I want to like Janaf but its old and crappy. Its just garbage concrete jungle. like 3 trees in miles of unevenly paved asphalt everywhere. Stupid design and layout. Efficiently cheap and it shows. Yes you have a variety of businesses in there but come on! Clean it up. Renovate it OR sell it and let someone else take it to the next level b/c you basically make it look ghetto. The nicest building you have over there is the cookout fast food and a new Walmart paint job. You are DYING...

Would be better if it had a little more to it. Also definitely not located in the best part of Hampton Roads. Overall it is convenient for what it offers, and the location. Not somewhere i would choose, Hampton Roads has plenty of excellent shopping yards/Malls and JANAF is pretty low on the list.

I have been shopping here for many years. I have watched it change from being a movie theater to being many shops that offer great products. My favorite places to visit are petco, citi trends, and of course Kool smiles. This is a wonderful place to visit...oh and I also love Cicis Pizza!!!

JANAF has some great new places, some great regular places, but also a good amount of open spaces and old retailers...because of the chain restaurants and brand new WAWA, it gets 4 stars...if all spaces were full and all businesses were popular, it would get a full 5 stars.

Seems a bit outdated in my opinion. A strip of thrifty stores to shop along with a few popular stores to browse and shop. Not much of an attraction but serves its purpose of being a convenient place for locals. Not the best place, but not the worst Ive ever visited either.

Came in on 8-31-16, about 130 pm and after ordering food and drinks we were informed they had no burgers or chopped steak. How does this happen? How did run out of food? The bathroom smelled horrible and did not have working locks on the doors.

Walked through the main mall, was disappointed in that a disturbingly high percentage of the stores were closed. Those which were open, catered exclusively to their clientele. Go figure. Security staff and indicator of problems had.

Great shopping. I can literally get everything done in one area...from denist and eye doctor appointments. Hardware stores. Peircing shops grocery shopping and clothing everthing is convenient and fairly priced

Basicly a giant strip mall with a walmart. Very poorly designed intersections. Hussulers and beggars. The only reason I gave it some stars is because it has a lot of stores, and the Wal-Mart was just renovated.

I like going to Walmart and Firehouse Subs, but there are numerous other shopping and dining options with free parking. The traffic is often heavy and parking lot is congested near the Walmart.

It appears to be a very old shopping center. Its not very well kept up and a lot of the stores dont interest me. Also, its hard to get around as it has a very poorly laid out parking lot.

It has a lot of unused area and not easily assessible for pedestrians to walk around safely to get all of the businesses. They need a mini-shuttle service with better patrolling.

I love the selection of stores.. Tj maxx is def my fave.. Only negative is people always coming up to you asking for money. They literally hunt you down in the parking lot.
