After having shopped at 4 other ALDIs in 3 states, the Painesville, Ohio ALDI remains superior. The product selection, the freshness of produce, meats, etc, and a very steady staff with the same manager and nearly all the same associates for over 3 years. Its an older store with narrower aisles, but from what Ive seen the fancy new stores have less product in exchange for the store facade. Do all your stores like the Painesville store, please!

Always clean and organized. Typical Aldi fare. Wonderful prices and amazing, sometimes surprisingly awesome, selection. Get all your staples plus some fun or interesting thing to try. Dairy, veggies (frozen and fresh), good meat selection, snacks, alcohol, etc. Seasonal items are always fun, especially Christmas. Aldis is a German based store after all.

Normally have a good experience there but the floors were filthy, there was a really disgustingly dirty dustpan(I have a photograph of this) just left sitting on a freezer case (REALLY??) and there was practically no produce in stock at the time. A little effort goes a long way, guys.

I love Aldi for all of these reasons and more: an increased availability of organic items, very competitive pricing very fast check out and the newly remodeled store in Mentor Ohio and I am looking forward to seeing the store and Painesville Township being remodeled in the future.

On top of their amazing products (which consistently beat national brands in blind taste tests) and incredible prices, they also have great people. Plus they take Discover note and you can get $100 cash over purchases (the highest amount Ive found from any store thus far).

All the Also stores offer tremendous value. I frequent the chain from PA to Indiana and I always save money. The selection isnt as large as the other chains provide, but, after shopping there ling enough, I can get in and out quickly, buying exactly what I need.

Great prices, their store brand products often take as good or even better at a fraction of the cost, and often have healthier/safer ingredients. Have also gotten many non-condensing deals there as well! Could not recommend this store more highly!

Love the prices and the food, but if you are buying veggies here, try to use them up in three days, they are frozen before placed on the shelves and they do seem to go bad faster than buying at a farmers market.
