Just wrapped up the best car buying experience of my life. We knew the folks at Alexandria Hyundai from bringing in our 2007 Sonata (purchased at another dealer) for service and maintenance. We had decided that it was time to look at a new vehicle, and since we are fans of Hyundai, I wanted to see what the folks at Alexandria had to offer. We knew the service manager, Gerald Acevedo, from our service visits for our older car, so I reached out to him and asked if he would direct us to a salesman he trusted when we were ready to buy. Gerald was very happy to do this, telling us to call him when we were ready. Looking online, we found a VERY low mileage 2016 Tucson on their lot, so I called Gerald. He put me on hold while he confirmed that the car was still on the lot, and had no holds on it. He put our name on the car and got us in touch with Steve Brennen in pre-owned sales. Within 24 hours we had secured financing, met Steve, gotten our test drive, and were sitting down with Tim Newton signing off on the paperwork. I honestly dont think the whole process could have been easier, and from prior experience at other car dealers from West Virginia to Florida, I know that we couldnt have found a better group of people to work with. The service and hospitality shown by these folks prove that you CAN have a positive car buying experience without breaking the bank. My wife and I have no hesitation recommending Alexandria Hyundai to anyone looking to buy a new or pre-owned car. Kevin Reilly, the owner of Alexandria Hyundai, has put together a hell of a team, and I feel confident in saying that whenever we are ready to purchase any other vehicles, we wont have to go any further than this dealership.

My husband and I purchased a Santa Fe 3 weeks ago from this dealership and could not be happier about our purchase. We began looking for a very specific vehicle in our hometown here in Florida about two months ago. We were unable to find the vehicle we wanted in all wheel drive and our local dealership was not overly cooperative in helping us locate or bring the vehicle down to us. That is when we started looking online and I found Alexandria Hyundai had the exact vehicle we wanted in stock. My husband called to inquire about the vehicle and spoke with Haris for the first time. He was very knowledgeable and eager to help us. Haris, Joon and the finance team got the paperwork ready literally on the spur of the moment Friday evening in order for us to fly up Saturday morning all the way from Florida. By the time we arrived in Virginia and to the dealership, Haris had the car detailed, filled with gas and programmed all the bells and whistles with the exception of linking our cell phones to the blue tooth. We signed all the papers within an hour and the process honestly could not have been any easier. After we signed everything, Haris spent another hour (at least) programming our phones and teaching us how to use every feature on the car. He really went out of his way to help us, and I cannot tell you how much of an impact that made on us. I can honestly tell you that we left the dealership not only with a brand new car, but also with a brand new lifelong friend. We cant say enough wonderful things about the dealership and more specifically Haris. He made our car buying experience such a positive one that we will definitely return to Haris for any car buying needs in the future.

I recently just purchased a 2013 Hyundai Sonata from Alexandria Hyundai and could not have been more pleased with my experience. Having been looking for a week, I was getting pretty adamant that there were no more car dealers left that were customer service driven. At least until I walked into Alexandria Hyundai. The whole experience from beginning to end was so pleasurable and I contribute that fully to Navid Taheri and the wonderful team he works with. Being in sales myself, I know the importance of working with the customer to satisfy their needs. All week I was confronted with car salesman that were trying to oversell me on a specific vehicle OR sell me something that I didn’t want. This all changed with Navid. As soon as I walked in he had me come sit at his desk so that he could get a clear understanding of what I was looking for and what my budget was. Instantly I knew I was in great hands when I saw the numerous medals and accolades around his desk. He was like the Michal Phelps of car sales! In what had been taking me a week to accomplish was done in an hour and a half. I already knew I was going with the Hyundai Sonata but I had to figure out color and interior. I knew I wanted black with grey leather interior. Unfortunately, they didn’t have that vehicle in stock. Navid took care of it brining in a 2013 Black Hyundai and said that he would personally make sure the leather interior would be installed the next day. They even took care of my rental getting back! If you’re in the market of buying a Hyundai I would strongly encourage you to visit Alexandria Hyundai and ask to speak with Navid. I promise you will not be disappointed!

Update: Wow, just wow. After my original incident, I was contacted by the owner and he personally turned it all around. He took care of all of the problems I had and made me feel like I was his number one customer (by going above and beyond). I honestly was taken back by his generosity and will be going back to Alexandria Hyundai after the way I was treated thanks to him. Well lets see, where do I begin? I went there to get a problem fixed with my heat since wasnt blowing out of the vents. They told me I had to get a new blower motor (which was understandable) and had to also replace my ball joints and fix my door handle (which ive put off for quite some time). I agreed to get the blower motor and ball joints fixed at that time, but since they didnt have the blower motor, I would have to come a few days later (still, no problem). However, at that time, I was quoted a price in which I told the representative "This is the price for the blower motor and ball joints? Taxes, everything included?" and his response was "Yes. Everything included." Get the ball joints fixed (and paid for it and the blower motor part at that time) and then come back a few days later and guess what, surprise! They tacked on an additional 60 bucks on top of the service bill and when I told them I was quoted by the representative right in front of the their guest services station, they told me my representative "was gone." After complaining and mentioning how upset I was, one of the reps told me he would take "$25 off as a courtesy." Safe to say, I got shafted. I had gone to them for years previously but after that, no thank you.

I am beyond thrilled with me recent experience at Alexandria Hyundai. First, I was in search of a new Hyundai. Alexandria Hyundai had the best selection Id seen around the area. When I submitted an online request, I received a personalized e-brochure and follow up from Ken Hong, who was wonderful. I went to test drive a car, and I felt like I was with family there. Ken, my Sales Consultant, went out of his way to meet with me. Then, while with him, both the Manager, Danny Lee, and Owner, Kevin Reilly, came and introduced themselves to me! I cant imagine how busy they must be, and the fact that they took the time to go above and beyond like that truly left an incredibly impression on me! I went home to think about the car - decided I wanted it, and called back the next day. We were able to settle on a great price without haggling, which meant the world to me - Im super uncomfortable doing that, and it meant a lot that they didnt try to take advantage of me, like most dealerships have in the past. They had my car ready for me to take home in no time. Ken even took the time to explain all of the features to me, help me program my phone, learn the navigation and more. I ended up leaving the dealership in 45 minutes, which was phenomenal (the last car I bought took over 2 hours, so I was thrilled!). And again, both Kevin and Danny said hi to me on my second visit, which shows thats they truly enjoy getting to know their customers. Overall, I had a phenomenal experience at Alexandria Hyundai and recommend that you visit there if youre in search of a Hyundai!
