I used Hoover-Fisher for my wedding, and I was extremely happy with the entire experience! I found the shop after a disheartening encounter with a florist down the road. Im a flower snob, and I wanted to order the EXACT flowers I had in mind -- without the hemming and hawing other florists had been giving me. I spoke with Paul at Hoover-Fisher, and he was actually listening to me! He was mindful of costs, which I really appreciated, and he took what I said and came up with a proposal for what I wanted (which was extremely reasonably priced, especially given the flowers Id selected). Then my wedding day arrived and the flowers were beyond gorgeous! They were exactly what I wanted, even down to the precise color of the blooms (a bridal bouquet made of nothing but plump pink peonies; bunches of hot pink, orange and yellow Gerber daisies and tulips in pitchers around the house). Thank you Paul and everyone at Hoover-Fisher (and a special thanks to Kim for setting me up to meet with Paul right away)!

I looked for a local florist around Silver Spring to send flowers for my husbands grandmother funereal. I have found Hoover-Fisher Florist. When I called them they were very nice and willing to help me. They sent flowers very fast to the funereal home and flowers looked exactly like on the picture. Price was not the highest but not cheapest. Flowers did not last very long. At the end of the day some of them did not look good already and next day on the funereal all of them were wilted completely. It made me very sad. Also they messed up with a card, the information was not clear so family did not recognized who sent flowers. I did not care about this at all, but some people might. Will not come back.

I have received many beautiful bouquets from Hoover-Fisher Florist. The arrangements last a long time, and I really like the variety of flowers, vases and baskets. The deliveries are timely - I received Mothers Day flowers the early morning of :). I have also visited the store and purchased the cutest and most unique holiday ornaments. Its a fun place to browse and shop. The staff is very helpful and friendly too. I highly recommend Hoover-Fisher, and have recommended them to friends and co-workers. My job started ordering from them to send flowers to staff for various events, and have been very happy with the service.

First off I will say this florist deserves no stars but because they did deliver something and in a very quick manner I will give them 2 starts. I was embarrassed by the bouquet of flowers I ordered from this florist. They were nothing like the big beautiful bouquets you see on their website. They honestly looked like someone put a five dollar grocery store bouquet in a vase. It was a only a few flowers, it had no form, shape or design. I guess they figured since I ordered them from out of town for a funeral I would never see them. I wouldnt recommend them and Ill never order from them again.

I dont recommend this store. I went to buy one day before some flowers for my wifes birthday and agreed with them to delivery time will be at 11:30 am because my wife office open at 11:00 am. The delivery gay came to the office 10:10 am and he gave a call telling me that he will leave the flowers outside. I told him that please come back at 1130 am and he told me call to the office. When I call to the office the manager told me that delivery guy will be there at 4:40 pm and if I want to receive then ASAP I have to pay for an extra delivery guy. No lo recomiendo para nada.

Paid for a small arrangement and specified that I wanted roses to be added to the bouquet. I was really disappointed at the arrangement I picked up the following day and felt that I spent way more $$$ than what I received. I love supporting my local businesses so I am hoping that my next experience will be better. I ended up going to my local Harris Teeter grocery store and buying a dozen roses to help spruce up the lackluster arrangement that I ordered. I am sure that you will notice the significant difference in my before/after shots below.

Hoover-Fisher is, by far, the best florist around. The flowers are beautiful and fresh and the arrangements are put together with great care and attention to detail. Not only are the flowers wonderful, but the employees are, as well. They have great attitudes and are very anxious to satisfy all of your needs and requests! I have nothing but positive things to say about Hoover-Fisher and will never choose another florist over them. Rating Hoover-Fisher as "Excellent" is an understatement!!

Ordering from out-of-state, I wasnt sure what to expect. I can be picky, so its very difficult not to be able to see the arrangement beforehand. I called and spoke to the nicest lady. I received swift, friendly and helpful customer service, and the flowers are PERFECT! The one imperative was that the arrangement be all purple. It turned out beautifully and was just the right thing for the purple-lover they were destined for. Thank you Hoover Fisher!

Best Florist around! Not only are their flowers beautiful and affordable but the customer service was excellent! I went into the shop with no idea of what I wanted and am happy to say the sales people were not only friendly and eager to help but they came up with the perfect arrangement for me. It was beautiful and stayed fresh way longer than I could have expected! Loved this florist and will make sure to use only them in the future!

I am very happy with the services I received from Michelle and Wilma. My flowers were beautiful. (They sent me a picture of the final product) I would definitely use them again! I was also informed of the delivery time, tracking number and given an invoice prior to delivery so that I could make any changes or verify what I had ordered was what was delivered. Forget 1800-whatever and use this local florist!

Very nice people, great customer service and beautiful flowers! I ordered flowers for my niece that had her wisdom teeth out (it was the smiley yellow mug with flowers) - it arrived within hours. The person that talked to me to take my order was extremely nice and helpful. My niece sent me a picture of the flowers...they were gorgeous!! Thank you so much!!

Hoover-Fisher is excellent on so many levels. Their staff is intelligent and creative; their deliveries are on-time and their prices are fair. Bill Fisher runs this family business with pride and is very fair. Over the years I have ordered from many local florists, but I will no longer call anyone except hoover-fisher. Thanks!

This florist provides prompt and courteous service. Ive used them several times, and every time the flowers arrive fresh, beautiful and just as they appear in the photos on their website. I always prefer to patronize local businesses, and Im extra-happy to do so here.

The only florist that does same day delivers in Silver Spring after 3:30 PM and delivered in less than an hour. I was happy with the service. My sister loved the birthday flowers. The flowers were bright and they looked better than the pictures. ~Happy Customer
