Here are just a few of my experiences, out of something I need every time I shop there, this week it was head lettuce, what store runs out of lettuce, another time I wanted chicken strips and the butcher said they were not in season therefore you were out until then. I purchased an item that required an in-store coupon but instead of the cashier asking me if I had my coupon she charged me full price. When I wanted a refund of the difference she claimed she could not do the refund, I then went to customer service who claimed she could not do the refund and called a manager who fumbled his way through the refund as if he didnt know how to preform the refund. Finally after three people and 20 extra minutes I received a refund. The baggers are not well trained to bag groceries properly and this is probably the most important part of grocery shopping. Purchases are randomly bagged together and thrown in a bag rather than neatly packed (boxed food packed all together and standing upright), etc. The butchers and baggers are helpful, accommodating, and courteous. I have shopped at Fareway since the first store opened in Omaha but due to experiences like above happening more frequently Ive considered shopping elsewhere.

The area of 90th and Maple is devoid of any decent grocers. Theres a Walmart Market, this Fareway, and a Family Fare in the area; this store is somehow the most expensive of the three and its not really close. The interior of this store is depressing and looks like it was ripped from the late 1980s and placed here. The product selection itself was decent, but the whole experience was hauntingly depressing. Their prices were much higher than the nearby Walmart (not 5% higher, sometimes 25% or more), and the layout of the store resembled a feedlot more than a modern grocer. Their selection of frozen items (I was looking for a frozen pizza among other things) was lackluster but they carried all of the popular items. If youre looking for a grocery store in this area, Id urge you to go to either Whole Foods (~2 mi away) or Hy-Vee on Cass St (~2.5 mi away) or even Bakers on 132 and Maple (~4 mi away) than shop at this store or the nearby Family Fare. The prices and selection combined with the retro appearance (in a non-cool, non-hipster, non-ironic, non-appreciated sense) guaranteed I wont be checking out this Fareway again.

Fareway price matches other stores automatically so theres no guess work or having to bring in a gazillion fliers from other stores. The people are overall friendly and very helpful. They typically have better quality meat than other stores and the only real issues that Ive had are when they run out of an item that is on sale and occasionally the baggers have a negative attitude. Also its nice to have my groceries carried out for me like they used to do it everywhere.

I have been shopping at Fareway for approximately 6 or 7 years. By far your store ( N 90th street and Maple Street) has the freshest and best meat selection in town. Yours prices are lower on average for the quality of food. You have made changes in location of some items in the store. I had to get assistance to find somethings. Fareway is my number one place to grocery shop! Excellent service!!! Martha

I dont think Ive ever received poorer customer service....anywhere. I drove 14 miles out of my way to shop here. 2 hours....I placed my order for meat at 3pm and then stood. It was ready at 4:50pm. I asked to speak with a manager who just tried to pass it off as if this doesnt happen....BS! It did. I watched over 50 people come and go.... If youre black, shop elsewhere.

Great store always friendly staff. Always find cheap deals on things. The meat department staff is always nice and the quality is great. They do the old school style and wrap everyones meat and it takes way too long. You may have to wait behind 10 old people that have no clue what they want. Costcos meat department is better.

Love their produce and meat. I also love that they honor competitors sale prices. Not as much variety as bigger grocery stores, but really worth the trip. My son goes there just for their bakerys big cinnamon rolls because we cant find anything like them in any other store. I think they must be hand made.

You cannot beat the meat counter anywhere else. The prices are good and the quality of meat is amazing. We always buy 10 lbs of boneless skinless chicken breasts aall the time nd they are so much larger than the ones we used to buy at Costco. I am a huge fan of this grocery store

Best butcher shop in town bar-none. Old fashioned in terms of appearance, prices, service and quality. Seriously the last of a breed - take some time to go check it out before there are no more full service butcher shops that still wrap your meat in white paper for you.

Great store. Friendly and great sales/prices. They are one of the only stores CLOSED on the holiday, so I am doing ALL of my holiday shopping there! That is the way it should be.

Awesome meat counter... except they seem annoyed when you want your cold cuts sliced thinner than what they have pre-cut. Oh well, sorry I like what I like

Great butcher shop that happens to have a small grocery store attached. Great meat, a somewhat smaller selection of groceries than the usual mega-mart.

Good prices, but seems to have a smaller selection than other, bigger stores. The butcher shop is great. Not a fan of their fruit selection, though.

Prices are average. Location could be better. Customer service is poor. Management was very rude. My kids have better manners. Wont be returning.

I love Fareway, but they were not prepared for the 2 day sale. This location is always out of the sale items, especially salad mix.
