I have had multiple terrible experiences with this PetSmart. The employees have no idea what the policies and procedures are, the prices never match the computer, and most of all the managers have no customer satisfaction skills. They do not accomodate the customer and do not care for their business. I was told by a cashier I could return an item, when the manager came to approve it she denied me the right to return the item. The employee had no clue she was wrong (very unprofessional on both ends). When I said I was not looking for cash back I actually wanted a smaller size cage that was not on the shelf, the manager said she was unloading the truck currently and I could come back later to get it. We followed up multiple times and when I got off work I went there to return the cage for a second time. Yet again after 6 hours the manager did not have the cage pulled aside and in fact was going to hold the wrong cage for us. When we mentioned PETCO had the cage and so did the other PetSmart (much further away) the manager did not care if she lost the business and had no sympathy for the run around we had gotten all day. There have been multiple times this store did not allow me to return things when I am a regular customer whos business can be counted on. Please better train your managers and employees to have more respect and pride in their job because the other PetSmart stores are many steps ahead of yours.

No good tuve k entregar a mi perra al shelter por ellos no le kicieron dar la atencion k mi perra necesitaba y el medicamento k era necesario mi perra era bien hiperactiva y hasta tenia aseguransa de la misma tienda pero perecia k hasta le molestava ala del front desk la pesencia de mi perra o mia por k se portaba bien cortante y contestaba groseramente Y nunka tenian tiempo y las ultimas 3 veses k fui me kiso mandar a otra tienda k buskara a otro veterinario

was in the store today looking to purchase some fish. i saw a fish i liked i have been in the aquarium hobbie for years and have several tanks and have purchased several fish form this store in the past. on this particular day the fish i was looking to purchase was a Texas chiclid usually an $8.49 fish. the tank the fish was in was marked as a red texas chiclid for $29.99 clearly the fish was not a red texas chiclid. when i asked about the pricing on it i was told by the girl that they agreed with me that it was not a red texas chiclid but a texas chiclid but they still had to sell it for 29.99. long story short they are selling a fish they know is not what it says it is for more then what that fish would normally cost very upset about this. if this product was a much larger cost this would be considered false advertisement

Our puppy has attended puppy training at PetSmart for two 8 week sessions. Michelle has been wonderful, and has helped my 3 kids understand what it means to be a pet owner. She is very patient with the kids and the animals, and they often seek her out in the store when we are just in for a shopping trip. They are very flexible it you need to miss a class, and very observant of the different temperments of dogs to ensure their safety. Our puppy got injured whlie playing with another dog, not an agressive act, just an accident, and they were very attentive to her. The vet saw her there for free, she had no injuries, and returned to class just as excited the following week.

My 10 year old son recently lost the 2nd of 2 hamsters we purchased from the Downingtown PetSmart. The first one died of seizures, the second from a mass in his abdomen. We had the first for one day, the second for 2 1/2 months. My son is devastated. I dont know what kind of breeder they are using for their small mammals but I will never shop there again for any reason. I started buying my dog food and bird seed at Pickering Valley Feed and Farm, a small business that I would much rather patronize than a giant chain that clearly doesnt care about animals. I would give them zero stars if I could.

If looking for a possible career or have any particular questions regarding the Downingtown/Exton Petsmart, do not speak to Sandy (the hiring manager). She is incredibly unhelpful and lies to potential employees about job requirements merely because she does not feel like dealing with them. This is not a person Petsmart should allow to represent one of their stores and I am highly disappointed.

I drove about a half hour to get my cats nails trimmed. Their website says its a walk in service but they told me they wont do it on weekends because "we have way too many dogs" in their words, and to come back tomorrow. I wont be coming back tomorrow, or ever. Hope this helps you guys.

We initially used Petsmart for the grooming salon but now we buy all of our pet supplies there too. The salon always does a fantastic job but theyre often booked way in advance and its a bit expensive.

We use Jenny at this petsmart for grooming for my cocker spaniel. She does a wonderful job grooming him but more importantly, she really loves animals. He comes home looking great and totally relaxed!
