Made an appointment for a consultation for flowers for my wedding, and while making the appointment they told me to bring pictures and ideas, but said nothing about payments. The staff member I worked with was nice and had a lot of pictures of his previous work and his work was truly beautiful! After the consultation ended I was told that I needed to pay a $50 deposit for the written proposal, a fee that I was not expecting. I explained that before I made a deposit that I wanted to discuss everything over with my family and he said that was fine but I still had to pay the $50 dollars for a written proposal (a.k.a. an estimate) I paid the $50 dollars but didnt feel it was right because they never mentioned this fee to me when I made the appointment, and although he may of had to finish everything up later, I didnt leave the store with an estimate in my hand. I have had consultations at many places so far, and Ive have never been charged any fee for an estimate. It just would have been nice to have a heads up about this hidden fee. I called back that evening and explained that I didnt feel it was fair that I had to pay a deposit for an estimate that I didnt have yet, had not committed to, had not signed a contract for, and had not expected. Probably would have felt the same way if I had known before hand, but at least I would have gone into the appointment knowing that i would have to pay a fee. I asked for a refund and he told me that they would have to send me a check in the mail (which was also kind of strange and inconvenient) He didnt say anything unprofessional but did sound angry, offended, and kind of got a rude attitude. He informed me I wouldnt get the proposal if I got a refund, which is understandable if that is their policy, but they should let people know before. Overall the staff was pretty nice, his work looked great, but beware that there IS a $50 fee just to get a paper estimate.

I used the Carmel location for my outdoor wedding and reception. All I can say was that Alan was amazing. I left the flower creations up to him and didnt see anything till the day of the wedding. EVERYONE gave raving compliments on the flowers. I was nearly floored when I saw how beautiful the reception hall was with the flower centerpieces. The reception hall did not need any other decorations besides linens, sashes and flowers. Well worth the money to have wedding flowers done here. They did all the delivery and setup.

I recently had a very poor service experience with McNamara Carmel and posted here on Facebook about it. McNamaras CEO personally took the time to respond and resolved the issue (WOW). Thanks again for the quick response and phone call to resolve this issue. I am happy to see that McNamaras leader took time to personally resolve this issue when the easy thing would have been to disregard and move on. That integrity and personal service approach is I am sure why McNamara is successful! Very Impressive! Thanks again!

I ordered flowers for my grandparents over the phone. I didnt really know what to expect ordering sight unseen. I could not have been more pleased though. From the 2 hour turn around from order to delivery, it resulted in the "most beautiful bouquet ever." At least thats what I heard from all of my family members!!

We got a bouquet as a gift after the passing of my MIL. I cant stop looking at them. They are the prettiest boquet of flowers! Wish I had used them for my wedding. Highly reccomend!
