Have you ever special ordered a couch and had the wrong couch delivered? Well, unfortunately, I did! I had explained to our sales lady that because I was short (51), I wanted a couch that would be comfortable for me; meaning with my back resting, not slouching, against the back of the couch and my feet resting comfortably on the floor. Our sales lady, Marsha, understood what I wanted and showed me a number of couches that would fit my specifications. I sat in them all to make sure they would fit me. Finally I sat on a couch that was really comfortable, only I didnt care for the color of the fabric. Marsha showed me some fabrics that could be special ordered for "my couch." I chose a beautiful shade of deep turquoise blue that felt like velvet, a fabric that wouldnt bother my neuropathy. Six weeks later, the couch was delivered. The fabric was beautiful, and I was delighted. However, when I sat in it, I felt heartbroken. It wasnt made for a short person, something I had been very specific about. I called the Lastick Furniture Company in Pottstown, PA and told them about the problem. Then my husband took some pictures of me sitting on the couch, and we went to show the pictures to Marsha. Instead of being the friendly lady we had dealt with earlier, Marsha played hardball with us claiming it was the same couch at the store we had ordered, except for the fabric. When I sat on the demonstration couch at the store, it fit me comfortably, even as six weeks earlier. Nevertheless, Marsha claimed she could never sell a couch of the color I had chosen, even though it is so beautiful. That is hard to believe. Mostly grays, tans, and browns were the colors she claimed their customers preferred. I personally think these colors are deplorable and would add no beauty to my home. My husband and I had earlier bought a reclining love seat at another company, and I made the mistake of choosing one that was too large for me. That is, my feet dont reach the floor when I sit back in it. I never use this love seat, although I had pictured it as a special place for my husband and myself to enjoy each others company during our retirement years. After that experience, I wanted to be extra careful about choosing another piece of furniture. Whats more is the new couch from Lastick Furniture Company is so stiff my husband doesnt even enjoy it, as he used to take naps on our older couch, but this one is "hard as a rock." So, l deeply regret this purchase. This is far from what we desired. I have tried to work with Lastick Furniture Company, but they have not been accommodating. I dont like to be a negative complaining person, but our doing business with Lastick Furniture Company has been a major disappointment. Warning: If you order a special piece of furniture at Lastick Furniture Company and it doesnt fit your specifications when its delivered, youre stuck with it-and heartbroken!

Ordered furniture at the end of May. No one called the right number to schedule a delivery. I finally called and they scheduled a date. Then they called my work number in the evening (when Im NOT at work) to tell me my delivery time (10am-noon). Its now 12:30pm and still no delivery. I called at 10 am and no one said they are running behind. Called again at noon and I was treated no better by the manager/owner. Its not worth supporting a small business for the inconvenience it causes. They only deliver to my area on Wednesdays! Moral of the story-3 weeks later I still dont have my furniture. Its a shame. Update: Furniture delivery guys came at 12:48 PM and stayed til 2pm-the 10am-12pm window was totally ignored. They were very nice and courteous. Better than the horror of dealing with the owner and sales person at Lastick. One of the beds didnt come with slats. The mattress with box spring rises up ABOVE the headboard and footboard. It looks ridiculous. If someone there had told me when I purchased it that I needed to also buy slats I would have. The other bed came with slats. I dont undrestand why this one didnt and why no one told me it didnt. When I called they told me it was my fault for not knowing. Seriously??? I said I have a mattress with box spring. If someone would have told me the box spring wont work with the furniture then I wouldve purchased slats! No one at Lastick takes responsibility for anything when things go wrong. After they have your money they are done with you.

I never write online reviews, but we had such a fantastic experience from start to finish with Lastick that I felt I owed it to them to take a minute to write one. I had a very specific idea in mind for a sectional, and Janice walked us through the features of various styles before we found one that was perfect. The selection was awesome - you’d never know looking at the building exterior how much floor space there is, but they have a ton of styles to look at. We’d been to five or six places and were starting to give up hope that what we wanted was out there! Marsha Lastick worked with us on pricing, and gave us a great deal on the floor model. We were really happy with our purchase. Then we got home and realized we had forgotten our stroller in the store - pretty annoying, since we live 45 minutes from the store. When I called the next morning to make sure they had it, Jerry offered to drop the stroller off at our home personally!! This is a business that clearly believes in going above and beyond for their customers. That really blew me away. Sure enough, he dropped it off the next morning at my doorstep. Wow. Delivery came on time, in under a week, within the window that was promised. The guys who did the delivery were quick and courteous. The sectional is beautiful and will get daily use in our house. Overall, we are so pleased with our experience and Lastick will be the first place we visit for future furniture purchases. Do yourself a favor and go!

More than twenty years ago, we went to Lasticks and had a wonderful shopping experience with Eli Lastick. We picked out carpeting for our bedroom, and carpeting and furniture for our family room. It was an easy and pleasant experience shopping there. We not only loved what we purchased, but we got the quality we were looking for! In February of this year we returned to Lasticks. We went initially to just "look" for new carpeting and furniture for that same family room. Once again we had a wonderful experience. This time we worked with Elis daughter, Marsha, employee Linda and son-in-law, Martin. There is a family atmosphere in their establishment that makes it easier to shop. With their professional help, we picked out a sofa, two chairs and carpeting. The carpeting installation was fast and professionally done, and the furniture arrived on time. I cant say enough about the quality of their merchandise and service, and we will certainly go back again. If you are looking for new furniture or new flooring of any kind, do yourself a favor and visit them!
