Beware, bad service and the flowers were wrong: I chose Blooms on the advice of my venue. It started when I made an appointment with Ronn. I planned a destination wedding in PA and was traveling to meet with all of my potential vendors. Ronn waited until the day before our meeting, after I had already booked every minute of my trip and was already in town for my trip to call and tell me that he would not be at work for our meeting. Ok, I can forgive a scheduling error…I’ll just meet with someone else and they can give Ronn the notes. I did and waited anxiously for my proposal- I hadn’t given them a budget and was really curious about how much everything was going to cost (wanted to see what I would have to do to make the flowers work into my overall wedding budget). Well, a month later and no proposal. It turns out my email had been written down wrong so I got that straightened out. No problem, just an accident. It was about 9 months out still so no worries. When the wedding got closer I met with Ronn to go over things and make a few changes. Again, I waited and waited for a proposal but nothing. Over a month after our meeting I was getting annoyed so I contacted Blooms. I was sent the old proposal…it hadn’t been updated at all. After being sent the old proposal 3 or 4 times by multiple people at Blooms, I got my venue site coordinator to contact the owner. That seemed to fix things though the process of getting that proposal was extremely stressful. I had given pictures of exactly what I wanted to Blooms so I figured that the end product would at least still be good. My ceremony bouquets were gorgeous! My ceremony arch was ok- it didn’t really look like the picture that I had given but it wasn’t terrible- the flowers on it were pretty but the branches (a big design aspect to the look of the arch) were not like the picture at all. The reception flowers were the big mess up. They didn’t look anything like the pictures I had given them. They were the wrong color to start (light pink instead of dark pink) and were so far off in design that in looking at both the inspiration picture and actual product, I cannot see a resemblance. It was the first thing that I noticed when I walked into my reception venue. Probably the worst part of the whole situation is that I emailed Blooms to tell them of their mistakes and the response I got was horrible rude. I got someone else to proof read my email before I sent it and was told that it was almost too nice and sounded like I was apologizing for complaining. Well, apparently the staff at Blooms didn’t feel that way. Instead of sending me back an apology, they sent me an email blasting how I handled the situation. I work in customer service and COMPLETELY understand that some people are just difficult customers who cannot be pleased but this was not me! A business should know when they screw up (so they can fix it for the next customer) and when a business is told that they have not done a good job, they should apologize, not ridicule the complaining customer. If you want good service and pretty flowers, stay away- you might get a good end product from Blooms but you might not and the stress of getting to the end product is just not worth it. Every other vendor that I worked with was FABULOUS but Blooms was a huge disappointment.

Blooms by Vickrey saved my wedding. We had originally chosen another florist based on family relationships and thought all would go well, until we actually received the flowers on the day of the wedding. The flowers were all wrong, and how were we ever going to fix this with 6 hours until the wedding. In swooped Blooms by Vickrey to save the day. With a quick call and a rundown of the situation, they were on their way with new flowers, bouquets, and boutonnieres. In less than 3 hours we had new flowers that were exactly what she wanted, and were so beautiful. Our guests had endless compliments about the flowers and we were so happy to be pointed in the direction of Blooms by Vickrey. Our only regret is that we didn’t go with them in the first place. Thank you so much for saving our day, we truly are grateful for your quick service and beautiful arrangements. I cannot recommend Blooms by Vickrey enough. If you need any flowers in the Camp Hill/Harrisburg area, this is by far the best place to go.

Sue at Blooms did an incredible job working within my budget to provide exactly what I needed for my wedding. My bouquets and boutonnieres were perfect! They even were able to provide a corsage for my dog to wear on her collar, which looked lovely. I visited multiple florists in the Mechanicsburg/Camp Hill area when looking for a florist for my wedding. From the moment I sat down to discuss my vision at Blooms I felt welcomed. Sue took the pictures and input I provided, listened to my input, and provided exactly what I wanted!! Overall, I had a very good experience working wtih Blooms. I would encourage any bride to visit them for a consultation!

I highly recommend Blooms By Vickrey. I have ordered flowers from them before and when it came time to select a florist for our wedding I knew my choice was Blooms. I met with Sue, and she created exactly what I had in mind. Simple, but elegant. The service was great and the flowers were beautiful. I called several florists in the area because my friend lives there and I had gotten her birthday mixed up by one day I was frantic to send her flowers later in the day most florists told me they could not help me because they had already done there deliveries for the day but Vickreys found an extra person to deliver the flowers and make my bffs day special for me. aug 1st, my sons wedding day... the mens boutiners and 2 mom corsages were missed....an hour before the ceremony start, my husband walks into this floral shop, explains the situation.....like lighting, two designers were on it, put together 5 boutiners and 2 corsages. Their service and quick dedication were amazing and the flowers were beautiful!!!! Thank you for that quick rescue!!!!

I initially went here because liberty forge (where my ceremony and reception was) got the center pieces from here. I decided to get my bouquets here as well and i loved them. i gave them a picture and they came up with bouquets that were prettier than the picture. big colorful beautiful flowers!!! highly recommend :)

Sue and her team provided the flowers for our daughters May wedding. From our first visit to the shop, Sue caught the vision for what we hoped for -- and the result was even beyond our expectations. We would highly recommend Blooms by Vickrey -- quality craftsmanship and great customer service!

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding for which Blooms by Vickery did the flowers for this past weekend - everything was absolutely beautiful! The colors were amazing with our dresses and only the best flowers (lillies, roses, calla lillies, wax flower, hydrangea) were used. Stunning!
