I went to buy a copy of the Sunday New York Times. I bought their last copy which, when I got to my car, I found was incomplete. Some sections were missing; other sections were damaged. Customer Service refused to refund my money. When I spoke to the manager, he told me that customers usually look through the paper before taking it out of the store. "And I didnt," I said, "so are you telling me that its my fault that your store sold me a damaged product?" "Well, you should have checked it," he said. I left the store before losing my temper. The customer is not always right, I know, but he or she does have the right not to be condescended to by someone whose job is to provide customer service.

Today I was looking for an item in the frozen foods department that I havent been able to find at any of the local branches since I first found (and loved them) 2 weeks ago in the Willoughby store! (Bon Appetit Parchment Wrapped Dinners...ask for them!) I spoke to Dale over there and he told me they had been discontuined! (whahhh!!!) *But* he still had some in the back freezer and would be happy to find them for me since I reallllly wanted them. Dale took the time to find them, and then found the propper person to price them for me and even took them to the cashier for me to ring out. *Thats the kind of service you rarely see any more! Thanks Dale!

I was trying to buy liquor with my gf whos 19 who just happened to be with me. Then the clerk refused to sell me alcohol cause she was underaged. Now i understand why he did but at least put a damn sign outside before people go in and try to buy something only to be denied of service because they have someone with them thats underaged. I didnt even know about that rule until now so a huge sign saying "no underaged persons allowed" would be greatly appreciated rather than have my time wasted

Giant Eagle in South Euclid on Mayfield Rd has yhr the worst pharmacy customer servic. I waited in yhr drive through nearly a half hr. When i pulled up to the window the pharmacist walked away stating "someone will be with you stortly"... 15 min later i pressed the call button and 3 min after a pharmacists assisted me. They move so slow both inside and outside and do not always have the medication in stock.

I despise this store . Their food is always questionable especially the meat and fish. Theres also expired food sitting on shelves . Since its such a popular store name people dont check the expiration dates of certain things because they expect it to be ok . Ive even bought bread that was stale right off the shelf . All in all this is a terrible store .

good selection of food both western & exotic...normally. the last visit there, they had no lettuce, bell peppers or celery. on EVERY visit, the restroom has been terrible. not being kept clean, tissues and debris all over the floor and a smell reminiscent of a garbage dump. To add insult, it is the only available one to customers in the entire store.

I usually think of a Giant Eagle as a well stocked store. This one was NOT. The meat section was almost empty, there was absolutely NO chicken! When I asked I was told whatever is out there is what they have. I kept changing my dinner plan and looked for something else but they were out of those things too. So I just left and went elsewhere.

Its hard to believe that this place will be open too terribly long what with the Legacy Village store about three miles away. This place is dirty outside, poorly organized and the cashiers are bored, poorly trained and often slow. Also, youll never find fresh vegetables here. I dont mean to be all negative...all in all its not a bad place.

I have always liked giant eagle cakes, but this bakery NEVER gets the cake that I preorder and pay for in advance RIGHT!! Its sad I cant cancel MY KIDS BIRTHDAY PARTY... Because someone in the bakery department is neglecting to do their job properly..... This is NOT 1st time, but it will be the last.......

I shop here nearly every day. The store is mostly well kept, and the employees are great. Banking, pharmacy, and other services are great to have in store. Certain inventory is often out of stock, such as fresh bread from the bakery. Checkout lines are also often very long.

Really dropped in quality over the years. Case in point they sell (some) "select" grade steaks now, like you see at save a lot or other discount stores. Still better than the Mayfield location, but go the extra 10 minutes to legacy instead if you want a much nicer store.

Most everything about the store is fine, its the one Ive been going to regularly for the past 8 months. But every single time I go the checkout lines are obscene because there are only 1-2 registers open at peak Sunday hours. Management needs to address this.

They inconvenience a lot of people by not having the drive thru working in the pharmacy department and cant or wont fix the computers or buy new computers so that the customers wont be inconvenienced when they come to pick up or drop off their prescriptions

Very long wait on line bc cashiers are slow and they often only have one or two lines open, even during off peak hours you could stand on line for half an hour, sometimes I needed to just abandon my cart and leave. Very frustrating.

The most giant Giant Eagle Ive seen. From groceries, pharmaceuticals, to prepared foods this location has it all including a liquor store. Could use more open lanes during the day but it has plenty of self check out lanes too.

Could be more clean. Entrance has those perfumed bags near the Flowers which triggers migraines for me so I tend to avoid this one. Also not organized in a way that makes sense or matches other Giant Eagle stores.

My experience going there in the early morning hours are always horrible, there is only one, if your lucky two self check out lines open. There is no reason I should have to stand in line to check myself out.

Its fine. Giant Eagle in general is kind of expensive, but if you need something really quickly, this location is pretty good. The people who work there are pretty nice.
