I boarded my dog on a Friday. When I picked her up on the following Monday, they told me that she fainted that morning. She was lethargic, breathing heavily and had no appetite or thirst. We called to check on her two days earlier, and they told us that she wasnt eating much. Thats all they told us. The day after we picked her up (Tuesday) we took her to another vet and were told that she somehow developed a deadly auto-immune blood disease. We called Riverside Veterinary Hospital back and they admitted that after administering vaccinations on Friday, she began bleeding from the nose. They never mentioned it before. They never called us to tell us about these issues, and didnt mention anything about the bleeding when we picked up our dog on Monday. She died three days later.

I recently moved to NC. I took my cat in because she has dental disease. They had to pull one tooth. The woman was too busy to speak to me when I dropped the cat off. They kept her under anesthsa for extra time to reach me for clarification, then yelled at me for not being availble to take their call. They pulled 6 teeth, 5 more then they told me. It took an hour to pick her up for some unknown reason. They hadnt even bothered to clean her up. She didnt eat for the next 4 days. I ended up going to NC State Vet School months later to have the remaing roots removed. All I can say is they are terrible. Id never go back. I feel horrible that my cat had to suffer through their incompetence.

I just visited Riverside, first time, was emergency my schnauzer was vomiting and had diarrhea. I thank them for allowing me to bring him in without appointment. My husband and son where with me. The doctor was nice. When we finally were leaving I was paying and my care credit card rejected because I didnt have time to increase the balance before I left the house. My husband heard the staff said something about a customer having a bad attitude and not being able to pay. I said it couldnt be me because all I had todo was make a simple phone call and they got paid. I told my husband no matter what, that was very unprofessional! I know Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

In short, I brought my cat in for a first appointment, and it took several hours to do simple checks and costed more than other vets, and they wouldnt let me drop her off so I was very late for work. They didnt care and still act like theyre the only decent vet around. Whats more, when I gave them another chance by kenneling my then-girlfriends dog so that we could have a *surprise* weekend for our engagement and I *specifically told them* this was the circumstance, they sent her an email, which ruined the whole surprise. I was incredulous. Im never going back to them again. If you need a high quality vet, drive to Raleigh.

Boarded my 2 dogs once... never again. Very crowded with loud, constant barking. At pick-up, 1 was all wet. Staff said they had to hose diarrhea off him. Wonder how long he sat in his own poo & how often they really walk dogs. I had sent twice as much food as needed, yet at pick-up the container was empty. Staff unable to answer why & what food my dogs got. Worse yet, staff said nothing abt the food or diarrhea until confronted. Makes me wonder what else happened.

Excellent veterinary hospital! They provide the best care for my dog and my cats! Whether for routine vaccines or critical care when my cat slipped a disc in his back, the staff has nonstop compassion for their patients. It is so convenient to have veterinary care, boarding, grooming, and doggie daycare all under one roof!

We all love our pets dearly and most vets know that . Sometimes they "veterinarians"should say Im sorry but your pet is so sick that i cant do anything for it. They told me it needs to have a surgery, I knew it was so weak and it wouldnt survive it. Doggie died next morning and I still had to pay 345.$

They do a good job with my pets but are so slow. It always take at least an hour. And they always try to add shots or something to your visit.
