It appears that most of the reviewers on here are buyers and not sellers. I took a 2015 13.3 inch MacBook Air into Royal Pawn today to pawn. If you look on eBay, you will see that this model (used) is selling for $799-$1,000. (A new one is about $1,100.) I took copies of the models I found on eBay for sell to show them. There was a brown haired boy who looked like he was fresh out of high school. He felt the need to be a smart ass from the beginning when he asked me what I was looking to get, I said $700. He laughed and said things under his breath. At that point, another employee who was obviously agitated with the kid and the manner in which he spoke to customers told him to go away and be quiet. From that point, the guy who began helping me offered me $250. I told him that was a rip-off and that they were crooks. The kid then decides to chime back in saying, "Well leave then", laughing and waving at me". Yet again, the other employee had to let him know he was being a moron and to go away. I explained that making a profit was one thing, but to extort and pray on poor peoples need for quick cash was another and that I would not practically GIVE him an incredibly expensive piece of equipment. I have a video of this entire encounter and it was the most unprofessional establishment Ive ever been to. They didnt even offer me 1/4 of the resale price of the Macbook, let alone they have a kid working in there who lacks professionalism, courtesy, and has no people or social skills whatsoever. I took the laptop to Fairfax and received $600. More than half of what I was offered at Royal Pawn.

Ric and his son Alex are some of the nicest people I know, They are not shady, and offer the most money they can, and they treat my mom better than I do. (She gets all of her minor watch repairs sone there). They do not tolerate cursing, so watch your tongue. They speacialize in watches, music equipment, and hi-end, late model electronics. The golden rule with electronics is how old it is, and whether you have a complete unit, in box, with remote and manual. If you bring them a 10 year old reciever with no remote, your lookin at $20.00 bucks, so it pays to be thorough. There is also a tobaccoo store next to them that has marlboros for $28.00 a carton. Most people think of Pawn Shops as desperate , untrustworthy. NOPE! . It is a Family Business that welcomes people. Trustworthy, honest, knowledgeable and helpful are what you can expect from Ric, Alex & Nick. They are willing to negotiate with their customers. Love the paintings/pictures covering the walls. Better prices on Jewelry than you would get in ANY other store. Looking for Antiques? Visit them as well. You will be pleasantly surprised what they have. I am very happy to have found them.

They are all very kind and attentive people. they have, by far, the BEST selection of antique jewelry I have ever seen. I had a jeweler I was loyal to... until I met alex. now they are my jeweler, and I highly recommend them to ANYONE in need of pawn services, AND anyone looking for some fabulous jewelry. they also have a ton of beautiful instruments, electronics, power tools, and home decor. best pawn shop ever!

A very nice staff. Always welcoming. Best pawn shop Ive ever been too. However, I didnt give them 5 stars because if you are selling something at this establishment, they give you below bare minimum cash offers. If youre like me and dont want the hassle of going to other pawn shops and dealing with their "drama", then this is the place to go..be mindful you wont get much for your items.

Wasn’t sure what to expect, especially with negative connotation’s regarding Pawn Shops in general but this store was actually quite good! It’s a family run business, everyone was extremely enjoyable to talk with and quite welcoming. I think if you took an item to sell they would give you a decent price. Down to earth people run and work at this store – sincerely it’s a good place.

I love this place, everytime I go in there everyone is polite and respectful. I usually pawn my golf clubs whenever Im in a pinch and they give me a fair price. They have a lot of guitars and tools as well as art work and jewelry. I would advise checking out Royal Pawn before going anywhere else.
