Great shopping and dinning, we went to several gift shops and had mexican food for lunch, lots of cops patrolling around which was good because there are some pretty shady people (pickpockets) eyeing the tourists and their bags, just keep an eye out and watch your purse or wallet. There are signs posted about these theifs but be safe and dont let it ruin your time here. Parking can be very hard to find during peak season. Most all shop merchants were very pleasant to deal with. Prices are what you would expect for a tourist destination but not overly expensive.

Minirennmeile mit einigen Restaurants. Immerhin mal was fussläufiges in den USA, was dort aber im Land des Autos, in dem schon Gehwege nicht selbstverständlich sind, eher noch exotisch ist. Ganz niedlich.

Walk around the square! Many places to eat and shop! Not much parking! There is a municipal parking lot that you can pay by card! Dairy Queen, to sit down eatery like Top of the Mast. Walk the pier and bring your fishing pole. Quaint area! Also can buy hundreds flavor of ice cream or fudge. Great place to vacation. Many motels and Timeshares! I go back every year.

Gorgeous place. Times square is a neat little pedestrian area right off the main part of the beach. Lots of little shops and a few restaurants and ice cream shops. And of course The Pier. Enjoy the everyone stunning sunset and blowing of the conchs. Frequently there are street performers or musicians playing live music at the restaurants on the patio areas. *****

This seemed like it could be a really happening place. There are places to eat and drink and the beach is right there. I think on a sunny day during the in season there would be a big spring break type of crowd. It was raining the day I went so not crowded or busy. I had to pay to park but walking down the pier was free.

Visited Dow at her shop in Times Square Fort Myers Beach for a tattoo - great experience and I highly recommend it. Dow is a talented artist and I am so pleased with my tattoo. She is very knowledgeable and informative, minimal discomfort and no scabbing - barely knew I had it done! Best vacation souvenir eve.

Old time beach atmosphere but heavy construction detracts from the tranquility. This is more than a temporary inconvenience, work will continue for several years. Coupled with the continuing water pollution there are other places to spend your time and money.

Since the rum lounge closed, parking is now on pay machines with tickets that jam frequently, parking is scarce/expensive, and the mom and pop stores are being run out by hotels.. aside from that the beach is relaxing. Fishing is frantic but fun.

Also known as Fort Myers Beach. Very nice and lots to see and do. I suggest arriving early as finding a reasonable place to park can be a bit tricky. Its also easier to get over the bridge that leads to the beaches and Times Square.

Its a fun little downtown shopping district for a sleepy little seaside town. Bars, restaurants, ice cream, a pier, and loads of beach/surf shops for all your touristy needs. The long pier is a favorite of my kids.

Had a lot of fun, weekends they shut down at 11pm Weekday 10pm Petes time out is good. We just had cocktails. Listening to the music, getting some ice cream. Must check it out, if your at FtMyers Beach!

The nightlife here is a blast! We had so much fun spending our evenings here after we spent the day on the beach! At sunset, theres not really a more beautiful place to be.

This is the place to go in the evenings when visiting Fort Myers. The pier is a particularly good place to watch the sunset and there are people and music everywhere.
