I cant speak to many of the past reviews, perhaps the service here was poor at one point, but I can say that my visit there today was great. I met the manager who is new to this location, and was extremely helpful. The other person in the store was a sales rep who was very friendly, knowledgeable and not high pressure in the slightest. There are some past reviews I can speak to, however. As far as the size and selection goes it was actually better than any Red Wing or other specialty boot store Ive been too. This is not Payless shoes people! This is a specialty store for a specific kind of footwear. The store does not smell bad, it smells of leather and perhaps a bit of neatsfoot or mink oil, just as one might expect in a store that sells boots predominately made of leather and not cheap synthetics. I am not sure about their return policy, but I know when they sized me (electronically) the computer returned a range of three different sizes. I tried on the boots I wanted in the middle of that range and they fit perfectly. If someone decides to take it upon themselves to buy boots outside of that size range and then wear them so that they can not be resold I would consider it a mark of great generosity for any store to offer a refund and certainly not an obligation. Dont be afraid of this store because of past reviews. If there were service problems they have been rectified, the other "issues" mentioned in reviews are simply ridiculous. Not to mention the boots are simply the best!

Last time I ever go to or buy worx, work boots. This red wing location is a joke. They dont warranty there boots or shoes the way there supposed to... I was under the impression that if it carried the red wing name it carried the same warranty. 1yr from date of purchase Im eight months in warrantied them once already. Today I came back for the same reason with the boots that I warrantied them the first time. The manager told me it only has a six month warranty. And I cant warranty these..POS for boots!!! The worx boots suck dont buy them unless you like your boots qwaking like a couple of ducks all day when your walking around .. 200$ for this kind of treatment. Very rude and dishonest. DONT BUY FROM THIS STORE!!!!! They ly... West Valley City, Utah, 84120. 3380 w. 3500s. If your going to run a franchise. Run it with honesty, and treat your money, Customers.. (With the customer is always wright way) And you will probably keep more people coming back as a repeat customer.. Instead of losing them for ever. Well you did today. POS!!! For a manager anyways..

DO NOT BUY REDWIMG SHOES THEY ARE EXTREMELY SHADY AND DO NOT WARRANTY THEIR SHOES!!!! I PURCHASED A PAIR OF WORX BOOTS IN NOV OF 2016 AND BY THE END OF FEB 2017 THE SHOE HAD CRACKED ON THE SIDES AND SPLIT OPEN, SHORTLY THEREAFTER RIPPING DOWN THE SIDE. I TALKED TO REDWING TODAY AND THEY TOLD ME THAT IT "LOOKS" LIKE SOMETHING HAD CAUGHT THE SIDE OF THE SHOE SO NECAUSE OF THAT IT WAS NOT COVERED BY THEIR 6 MONTH WARRANTY. I THEN PROCEEDED TO SHOW THE EMPLOYEE WHERE IT HAD STARTED DOING THE SAME THING ON THE OTHER SIDE, BUT WAS NOT AS FAR PROGRESSED. THE EMPLOYEES THEN WITH A PATHETIC AND PANICKED FACE HE SHOWED HIS MANAGER THE SHOE WHO SHOOK HIS HEAD AND SAID WE DONT COVER THAT... I HAVE ONLY HAD THE SHOES FOR JUST BARELY OVER 4 MONTHS WHICH IF MY MATH IS CORRECT IS WITHIN THE 6 MONTH WARRANTY. THANKS FOR THE DESPICABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE MOST EXPENSIVE PAIR OF GARBAGE SHOES I HAVE EVER WASTED MONEY ON.... AGAIN TO ANYONE WHO READ THIS DO NOT BUY REDWING SHOES ESPECIALLY FROM THE WEST VALLEY STORE. YOU ARE A DISGRACE REDWING!!!!

They didnt seem very interested in selling me what I wanted even though I was ready to drop $200-$300 for a pair of boots. Considering there isent a single pair under $100 in the store you would think they would know their product and treat customers like a specialty shop. Man in the shop was fairly helpful but even after I told him exactly what I was looking for he wasent too much help. The woman working is what killed the experiance any is the reason I will not return. She did not know anything about the boots. Dosent know what a 6 or 8 inch boot is, dosent know about different safety toes or other safety ratings. Even if it as a chill or part time job I atleast expect you to act like you are aware that you are working in a specialty boot store. Go down to Orem or another location, it would be worth it.

One star is too much. The manager, Will sold my daughter a pair of safety boots that did not fit. There were only 3 choices in her size, and she took the best one. She told him her shoe size, and he brought the 3 pairs out. After wearing them lightly for a day or two, she returned them hoping for a refund as she got horrible blisters from being too big. The salesman, who was apparently the manager, was extremely rude. When my daughter said he never measured her foot, he said he did and she was basically a liar. Would not give her money back, even though Red Wing’s corporate office said it is entirely possible, but up to individual stores to provide refunds. DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS STORE. GO TO THE ONE IN MURRAY, ABOUT 60TH SOUTH STATE.

Ive been buying Red Wing shoes for years and in the last 5 years the staff at this location has been nothing short of rude. I wore out my pair currently and want to replace them. When I placed my order at this location the price seamed high so I called another location where I got my current ones. There price for the same products (shoes and toe guard) is 17% lower. When I asked the manager if he could work with the price he refused my business, refunded my money and was very short with me. I feel the staff here is not concerned with performance of the products only about the sale of them. I will never shop at this location or any other location affiliated with this staff. I had a collapsed arch in my right foot and had spent tons of money trying to find something that would help to no avail. Finally I talked my self into buying a pair of red wings and after a month of wearing my Irish Settlers there was no longer any pain in my foot at all. However they had started to leak...this was a problem because I needed them as waterproof boots so I took them back and Will told me that I was using the wrong oil on them, replaced them and told me how to prevent the problem in the future! I was very impressed with the staff and the boots are the most comfortable thing Ive ever put on my feet!

I am very disappointed in this store, I bought a boot smaller than they sized me for and would not let me return it even though it was rubbing and bothering my toe, the manager named Will said I couldnt return the boot because I picked out my own size!!! I spent $250 for it to rub my toe raw, so now I am out that money! Really bad experience here! If I knew they had a junk return policy, i would not have shopped here!
