I recently purchased a 2017 Mazda 3 from Thayer Mazda. First of all, I received an incredible 36 month lease with 12,000 miles, zero down and zero due at signing (all paperwork included with transfer of license plates) from Thayer Mazda that no other Mazda dealer in the Detroit area could even come close to matching. They gave me the best deal right off the bat without having to haggle. I told them what features I wanted in the car and they gave me the best deal and they didnt even have the car in stock. But they said they would get it, not to worry. Within hours they found the car in Ohio, I gave a deposit, and within two days they made a trade with the other dealer, drove to Cleveland 200 miles away and brought back the new car with no additional cost to me. I worked with Pam Yurgelaitis (Sales Person) who is not only the nicest car sales person I have ever met, but one of the most knowledgeable. And when she gave me the initial pricing, I could not believe it and ended up contacting Tom Gregory (Sales Manager) to see if there was some kind of mistake. He assured me, there wasnt. In addition, I love my 2017 Mazda 3 Grand Touring. It looks awesome in black. The safety features are great. Love the leather heated seats. And the acceleration is incredible. This is the second Mazda within the past 6 months that Thayer has given us the best pricing on and I have already recommended Thayer Mazda to friends and family. My experience with Pam and Tom was positive and top notch. Ask for Pam Yurgelaitis. Tell her that Rick A. referred you. You wont be disappointed.

I recently started looking for a new car. I went to a bunch of different dealerships (Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, Mazda) and test drove a bunch of cars to figure out what felt right. Ethan Young helped me at Thayer Mazda, and he was a GREAT salesman. At no time did I feel pressured to move faster than I wanted to. He was happy to answer my questions and show me around the car, but really let the car sell itself. He really bent over backwards to help me find the car I wanted and when it came time to talk price, he was very willing to make a fair deal. I cant recommend this dealership enough, and if you drop by, ask for Ethan!

I had stumbled into this dealership by mistake but it didnt turn into regret. I worked with Ethan Young through-out the entire process and it was very efficient and fair. These guys always take great care of me and my CX-5 whenever I come in for Service or installs. Joey is always helpful and explains any issues there are with the vehicle, and what needs immediate attention. Theyve even helped me out when I was in a pinch and I needed to get a wheel off after breaking a Lock nut key. Its always a quick and pleasant experience coming to the dealership for service, and I plan to keep coming to Ralph Thayer for all my future servicing needs. Great Dealership and Great Service!!!

Fired Suburban Mazda and gave business chance to Thayer Mazda. It was a solid first time customer experience. Service Advisor Thad and Jake at Parts Department were professional and thorough in ordering me a new drive belt and water belt for my 2012 Mazda 3. The car was thoughtfully washed upon delivery and my wait time was neglible. No mess, no fuss, no bureaucracitc mess like Suburban dealerships.
