I may be in the market soon for a specific BMW motorcycle, and am checking out dealerships that sell BMW, in addition to Mancuso Powersports SW, who I deal with. I came across Wild West Motoplex through Cycle Trader and decided to check it out one day. Great selection of pre-owned motorcycles as well as good selection of new motorcycles and accessories. Bought a couple of accessories from the parts counter and the service there was adequate, not great. That is the reason for the second star in this rating. As I moseyed amonst the pre-owned bikes and the new bikes, no one came over to introduce themselves and offer assistance. Not a good sign. I stopped at the BMW bikes and paid some attenton to the Kawasakis on the showroom floor. Other than the girl greeting at the door so one made contact. I went back a second time a couple of weeks later just to see who will come over and make contact. This time not only did the girl sitting at the desk greet me, but one of the girls standing around on the showroom floor also welcomed me to the dealership, but offered no further assistance. The sales persons were clearly the guys wearing company shirts, whereas these girls appeared to be greeters. So at both visits none of the sales persons came over even though on the first visit there were hardly any customers in the place. In the second visit there were more customers but there were enough salesmen to at the very least make contact. I note that this is not the first review drawing attention to this lack of customer service. And a "relaxed, no pressure" approach is fine, but this MUST NOT be confused with a lack of courtesy and no initial contact, to acknowledge the presence of the paying customer. I am 55+ years old and when I come to a dealership I EXPECT someone to come over and do their job! I am not there to do any of these people a favour - lets get that straight. They are there to earn my business, and so far Wild West Motoplex has failed. Maybe they have their demographic who they pander to, and if that is the case then their business model is myopic. Contrast that with Mancuso SW. When I arrive there, there are no greeters but the salesmen make contact in short order, and let me know that they are there in case I have any questions. BOOM! I am inclined to do business here. I am still looking, and will likely visit Wild West one more time, ONLY because I notice the "owner" appears to respond to feedback here. Maybe he will get the message and implement corrective action. Maybe not. Suffice it to say that I will simply show up and see if they earn my business. Mancuso SW does not automatically have a lock on my money as I have NO allegiance to them, but as it stands right now it is Mancuso 1 Wild West 0.

This is the second time I posted this. It was apparently removed the first time. I dropped by after work as they were rolling the bikes in prior to close at 6:00pm. It took a while but a guy finally asked if I had been helped. I told him that it looked as if they were trying to close. He said that they would be closing soon, but "its OK." He stood and distractedly answered my questions in a half interested manner. I told him that if they needed to close to just say so and I could come back another time. He said "No, thats fine," but seemed very distracted. Then, abruptly, a man I assume to be the owner turned out the lights and told me to exit out the front door. I turned and walked out the door and to my truck. As I was trying to leave, the guy that had been answering my questions, came up and said "Sorry about that," and gave me his card. I understand there is a closing time, but there is also courtesy. I worked in a motorcycle shop for 5 years while going to school and we would have never treated a customer like that if they showed up 20 minutes prior to closing. First, we would have shown them the courtesy of UN-distracted attention. Secondly, we would not have abruptly turned out the lights and told them to exit. If it had been me, I would have explained that, unfortunately, we were about to close and that if he were to come back at another time, I would be very glad to take as much time as needed to find what he needed. I would have given him a brochure and thanked him for coming by. The owner of the shop I worked for would have never been so rude and disrespectful to a customer and employee, and instead would have walked over and politely introduced himself and explain that they were closing, but if the issue were something simple, he would solve it now. This shop is very close to home and would be convenient to get service done, however; my experience coupled with the reviews I have read here is telling me to find another shop in the Houston area because I fear lack of respect for me and my bike I buy.

We have a group of jet ski hobbyists and 3 of my friends have purchased the 2016 Yamaha Vx cruiser model from Wild West Motoplex. The total out the door price was $10,700 including a single trailer. I was referred to a salesman named Anthony by my buddies. We went to the store today and were told that he went to lunch and we have to wait for him to come back because hes the only one taking care of PWC sale. After about an hour he came back and I showed him my friends invoice and I asked for the same model. He not only rejected me but asked for $1,500 more for a deluxe model which is even lower than the cruiser. He tried to play the rebates and incentive games and acted like he didnt care if I dont want to buy it. Im not stupid to pay more than what I knew my friends just paid a few days ago. These people acted like they dont need to pressure you to buy so you think they have the best price. The fact is their customer service is very poor and they dont honor the own selling price is a big nagative. My friends wanted to have their PWC service there but after the bad experience today, we will all take our business somewhere else. Update: 11/10/2016 I went to Mancuso on sw freeway today and asked for the same 2016 Yamaha vx deluxe model plus the single Triton trailer, guess what? Daniel, the sales manager took $400 off and sold it to me for $10,400 OTD. I took the deal and refered my friend who also got turned down by Wild West motoplex yesterday, after about an hour, we both walked out with 2 Jet skis knowing that we got great deals. Better yet, we were leaving the place with a free chocolate cake. Thanks to Daniel and Cody @ Mancuso.

Dropped my atv (2011 Honda Rincon) off this morning right as they opened because it is having trouble starting and has two bolts lose in the Exhaust Manifold. The whole time I am being helped with my bike I get this condescending tone and the feeling the guy really doesnt want to deal with my bike. First he tells me my bike got to hot (opening dove) which the fan clutch never engaged and I never had my F1 light come on, so I have a hard time believing that. (plus we wash the radiators about once a day to make sure they are free of dust.. we are checking on clients not running the BAJA) When I tried to explain that Im pretty sure I got water in wiring harness the guy doesnt really seem to want to listen, so I let him finish accusing me of doing all sorts of stupid stuff before he finally takes my bike to work on. I work my bike every weekend of waterfowl season and I realize it is going to need maintenance because of that but when I bring it in to the shop I dont want to catch tones and grief for me trying to pay you for your services. I would have taken my bike to Honda West off of 290 because they seem to be much more in tune with there customers and seem to want the business. I will not be taking my bike here again after I get it back.
