This is a disgrace , My dog goes to pet smart in Rocky Mount NC, we as a family takes my dog a hour to get a bath. We ask for a certain lady to do our dog and the manager for the grooming section put a note in the computer saying that she could only do my dog. I pacificly told her that I wanted another lady to do it and if she wasnt there then she can do it. She took it in her own hands and did what she wanted to do because she has the title that she is a "Manager". We took further notice and aske the store manager . Then we asked for her boss number we called and the man was very rude. Its funny how when we take my dog he shakes like her is scared and he dont want to leave us. Its my money and my dog i should request who i want. Dogs are like family you mess with them u mess with us.

This store is 2 to 3 times higher than petco, petsense and other pet stores. I bought a water fountain in here (it was an emergency). The fountain I got was on sale for 35$ when it is regular prices $20 something and in same places $18 on sale. If 95 wasnt backed up, then I probably would have taken the almost 2 hr drive to petco. The petsafe pagoda is $99 on sale for $89 at PetSmart now when Petco and most other retailers its $60 regularly priced. The fancy feast is on sale here for $.50 when Wal-Mart and most other stores sale it at regular price for $.48. The food is super expensive here, and I get my babies grainfree canned food. I wish Rocky mount did not close petco. The prices were much more reasonable.

My issue is with the live fish. A week prior, I had purchased a large majority of fish for my aquarium, and within the past week five of them have already died. As per the return policy, I brought back the fish with a sample of the water. The staff member who assisted me treated me as if I was a complete moron, and didnt even bother testing the water. I am fully aware of the methods and steps in taking care of an aquarium, as well as have a complete supply of all chemicals and pH test kits. Basically, it is not me, and it is not my aquarium. Another three fish died in addition to the first two. Obviously they need to clean their tanks and clean all of the dead fish out of them so they stop selling sick ones.

Please do not take your dog to get groomed at Petsmart. Ive taken my dog there several times. The past 2 times, I noticed my dog was shaking and did not want to leave me. When I picked my Shih tzu up from grooming this last time, when I got home I checked his ears and they were horribly scabbed over! My dog is incredibly well behaved and trained, so I have no idea how this could have happened. It is horribly red. Ive had consecutive problems with them and given them the benefit of the doubt. They trimmed his nails too short and they bleed and cut his skin on previous visits. They do NOT know what they are doing and no dog should suffer what they made my dog go through.

I took my 2 dogs to be groomed at their facility. Their first trip went very well. The 2nd was a disaster. I do not know exactly what took place but one of my dogs was highly agitated when we left. When we got home, I checked my dog all over. For some reason he would not let me near his ears. He would snap at me everytime I reached for his head. I was finally able to check him and noticed bruising inside both ears. My vet said it looked like someone had twisted his ears. I called them immediately even though I knew no one would own up to what happened. I am keeping my pets away from them and can only recommend pet owners use another facility.

I was treated horrible by the person who claims she is a manager. I went to get fish for my aquarium and the price that they had in the back didnt ring up at the register so when I questioned that she got VERY RUDE with me being all sarcastic and talking as if I were dumb I started to leave the fish there I felt so upset because I wasnt rude to her. Victoria was her name and I assured her I would be contacting Customer service. Never had this problem with anyone else and I take both my pets to the Banfield vet there and the groomer they are always nice and helpful but little miss Victoria was a total different story.

They claimed my dog bit the worker and she showed me teeth marks on her hand, but this is impossible because 1) my dog has never bit anyone in his life. 2) my dog has NO teeth in his mouth. Hes a middle-aged toy puddle that isnt afraid of strangers. He lives a carefree friendly life. He only barks and grawl at other dogs on tv. One day I went outside and he was in the mouth of a pitbull, he didnt even realize he was in danger. Luckily it was a friendly pitbull that let him go when I yelled at him. So i dont believe what they said at pet smart grooming. I would not recommend.

Went there looking for a hermit crab, the price was reasonable and at first I was pleased. The associate told me to simply dig around in the tank to pick on. To my absolute horror the one I pulled out fell from its shell. IT WAS DEAD! But when I told the associate he pulled them all out only to say they were all dead. You think theyd check that. Ew.

Petsmart! Plauged by over priced, and often unsafe toys or food for your small family members. With that being said, this store remains fairly clean; and the staff here is very professional.
