Purchased my first road bike from here almost one year ago to the date. That experience was awesome... the staff was knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and responsive, and I never felt any sales pressure or any sense that brought out the fact that I was very novice and uninformed when it came to my early understanding of road bikes. The fit specialist with whom I worked was very helpful as well, and he spent a good amount of time and effort with me in getting the bike set up perfectly for me. Ive put over 3,500 miles during the past year on this bike and love it even more than the day I bought it. After much research, several different stores, and many test rides on several great bikes, the bike I went with was a fantastic decision, and the expertise and help I received at Plano Cycling and Fitness had a lot to do with it. Since then, the staff members there have continued to offer excellent customer service... the kind that you dont normally experience these days. I couldnt say enough positive things about this store, and Dallas is lucky to have a decent selection of bike stores. Plano Cycling and Fitness is the best, in my opinion. Thanks to Tim, Greg, Aaron, and the rest of your excellent staff!

These people truly care. The day after I made a complaint, I was contacted by Michael, their social networking and internet media guy, who assured me it was not a typical experience and that Rick would be concerned to know about the incident. Less than a week later, Rick contacted me and genuinely cared about my experience and spent 30mins just talking about it and my concerns. In the end, I feel MOST people want to feel like they and their business matters, which Rick seems to realize and emphasize. When was the last time a business actually contacted you and cared about your negative experience? Customer service is a dying art. Great recovery and looking forward to giving them another chance.

I just called to see if they could tell me what kind of chain i needed for my bike, but the guy on the phone "wouldnt tell me because they didnt want to give away their knowledge". I just wanted to know so i could buy it from them off of their website. Guy on the phone was very cocky and rude. Not a good way to get new business in my opinion but its ok, they can keep their "knowledge". They sound like a sham to me anyway. In short go somewhere else for your bike needs. They obviously dont care about the customer. They seem to only care about making money and giving away their precious "knowledge".

I went in to browse for a specific tool. Well, I found a specific "tool." It ended up being one of the many guys fumbling around on a entry level road bikes in the service department. Wow! the actual tool was way too expensive and needed to ordered it. i ran by one last place and sure enough; the other bike stop had it. I really have to mention; I got guilty pleasure watching this mechanic speak to a person who is new to riding and what a piece of work. The lady, new cyclist was just soaking it up. Ill give two stars because the shop looks awesome!

Absolutely the best! Although I bought my bike online since PCF did not carry electric fat tire bikes, they assembled it expertly and then repaired a manufacturer defect. Aaron was always helpful, patient and quick. The price was more than fair. The rest of the staff is friendly and never pushy. While my bike was being repaired, we looked around the shop for a fat tire e-bike for my son. The helpful sales person recommended another bike store around the corner. Great! Great! Great! Thank you Aaron! Thank you PCF!

Went looking for a mountain bike or similar to replace an 18 year old Cannondale. Saw good review on these guys, that they carried Cannondale and went to look. They helped with the choice, and framed it with why that compared to more or less expensive bikes. Set it up, helped with accessories and got me out the door in record time. Even fixed a small electronics problem I had the day after. Love the bike so far!! I appreciate the environment, the prices and the people and service. Highly recommended for consideration.

I always prefer this family owned shop to all others. Service is personalized and geared towards your needs. I never feel like a name and number when I come here. The owner, Rick is usually in the store meeting and greeting customers and helping out right along side his employees. Selection is good, prices are what you would expect to pay and the occasional sale knocks down the price even more. Online shopping allows you to order something not in stock and pick up in the store later. Great place.

I dont normally write reviews, but my bike purchasing experience with these guys was too amazing to not say anything. If you are looking to buy a new bike this is the place to go. No pressure, extremely helpful and knowledgable staff, and a great product line make this the premier place to purchase a new bike in my opinion. While I was shopping I was helped by Tim, Kyle, Shawn, and Kim, and these guys know their stuff and are a pleasure to work with. Thanks guys for the top notch service!

i rented a bike from Plano Cycling and brought it up to my work because i was riding the next moning early. I found out that the back brake was locking up. I called the shop and told them the problem and couldnt get it fixed on the phone and I had to work until 9pm. One of your employees, Greg, told me to hold tight and he would pick it up, take it to the service dept, and bring it back to me. Now thats service! Thanks Greg!

Every time I go there, the employees are nothing but professionals! quick service, not pushy, very helpful. I taken my bike in for service and they will do anything they can to fix you on the spot! I really appreciate when the service guys take the time to look at the problem and fix it on the spot if they can. highly recommended shop, if customer service is your thing, give these guys a chance and you will be happily surprised!

I took a vintage road bike to Plano Cycle and Fitness for service and they made a few mistakes, but once i talked to the service manager about the mistakes, he not only corrected the mistakes but completely exceeded my expectations in correcting the mistakes and making it all right. Such a great experience at Plano Cycling, you can see from the ratings that this store truly is great with customers. I took my girlfriend in to get sized for a bike, and Sherman help us out so much! He got us the bikes within our budget, and explained whatever we asked. He was so helpful, and all the other employees were also so very nice. I would absolutely recommend this store to anybody looking at bikes.
