Please read if you are going to Miro for a Verragio ring! This is the first time that I have written a negative review but the situation warrants it. Our initial visit to Miro was pleasant, we had an appointment with Danny the gemologist and he was able to show us their collection of Verragio rings. He was knowledgeable about Verragio which was great because Miro is the premier boutique for Verragio and that is why we wanted to work with them. We purchased our ring that same day with Danny’s help and the interaction was very positive! We took the ring back to Miro to be sized and the manager encouraged us that the Verragio sizer was the best option and that they could solder it on in the store so without much doubt that is what we decided on. They said that it would only take a few days before the ring was ready for pick up, after around a week later we called up Miro to ask how it was coming along and the gal that answered the phone asked “did we call you?” and my fiancé responded “no, I was just calling to see if it was coming along ok” and then the gal replied “then no, it isn’t ready and we are really busy so we will have to call you back”. It was an uncomfortable interaction that we chalked up to a hectic stressful day; working as a sales director myself I am more than understanding about stressful hectic days. The following day we received a call from Miro telling us that the sizer had snapped in half when they were trying to attach it so they had to order another one from Verragio and that it may be a few more days until it was ready, again we were understanding of the scenario and were just looking forward to getting our ring back! The next day we received another call stating that the ring was ready for pick-up, we were both surprised but figured Verragio had overnighted the sizer or that maybe they had found another one in the shop, either way we were excited to pick it up because we were leaving for Cuba the next day and I could swing by and pick it up on the way to the airport. I drove up after work and made it to Miro minutes before closing and they were waiting with ring in hand and I was very excited but could also tell they were ready to close up and head out for the night so I put the ring on, thanked them and dashed out. It wasn’t until I got to the airport that I looked at the ring, which didn’t seem to fit any tighter, that the snapped sizer they said wouldn’t work was what was actually used and that instead of ordering a new one, they decided to try and solder the broken one back together into one piece. During this soldering it appears that they either tried to build their own part or had soldered off the lettering of Verragio on the inner band and then tried to engrave the lettering back on making it look like a really bad knockoff. The ring had also become misshaped and more oblong than circle which explains why the ring was not fitting any tighter but the beautiful white gold it had once been had been tarnished into the color that cheap silver often turns too after you wear it for a bit. We tried to call Miro to try and understand what had happened and the manager informed us that they knew they had soldered the broken piece back together and then according to her, laser engraved the last part of Verragio into the ring and that’s why she discounted the service by $25. We were appalled by the craftsmanship and what they had done to the ring and asked if Verragio would approve of this work and she said absolutely. We were blown away! We contacted Jay Feder who is the other Verragio dealer in Denver, knowing that customers can’t contact Verragio directly and sent them pictures of the damage they had done to the ring. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Miro Jewelers! 1. Great selection and carry top jewelery lines and 2. ABOVE AND BEYOND in customer service!!! The background: My husband bought my engagement ring (a Verragio ring) from a jeweler, Sonny’s Rocks, which went out of business just a couple of months later. The center stone of my ring became very loose, very quickly. I tried reaching out to Verragio through their website, but to no avail. It turns out that Verragio is only authorized to deal with JEWELERS and not the PUBLIC! So I literally received NO RESPONSE! Not even a “sorry we can’t talk to you”, nothing. So I reached out to a Verragio retailer, thankfully this is what lead me to Miro. The jewelers at Miro explained that Verragio would NEVER respond to me and agreed to help (EVEN THOUGH I WOULD BE PAYING THEM NOTHING AND WAS NOT THEIR CUSTOMER!) The first repair (yes I said the first) took a while to get done and a lot of back and forth on Miro’s part. The SECOND repair (YES it became loose again!!!) was several months later, and again Miro was more than willing to help. Except this time, Verragio all of sudden wasn’t sure that my ring was “authentic”, they couldn’t find my serial number in their system and did not want to do anything about this reoccurring problem. I sent my paperwork and reg. card to Miro, which they forwarded on with SEVERAL phone calls trying to get this sorted out. Finally, Verragio acknowledged that my ring is authentic, but then stated that the loose stone was the fault of the jeweler (Sonny’s Rocks), and that it was not covered under Verragio’s warranty because they had to set the center stone for it be valid. Well, then Miro REALLY went to bat for me and argued the obvious, “Well how is she, the customer, supposed to know who set the stone?” There was a lot of back and forth, but eventually Miro was able to get my ring fixed at no cost to me. This literally took weeks. The staff at Miro, and I believe one of the owners, were super diligent and were always super courteous and thorough in giving me statuses. If I could rewind time, I would have had my husband buy my ring through them! One other thing that I didn’t touch on, was my hesitation of going to a Cherry Creek jewelry to begin with. Everyone I’ve dealt with at Miro has been courteous and respectful, no matter if I came in dressed for the gym, or from work. Unlike other Cherry Creek experiences I’ve had. I can tell you all future jewelry purchases by our family will be through Miro. If you’re smart you will too.

I recently purchase my fiancées engagement ring from Miro Jewelers after researching and talking to several different places around Denver and outside of the state. My now fiancée had a very unique style that she likes and I knew I wanted to create a custom design. After reading a little about the store I was encouraged to check them out and from the moment I walked in, I knew I was going to give them my business. I met with JeNae and we made an appointment for the end of the week to look at the stones I would need for the design. She did an awesome job in providing a great selection of stones to chose from. Never pushy, but always helpful she helped me navigate an area that I knew nothing about. The feel of the entire staff was very accommodating and I never felt like I needed to do something I wasnt comfortable with. The care I got did not end there. Fast forward to the week of my engagement and due to the volume of work the stone setter had, it was delayed beyond the date I needed. JeNae and Nadim worked some incredible magic and the setter worked right up until the deadline to ship it in time. All the while, they were so focused on working on figuring out backup plans and keeping me in the loop throughout the whole stressful situation. The day I received the ring, it was clear to me that quality was not spared in the process and the ring turned out beautiful. I could not have been happier with the care and attention I received during this very happy moment in our lives. I cannot wait to go back there when we get our wedding bands and any future jewelry. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
