After reading the reviews, I was very skeptical about visiting Texotic Motorsports, but I had a pleasant experience. Maria won me over with her customer service via phone. When I called, she was very pleasant and you could tell that she was a people person. She answered any and all questions I had about the product that I was going to purchase. It was very important for me that everything worked as we had traveled 7.5-8 hrs to visit family during Thanksgiving and decided to take a chance to purchase a go kart through them. Since Ive been home, I and the kids have had nothing but fun and no problems with our product purchase. However, I advise that you keep in mind that if you are going to purchase anything from here, listen to their advice when it comes to purchasing some of the Chinese products. They are more in the business of selling sport bikes and dont really specialize in Chinese products but will stand behind what they are selling. Remember that you get what you pay for and anything can be broken if it is not taken care of. I knew this going in, so my expectation wasnt too high on the product I purchased, but I did expect great customer service from the team at Texotic. In the end, we got a nice go kart and are thinking of purchasing a second. We will consider purchasing from Texotic if we are in the area again. Heck, we were even fed pizza and though their bikes state that they dont wont kids sitting on them, they are accommodating if you are being responsible with your kiddos. We all have buying expectations and they are quite different. If you are in the market, at least give them a chance even if you dont buy anything, but ALWAYS do your research on anything you purchase. Horrible, horrible place. My husband and I purchased a go kart here on Christmas Eve from the lady owner for $1400. Christmas Day we were so excited to surprise our sons; however, the kart would not cut on. We tried several times. At this point my sons are so upset, did I say this happened on Christmas Day. So my husband had to pull out jumper cables and try to get it going. After several tries he finally got it to start. So are you thinking what clearly Im thinking that this should be happening one day after you purchase this kart. So we called the store on Monday after Christmas and received a message that they were on break until January 5th. So fast forward until today, January 16th. My husband loads the kart on his truck and takes it back to the store for them to replace the faulty battery, tires and headlight that was not working correctly. The owner was very rude and nasty towards my husband and refused to fix the kart. He insisted that he pay for a diagnostic and the repairs. Really?? We have not had this kart 30 days and it has NEVER operated correctly. Please stay away from this place they are awful. My husband called the police and filed a report and we will be escalating this matter further. A shame one has to go to these measures to get someone to do the right thing.
We bought a go-cart and a scooter from they guys at first they were very nice and eager to make a sale and gave us a good deal. So when we got home my son loved to go-cart but then we started having problems with it so we took it back and explained the problem to the owner and thats where the trouble started made every excuse possible to blame the problem on us didnt even have it a day. They were so happy to take our money with no hesitation but when it came to make repairs it was and is a problem. they acted like we were asking for our money back all we asked was for they to make the repairs needed and then they wanted to charge us for that. Us as customers will not bring them anymore business or any customers. So if your looking to buy any kind of sports bikes look elsewhere or be very careful and ask many and lots of question and maybe even in writing............

I would have to think that all the comments below are correct. The other day I just happened to be in a place to witness a horrid event by this company! They are completely racist!! I assume it was the owner or the lady that runs the place repeatedly called someone the "N" word and then I assume it was her husband stated that he was part of the Aryan Nation and would put that person in a trunk and make them disappear!" This is complete outrage and uncalled for in todays day and age much less from a suppose to be professional business!!! I am glad I never bought anything from this company and I ASSURE YOU I never will! I just wanted to spread the word that these people are racist and are full of hatred and should not be supported in any way!

Stay away from here; they have horrid customer service. I came in looking for a part which they did not have, which was fine, and I walked away. The owner, or whoever, then proceeded to ask me what my problem was, which I then explained (which was that every time I came in, the story changed about the availability of parts), I was called a pr*ck. Insults were thrown about. He could have just let me walk away, and even if he didnt, calling a customer a pr*ck was uncalled for! I was already leaving. Seriously, worst customer service ever!

The WORST Customer Service EVER!!! I purchased a BRAND NEW four-wheeler for my son, and had problems with it from the first day I brought it home. I returned it to have it repaired, and it was not repaired!! I had to return it again, and hope they will repair it this time! They are rude, and I will NEVER purchase anything from them again. If your money means anything to you take it to someone who will not sell you a hunk of junk!! I agree with the comment posted on April 3, 2011- STAY AWAY!!!!

STAY AWAY!!!! Horrible customer service. I had problems with my scooter the 1st day I bought it with NO help from these people. They took my money and that was the end of it! They will not have parts. They will talk to you like you are an idiot and are bothering them. I have nothing good to say about these people. I asked about a part. It was one price the day I called and over 20dollars more when I showed up to pick it up.
I bought a scooter for my son from them and wound up getting a less expensive one. They answered all my questions and let me decide without pressuring me. They also said I should think about getting him a helmet, which I totally forgot about. Then they gave me a good deal on the scooter and helmet. Its rare to find this kind of customer service these days. I will recommend them to my friends.

DO NOT buy from here by the 3rd day I bought the scooter I began to have problems with it they seem nice at first then I called about the problem he gave me no answers just to "bring it in" when I did they treated us poorly left my father and I standing outside for 10+ mins and had him bring down the scooter by himself!. Now the scooter still wont work!.
