I had a terrible experience with an item that I purchased in this store. I never bother to rate items that I either buy online or in store. But this is a situation that has really upset me. I went to Office Max located in Hallandale Beach, FL. and I purchased a cabinet Dakota Oak to place books. Right after I made the purchased, one of the sales associates advised me that I was better off having someone from their store assemble it for me since they would not make themselves responsible if I was unable to do it on my own and if something breaks in the process and the fact that the material of the specific item that I was purchasing was fragile. In addition, they advised that they did not have the item requested in the store, so it would take between one to two weeks for me to get it. So I got worried and I asked for an estimate, once they came back with the estimate I decided to return it since it was out my range, I also return it because I was afraid of assembling it on my own and perhaps something could break. Once, they attempted to issue a refund, they advised that they could not do it since the item was not in the store, that instead Office Max will send me a check in the mail. I asked how long does it take? they replied a bout a week. and I said okay and I left the store. It has been two months since and neither I have still not gotten my refund nor anyone from Office Max has contacted me. I went to the store twice after it and they advised me that they send the check and nothing. Then I decided to call and the customer service representative named Christina was very rude to me and said she did not have control over it, that there was nothing she could do and to wait for someone from Office Max to contact me. Guess what? no one has contacted me and I still do not have my refund. I do not understand how hard can it be for them to refund a customer $200 either by check or by mail. At this point I am very upset, I feel like writing a complaint and filing it with to court, so they can actually spend 10 times more in an attorney to answer the complaint.

Spent ONE HOUR AND 15 MINUTES waiting to have cards printed. There is one person in the front doing all the work and 4 others walking around useless (that one person working really was trying to do his best). While I was there, at least 3 other customers left the store in rage, I was the next one. After all the time I spent waiting the color of the cards I was printing turned out wrong and the cutting as if tye edges were being ripped, absolutely unacceptable. I DONT RECOMMEND this store, every time I came I had to wait for eternity to be attended end every time they would serve people that came after me before they finished with me. Thats slow and unprofessional, and supposedly they work with businesses...

Store my need new management!!! Prepare yourself for a slow and painful experience. Employees that I dealt with really did not know whats going on. Did not have the right information about the product there selling and services they are providing. I made 3 different trips in 2 days. At the end got a refund and went to a different store

Willing to take my printing order over the phone while sitting at red lights sent print order to their E-mail when I walked in my order was ready 3 minutes before closing picked up a few sale items that were priced for the following day and granted those prices.great service.

Short staff at service center , no manager on site on a Saturday to assist . I came back today Madga at printing was short staff 9am and was not able to attend 3 customers . This place need a new manager.
