No pressure sales and very helpful (and knowledgeable) staff makes Steinhafels our go-to store for furniture. They are a little pricier than other nearby furniture stores, but weve purchased less expensive items before and always end up regretting it later (poor quality frame and/or cushions on cheaper furniture squeaking, sagging or wiggling before long). The only negatives with steinhafels are that they are so well staffed that you may be approached multiple times over a short period of time to see if you have any questions or need help. Minor annoyance, but Id rather have a person close by if I have questions than to have to go out on an expedition to find someone and then wait until they are available. Also, you may have to wait (sometimes a long time) for furniture delivery if they dont have something in stock--Im talking, sometimes months depending on the popularity or customization of the item you wish to purchase. Lastly, they offer free cookies. I dont need to be eating cookies, but they are irresistible when stopping by.

Made 4 trips back and forth between Steinhafels and Slumberland. I loved the look and feel of the Bovale sofa. At $1,580 OTD I was ready to buy. I turned down Slumberland 30% off one day sale and free shipping and great sofa at $1,160 OTD because I was willing to pay more for this sofa the first salesman told me was Italian leather and would last a lifetime. Met with another sales person and floor manager to find out it is China made leather and the longevity no where near what the first salesman stated. The manager basically was willing to do nothing and reiterated that they do not negotiable price regardless of the FASLE misrepresented product. I was willing to spend more if they could work out something on the American made leather sofa I saw on the floor. Unfortunately, Steinhafels left me at a loss and it cost me $420 today. In summary, Slumberland might not be as flashy in appearance as Steinhafels but the deals are true, the pricing better, the quality just as good in like to like categories, and they will earn your business.

We bought a bunch of furniture here about 10 years ago and all of the furniture is still in great shape. We got talked into the lifetime fabric guard for our couches and we went for it. We havent really spilled anything on it so we havent truly tested if its working. Maybe I should just spill a glass of red wine. I wont do it but its tempting. The store is really large and has a huge selection of furniture. I am sure that you will be able to find what you are looking for. On Saturdays you can get some fresh baked cookies. There is nothing like the smell of cookies baking. We had everything delivered and the drivers showed up an hour early. Who does that? The bad part is when they called me I was about an hour away. The delivery guys sat in my driveway waiting for me. I apologized but they werent mad. They said it was their fault for arriving early. So if youre looking to get some new furniture, then this is the place.

I would give them 0 stars if google would allow me to. This is one of the worst experiences i have ever had with a furniture store, i purchased several items from them, my couch got a big spot on it to from nail polish remover, i figured hey no problem i purchased the guardsman, low and behold my claim was denied, then i called steinhafels and spoke to them, they did absolutely nothing to help me with the situation, at one point the person i was talking to hung up on me, i have now been told it will be $500 to get my couch repaired even though i purchased the guardsman and it should be a covered repair, he supposedly spoke to the General Manager of the store as well and he basically said oh well nothing we can do, so do yourself a favor and get your furniture from a different store because clearly steinhafels wont stand behind what they sell.

We purchased several items that were delivered on two separate dates. On both occasions, the delivery was done very carefully. The men were extremely careful not only with our purchased items but also with our home and other furniture. They made sure that nothing was scraped, nicked or scratched as they brought the items into the house. Everything was carefully unpacked and assembled (when needed). They also took the extra time and effort to pick up any packing materials that may have dropped when setting up the furniture. We had a clear date and time for delivery and received several notices (emails and phone calls) advising us of the status of our deliveries. We are very pleased with the quality of our purchases but also with the care that was shown in the delivery. We will be customers for life.

Bad Experience! We bought a 3pc sectional and a kitchen table set. We thought it was a nice store UNTIL you have to deal with customer service. I had the experience of dealing with Steve Steinhafel and what a not so nice guy he is! We bought a wood table from them and after 6 weeks of cleaning it with a rung out rag with soap and water it started to lift........had they told us NOT to any water at all..........we would of listened. They want me to use pledge every day to clean this table with a family of 6 and kids under the age of 8 years old!!! After talking to Steve thinking he would do something for us...I was wrong, he blamed me for ruining the table and said,"sorry and have a nice day." I will NEVER do business with them again!

Shopping experience was pleasant, as were the prices for Labor Day Sale. I purchased two lamps (among other things) that were supposed to be shipped to this store from another Steinhafels store 30 miles away, so the salesman told me theyd be ready for pickup in 2-3 days. Its now been a week and a half and I hadnt heard anything, so I called the store. I was told that now they are waiting for more of these lamps from the vendor-- they didnt have any in stock at any of their stores-- and that it would be another week. I told the customer service rep what the salesman had told me, and I was told to "take that up with the salesman". Looks like Ill be waiting another week at the minimum.

I have done business a few times with Steinhafels and each experience has been a good one. I have gotten great customer service after my purchase and the sales people have been very helpful in assisting me in finding the right piece of furniture I was looking for. I recently had to wait a couple of months as a new chair was being manufactured with the cloth material that my wife picked out and they delivered without issue when it arrived. I truly like the large selection of furniture and wide open space to roam and find what it is that I am in the market for. I am sure I will be doing business again with them when I need something new.

Very strong customer service. My wife and I have spent a fair amount of money here over the past few years. Each time, the quality warrants our return. Our most recent visit was for a new couch. We ended up getting a chair, ottoman, and side chair (for another room). We were helped by a knowledgeable and incredibly helpful employee named Lucas. Id recommend him to anyone. No hassle or strong arm tactics. After the purchase, we explored the rest of the store. Most of that was for fun. But, we found some amazing pillows that matched the our purchase in the clearance center. Well certainly return in the future.
