We recently bought a goldfish from here after our last one had died. We got the water tested because fish didnt last more than a month. They told us what we needed to do to fix it. Unfortunately less than 12 hours later our new goldfish (Marvin) was not doing so well. Took Marvin back the next day and got the water tested. Water was heavy with ammonia. I asked if we could keep Marvin there to see if he got any better because we didnt want him to die and they allowed us to keep him there, and offered tips as to how to keep the tank water pure. The guy assisting me with this was Alex. He placed him in an isolated tank and said hed make sure he wasnt sold. He said we should do a return in case he didnt make it. I went up front to process the return and was able to do so with little complication. Breda and Alyssa (if I remember correctly) were the ones to help me. The people here truly care and are willing to do what they can to help you.

We used to love coming to this store, always preferred it over PetSmart because they always took care of the fish. They were always happy, healthy, and active fish. Unfortunately, this has changed and most of the fish are in horrible shape. Many are thin with sunken in eyes, signs of being underfed, bottom sitting, horrible fin rot and ick, with many dead fish stuck to filters in the tanks. Many of the tanks are dirty, and you can tell they are not taken care of. I dont know whose fault this is, but its horrible. Like I said earlier, me and my girlfriend loved this store because they actually took care of the fish. This has also been a steady decline that weve notice getting worse and worse over time. I dont know whos fault this is in the company, but it needs to be changed, and in my opinion is animal abuse.

Well i found it disappointing that theres only 26 reviews for this store compared to the 306 reviews from petsmart soo im here to give my input on this AMAZING pet store. Many selections to choose from with pets and their supplies, the woman who helped me was extremely helpful and kind... extremely quick service unlike petsmart! I got two mice (female) one white the other black and of course i named them salt anf pepper. lol.Its day one but so far so good my only worry is pepper is pretty plump, so im praying shes just on the bigger side and not with micelets (pregnant)...

Great inventory, very helpful! It seems very clean and organized. The employees act like they care. And no the grooming at Pet smart was not $35, it was $56 for my little babe (little!). Plus Pitt Friends is there most Saturdays. They care and have great dedication and compassion for their babes. They arent out for the almighty dollar. They screen who they adopt their animals too. Petco honors price comparison and always has what I need!

This PetCo now has a helpful and friendly staff. Personally, I do not take my dog(s) into Petsmart any longer. Think about it, do you want your dog to follow in a sick pet that is going to Banfield? And I have seen people waiting with their sick pets, still walking them around the store. I believe Banfield needs a separate entrance for their Veterinary Practice. PetCo is amazingly clean and spotless.

Love this store and their staff! I have yet to have a bad experience there. They will give you coupons, tell you about discounts and they price match! The Greenville Petco has the friendliest most helpful staff.

They cancelled my dog training class halfway through. Now they refuse to listen to me to refund me or start a class. The manager cuts me off and I lost over $100 :(. Do not recommend for dog training!!!!!
