I purchased a car from here late in May of 2014. It seemed like a pretty good deal a for a 2003 Volvo s80. Mani was my salesperson, and I was assured that the car would be thoroughly inspected. Shortly after I bought the car, some minor things started falling apart - the knob for adjust the side mirrors crumbled. It was still usable, just broken. Same with the knob shift adjuster. It broke, and was kind of hanging on, but still functional - so, fine. After a little while more (a couple of weeks), the maintenance light came on. I took it in to the Volvo dealer (who originally was the listing seller of this car) who performed over $500 of needed maintenance on the car, and gave me a list of issues that would need to be handled in the very near future, to the tune of about $1400 (BOTH FRONT INNER TIE RODS, UPPER ENGINE MOUNT, TIRES, ALIGNMENT, REAR BRAKE PADS). As I did not have that much money at the time, since I had just spent all of my savings on the car, I did not have that maintenance done. By late August, the transmission started slipping and almost immediately flashed a "Urgent transmission service" warning. I took it back to the Volvo dealer, who told me the entire transmission needed to be replaced - at the cost of $6800 - which is far more than the car is worth. I was sold a car that I barely got 3 months use out of. It has been sitting unused, and now dead, since that time and I have been long-term borrowing a car. Im in the same position I was when I came to them, only now with no savings and $5500 poorer. That car was not worth a nearly $2000/month price tag. There is no doubt in my mind that their mechanics knew about these issues. Transmissions dont just fall apart at 83,000 miles. I believe the business knew that they were selling me a lemon. I also know that is a risk that you take when buying a used car, but I still hope for a little decency in the world. As Used Car Superstore has proven, that makes me nothing but a sucker.

Update 8/25/17: Less than a year, oil pan and power steering fluid leaking. Catalytic converter about to give out. Bottom line repairs worth $1,500 are required. Car is becoming unusable very soon. Avoid this place. Avoid this place Update: They sold us a Honda Civic with absolutely no Air Conditioning components at all including compressor. Just found out as the summer started. Completely ripped off. I bought a car and brought it home in the evening. The next morning when I started it, it had the battery light blinking rapidly. I called the store to talk to the sales rep. It was obvious that the nice lady on the phone wont let me talk to anyone except for service dept. I wanted to talk to the rep instead. I left a message to have the rep call me, which he never did. We took the car to the service department which did not fix anything. Now, I have blinking batt. lights, (meaning a defective/poor quality alternator) that I need to get fixed somewhere. The more serious matter is this. Since I paid via check they had me sign some Dept.of Homeland security paper since it is supposed to be a red flag to buy via check/cash. I was asked to include my SSN which I stupidly did. The rep promised me that they wont run a credit check. Well, I found out today that they did run the credit check. I dont know what it is on their part, dishonesty, carelessness etc. but it is not good. Unless they call, I plan to notify BBB.

I was never comfortable going into a dealership to purchase always felt uneasy pressured the process itself was like giving birth but I seen an ad on website for a Toyota RAV4 and decided to go in and take a look well I drove passed the dealership once and then sat in my car for half hour deciding if I wanted to give it a try and when I walked in I was met by Julie Ko and that was a angel that made my day we looked at the Toyota and then we talked s little test drove both and then Julie said I have something else I think you would like well there it was a Honda CR-V silver beautiful inside and out I fell in love this small SUV and Julie she made this car buying process so easy as 123 I was done so quick I was home for dinner I had horrible experience before with dealerships in the past and swore I would never do that again but Julie has.renewed my confidence and I cant tell you how pleasant and easy she was to talk to I also had some light bulb out and she took care of that right away I would go back to see her in a minute if your looking to purchase a car go see Julie Ko

Id award 10 if it were possible. Credit goes to UCSs Mani Lozano. Unlike two other used car dealerships I went to searching for a replacement for my 02 Town & Country, Mani was the only one who followed up with me when the auto I went to look at wasnt The One. At the searchs start, I was just going to get another low-mileage T & C. But the newer ones come with bells and whistles I no longer need or never had. Think an entertainment center for the two tiers of back seats - not one, but two! My grandsons are 17 and 26....and live in Texas now. Its important to get a good feeling for a car and test drive it. And Mani patiently gave me several options over a week and a half - during which I heard nothing from the sales staff at the other two dealerships. He assessed what I really needed from looking at and driving several car and Thanks to his patience and professional savvy I found "The One". While it too had bells and whistles I never had, it wasnt overkill. BUT....if youre in the market for a newer car....hurry up. Mani plans on retiring soon.

I called on a used car for sale from these charlatans, and because of the great distance between me and the dealership (I live in Green Bay, WI), expressed interest in placing a deposit to hold the car while I drove down to test drive it. The woman on the phone (a sweet-voiced liar named Julie) put my mind at ease and promised to hold the car until I got there later in the day. Upon my arrival, I saw the car I wanted parked in front of the dealership with a couple of people giving it the rundown (looking underneath the car, checking out the interior, obviously had taken it for a test-drive), and was told that the salesman that was "expecting me" was out. I managed to talk one of the other weasels into getting me the keys for a test drive, and when I arrived back at the dealership they told me the car was sold because the other couple "got here first". Thanks for lying to me, getting my hopes up, and then wasting 7-8 hours of my life for nothing. Dont expect anything from these snakes and you will still be disappointed.

Looked at a 2005 Honda. I met with salesperson Julie who assured me that the car went through a rigorous inspection by "certified" Honda technicians. She even showed a copy of the inspection stating that everything was fine. All the while being very pushy and aggressive (quite annoying). The vehicle seemed to drive ok, but I did notice shaking and transmission/engine levels were low. I asked if there were any leaks, I was assured there were none. I came back the next day and took the car to a mechanic who assured me that the car was indeed leaking and had a broken cv boot among other things! Estimated $800 in startup repairs. She pretended to act shocked and refused to come down on price, asking $3500. What a rip off! This place is a crapshot, just make sure you have the car checked out beforehand, they will lie and dont let them fast talk you into getting a car. Remember theres NO warranty.
