Service department is bad. I used to shop there for accessories and gear but their service department is so bad I quit going there entirely. Here are some of their highlights: 1) Service writer tried to tell me I have a hydraulic clutch, while he was standing next to my bike. He could clearly see there was no clutch fluid reservoir on the handle and no hydraulic lines. 2) Bought a tire. They installed it with only 20 lbs. of air in it. Geesh. You have to inflate the tire as part of installation process. Then they tightened my rear brake down so tight that it was dragging and heated up the rim. 3) Bought another tire (after assurances that they would pay attention to detail.) This time it was inflated properly but they had some much slack in the chain that it was smacking the swing arm. I emailed them about this after I got home. Their reply was that chain adjustment was not included in a tire installation. Really? I reminded them that I wasnt asking them to clean and lube the chain, just put it back to the factory adjustment when they reinstalled the wheel. I sent them the page from the Honda service specifically saying that you needed to adjust the chain any time you removed the rear wheel. They still held to their original statement. 4) They scratched the lower swing arm of my bike when installing the last tire. They asked me how I knew… I told them it was because I had to readjust the chain since they had left so much slack in it after the installation. So I could see all the scratches. I have to give them good marks (an additional star) for painting the scratches they made but eventually I decided that if I cant trust them with tires, I dont want to trust them with bigger stuff. Because of this, I started going to another Honda dealership which is 45 minutes away from me. (I live 4 miles away from Honda of Houston.) This other place doesnt have the turn over in their service department that Honda of Houston appears to have.

Great experience! Really felt like part of the family. Salespeople worked together, which you dont see in the car business. They shared their knowledge and experience to help answer my questions. Pricing was very fair, and not over inflated like the other Honda dealer I visited in town. They introduced me to the service and parts departments, who were all very knowledgeable. They never pushed "extras", but were ready to answer all my questions, and guide me to what would enhance my ownership...based on my wants, not what they wanted to push. Then, to top it all off, the finance guy was great! What is usually the worst part of any dealership experience was actually the best for me! Doug was ready with my paperwork, took the time to show me the value in the warranty (instead of trying to shove it down my throat), and still had everything completed in under 15 minutes! I actually had to wait for the bike to be ready. But, they family atmosphere continued, and everyone "talked shop" until the bike was ready...which wasnt a long wait. None of this "we got your money, and now could care less" attitude. Best experience buying a bike. Wont even consider another shop again! Thanks Doug, Rich, Brian, Steve, Hunter and Paul...you guys are tops!!!

Service Department just told me they were TOO BUSY to replace the pinion bearing and seal in my TRX300 ATV. Wow. Not even so much as a "I can do it, but itll be 2 weeks." As much business as I do there, this is a pretty frustrating answer. Rep was more than happy to transfer me to the parts department so I could buy 400.00 worth of specialty Honda tools to do it myself. If youre that busy, hire more techs. Another shout out to poor upper management. Good Job HoH! Never too busy to disappoint. Oh, and if youre buying parts there, youre getting ripped. Go online and pay half has much. In fact, go to Honda Toledo Easts OEM parts finder and order from them. Youll pay almost half what you pay at HoH and they ship fast (considering they dont have much inventory). And DEFINITELY dont buy Dunlop tires there. Go to Houston Powersports (Yamaha) off 1960. MX51s are over 100.00 at HoH. Yamaha of Houston still selling them at 80 bucks. And Cycle Gear will match that.

As a loyal Honda car buyer, I was drawn to Honda brand motorcycles. My experience at HoH was terrific from start to finish. As a first time buyer/rider, Remmie, my salesperson, was very professional and cordial. At HoH, they enjoy the opportunity to welcome new riders. Thats how I met the General Manager, Hal. He and Remmie both explained to me the strong points of getting a bike that fits me both physically and skillfully. My girlfriend said their words really helped ease her concerns for my safety. They did not try to oversell me into something I was not ready for. Overall, my buying experience was very pleasant. I was not haggled, or pressured in any way. I came away feeling like I made a great choice in buying from HoH. They have a great showroom. Very professional and, in my opinion, worthy of the Honda name brand. Please take a moment to visit them if you are looking for a unique sales experience.

on my way from Mississppi to the Grand Canyon I developed a problem with my front tire on my Gold Wing. Called Honda of Houston to see if they could replace the tire and they said they could get to it quickly. I am happy they could replace the tire quickly but the person who installed the tire missed aligning the balancing dot to the valve body by about 6" and then proceeded to put stick on weights on the front rim instead of the weights that affix to the rib on the center of the wheel. He was either ignorant or did not care enough to do the job properly. Lesson learned never use this STEALERSHIP again or do more due diligence on the internet prior to using the closest shop.. The 2012 Gold wing wheels have a lacquer on the wheels to prevent corrosion now this is gone. Upon Return to Ms. I brought the bike to a local shop and they told me the tire was not balanced properly.

Two of my grandsons are heavily into motocross and we have purchased several bikes from Honda of Houston and use thier service department as our team mechanics. There have been countless times that the service team has gone above and beyond to make emergency repairs or get parts for us to get the bikes back on the track in time for a race. The work they have done has always been first rate and they are great at keeping the bikes in top racing condition. Motocross is not a cheap sport, but the HOH team has done thier best to help us cut costs where appropriate and has been excellent at finding cost effective solutions to the problems we create ourselves with the bikes. They have always had a great attitude and when I take something into the shop I always feel like I am visiting with friends. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Last week I purchased a Crf450R from this dealership, and I can honestly say, These guys are great! They have really turned the place around since I was last there about a year ago. Grant (sales), and Hunter (service), really went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with the purchase, and made us feel right at home. Even though the service dept. was busy, they made sure that we were taken care of before the deal was done. Not once did I feel like I was ignored, or that the employees had better things to do. This dealership is very clean, and nice on the inside, and the employees attitudes match! Super-friendly, and professional. I would recommend Honda Of Houston to anyone that is thinking about buying. I cant wait to do business with them again.
