This place is terrific! On more than one occasion I have received tremendous service and help. Once one of auto zones finest came out to my car and helped me glue my rear view mirror back on. He didnt have to do that...he had "made the sale" and could move on.... Right now we are in the middle of the big DC Blizzard.....with a snowblower that just stopped working....and who would have thought there was any chance Auto Zone would be open? Not a business from Oakton to Fairfax was open....but employees at AZ spent the night near by so they could be there. They were incredibly helpful offering to stay till we dug ourselves out and made it over to them....Lets face it...you dont find this kind of dedication or service in the world today. Ten stars baby!!!!

On Tuesday, August 31st around 5pm - I went to the Autozone in Fairfax and witnessed the front desk clerk tell a Hispanic customer that he would not accept his money ($1 helping out another customer who was short). After the other customer found some extra change to pay, he claimed that he did not have change for $1 to get him out the store - and when the Hispanic customer left he told the other customers that he did have change and looked quite proud about it. If you dont want to have to deal with ignorance - dont go here.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. The clerk openly ridiculed me for not knowing for sure whether or not my car had four or six cylinders. He refused to show me where the oil at the back of the store was that I needed because, and I quote, "Im feeling lazy." When I saw that they were out of the oil I needed, I returned to the front desk to inform him, and he mocked me once again: "Why is this hard for you?" he asked, laughing. Id never been so disrespected in my life. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS STORE!

I had been coming to autozone for the last 6 years until yesterday when fairfax VA store didnt let use BOD2 and didnt want to test my battery even when I was going to get parts from them , ended up going across the street to another parts store where They treated me better Not visiting autozone again..

Really friendly, clean and well stocked. I needed a lightbulb, the guy looked it up and it was in my hand within about 2 mins of walking in the store. He lent me a screwdriver so for about 8$ and 10 mins I was no longer a pullover target. Nothing to improve here.

I went in there to find a rivet. Was going for some help. None was provided.for something that should have been a 5 min stop, it took 25 minutes to find what I was looking for. Found the post eventually but after lots of time wasted.

Love these guys. They know their stuff and are always helpful. Special order parts show up same day sometimes. Price is always lowest. Most of the id-i0-ts trashing this store dont know a muffler bearing from blinker fluid.
