If you like being chased around the store and listening to long-winded personal stories of employees past, this is the place for you. If there is one thing that drives me nuts, its when sales representatives follow me around a store. Im there to shop and I want to do it at my own pace so that I can come up with my own calculated decision if I want to purchase a product. What happened in my experience at P.C. Richard & Son in Moorestown was so beyond ridiculous that I will NEVER go back. I showed up on a Saturday to look at kitchen appliances, as Im in the process of buying a home. All I wanted to do, was price out the cost between competitors HH Gregg, P.C. Richard & Best Buy. I was not there to actually buy anything that day. Just wanted to scope out my options and see how much money I needed to allocate to appliances. If I was interested I was going to come back in a couple weeks and buy them... Saturday, 6/25/16, I arrived and was greeted by a sales representative(Dan) and asked what I was shopping for today. Great, I have no qualms about friendly banter when I enter a store. But, I dont need to be ushered around as if Im blind and cant see where the appliances and where the tvs are.. I also dont need to listen about sales representatives opinions of other stores. I dont care if they were a general manager over at HH Gregg. I dont care about your opinion of the people over there or how they conduct their business. Im here to price out appliances, now get out of my way and let me do that. When I find something Im interested in or have questions on, I will go get you. I have no idea why, but when I decided I was done looking at the appliances, my girlfriend and I say goodbye to the pestering sales rep. He goes over to the manager, says something, and then the manager comes in a full on 50 yard dash-like sprint from across the store to stop us and pester us with some non-sense about how theyre a family run business and we wont be able to find a cheaper price anywhere else. Shut the heck up and let me leave the fing store.

Dan Weaver was the guy who turned me around on PC Richards. My husband and I walked in almost a year ago when it was time to buy our appliances for our kitchen we were getting ready to rennovate...an older white haired man approached us but seemed like we were bothering him and he just walked away? The second time I walked in was a few months ago because we had received a giftcard and we needed a good vacuum. I had to seek assistance and was marginally assisted but again the guy walked away... I was really annoyed and if I did not have the giftcard would have never returned. I went back one last time, having done some basic back ground on Vacuums and then met Dan Weaver. Dan approached me within minutes, spent significant time sharing a plethora of information about every vacuum they had. He was not only knowledgeable, but had a delightful personality that was upbeat and professional. He genuinely seemed to care that I made the best purchase for my needs and was a big supporter of the family owned company. He assured me that my two previous experiences at PCR was not typical and that the family really cares about the buyer experience. I purchased the Miele upright bag vacuum... and I have to say, it is incredible. It slowly gears up and once you engage the rotary head, the motion is as light as a feather. I was told to come home with the BEST vacuum I could buy (from my husband who was tired of the three exisiting vacuums we already had and had only purchased within the last 2 years but performed so poorly). I feel confident that the Miele is the best I could buy at PCR and am very happy with it!

This place is terrible. First of all they dont post negative reviews on their products and services on their website. I guess they want to make sure it appears that everyone who shops at the store is seems happy. I bought a Viper remote start from the for my 2006 Subaru Legacy. I paid extra for the extra bypasses as they told me I needed them. I get to the store to pick up my car and the first thing the installer tells me is that I cant use the door lock/unlock switch. A little weird I thought. Now my factory alarm goes off when I use my factory lock/unlock door switch. Then when I try the remote, the trunk release doesnt work. My factory remote had a trunk release so why didnt he hook up this one? I asked him about it and he said I needed a 5 wire relay. So he didnt bother to call me to tell me I needed a $4 relay(I got on amazon). I guess he was to lazy to hook it up. Decided Im not going to waste another 45 minute trip one way and having to drop my car off again. I then go there 2 months later and speak to someone there about buying a remote start for a Christmas present for my father. They tell me that they can install it and I need nothing extra. I buy it and wrap it up and give to my father as a present. After Christmas I schedule an appointment. I call and they tell me that it cant be installed and the installer on the phone says "it would be like $3000". So now I was embarrassed having to tell my father I bought him a gift he couldnt use. This place is a waste of time.

Our vacuum cleaner broke a plastic part broke off. We only had it 5 months. Took it in for service. It came back from service but they did something totally different from what we asked for to be fixed plus they tried to change us an additional $30 service charge. We sent it back to service for a second time and told them no way were we paying for any service at this point. We never heard back from service. Finally after 3 months we get a message they couldnt fix it threw it away and credit us to pick out a new one in the store. Not knowing if I would ever get my vacuum cleaner back we went ahead and purchased a GOOD QUALITY working vacuum cleaner from a reputable company! Stony Brook vacuum cleaner company we highly recommend them. PC Richard insisted on giving us another vacuum instead of a full refund for the one they couldnt fix after 2 times and just tossed away on us without asking. They lost our business for good.

Went to this store today to buy The Canon Rebel t3i for $449.00 as advertised in the stores sales ad. When I went to check out I was informed that the sale price was incorrect. The store manager said PC Richard discovered the mistake yesterday. I pointed out there was no posting anywhere in the store stating the advertised price was wrong. The manager tried to sell me the Canon t3 in place of the t3i saying they are human and make mistakes. when I pressed he should honor the advertised price he said he would sell me the Canon t3i for $499.00 splitting the difference of 100.00. They began checking me out and again switched the merchandise to a less quality. If you are buying anything from this store BUYER BEWARE!!! As for me I will be in touch with the NJ Attorney General Office in the morning! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!
