This is the most piss-poor pawn shop in the area. The manager, the one with the girly grey ponytail, is a liar. He offers less than 12% on the lowest price he can find on Amazon, even if the items he finds online and what you bring him are not the same thing. Every where else will give 30-33% eBay/Amazon pricing. This is the only time I have walked away angry from this kind of transaction. I will NEVER be back to this place again. I had heard that they are dishonest, but this was worse than my expectations. I brought a $100 camera, $60 on eBay and he offered $5. I took it to another shop and got $40. He tried to tell me the camera was 12 years old, despite the fact that the sticker with the serial number clearly said it was less than a year old. He said the serial number was wrong and that the camera was from 2005, even though that camera wasnt available until 2016. When confronted with this evidence, he jumbled his words and all but told me to get out. Never Again.

This is the worst pawnshop I have ever been to. The man with the grey hair acts like you are a loser foro even being in the store, and breaks you down and tries to basically take whatever you are selling for five to ten dollars no matter what it is. I tried to sell a Makita reciprocating saw that somebody gave me that was brand new and not even opened for half of the eBay price, he went off of a damaged used model that was being sold as is for parts and repair on eBay to base the price and then said "we go for about 25% on power tools, I can give you about 7$ for it but I dont even want to take it so I am doing you a favor." What a joke. I took the saw and walked out because he was just trying to scam me. The pawn shop in Annapolis on west street is much better and will actually give you a fair price for what you are selling. These people use intimidation tactics and dirty lies to try to basically just steal your stuff from you. Highly NOT recommended.

This is the worst pawn shop in all of Maryland. I came into the location trying to pawn two UE speakers. One a wonderboom and the other boom 2. A gentleman with glasses and gray straggly ponytail came to assist me. After doing his research he concluded that they were from 2013 and worth about $7 each. Little did he know, I had kept the paperwork that came with the speakers. When faced with proof that he was being dishonest, he quickly ended the conversation. Of all the other pawnshops Ive been to, this is the only one that lied to me about the value of my merchandise. I recommend you stay away from these crooks, as there are SEVERAL reputable pawnbrokers in the area. BE WARNED

I have been dealing with Best Pawn for over 20 years.This store is like a 2nd home to me. spend way too much time there (and a few dollars) Why? Because thats how Scott Cutlip, the Owner, and his staff make you feel, like you are home. And since you are there, take a few toys home at Best Pawn Prices. Cannot get quality goods for less. Need a Loan to tide you over? You can get that and you can bet it will be fair. Sound too good to be true? It is, it is rare to find a business that gives a damn about their customers anymore. You can get that here. They are truly the Best. Tell him Ron sent ya!!

I will give a real review. Went here because they are have Federal Firearms Licence and I bought some gun parts on line (I am a Guard Member). The thing is, only one person has any idea what an FFL is or how to process a sale . And that one person is almost never around and never seems to share any information with the other people. The place in general is poorly administered and not very professional. Dont pay good money for bad FFL service go somewhere else. Three weeks just to mail the paperwork, because of some confusion on the form that no one can access or understand.

I just love going to Best Pawn to see what kind of deals they have on merchandise. Its like being on a treasure hunt when you go in there because you never know what great deal youre going to find. I have always had luck with mainly jewelry and electronics saving a lot of money compared to retail stores. There are also times when I was in a financial jam and brought some items to pawn and they were always very fair with the money they offered me. I will continue to do business in the future here.
