot of problems with the drawer rails. I found out this last time that the set was no longer under warranty, however, Value City still sent someone out to fix the problem. Thank you for the great customer service.

A lot of the furniture is gaudy. Theres 3-4 furniture places in a square mile and I go each time and I have never seen something I liked enough to pay the price. Always ended up going to Weekends Only or Rothman which are across the street.

My furniture was damaged before?/during? delivery. Assembled horribly incorrectly, delivery guys had to use MY power drill to assemble it all before losing screws, and drilling straight through the wood.
