While this goodwill store has a variety of things to choose from and on 50% off days everything is a bargain, their everyday prices are a little expensive for a thrift store. Books are seriously overpriced, espeically anything new and tatty paperbacks go for over $3-4 a piece sometimes. They usually have a nice selection of shoes, but again, some are overpriced. Clothes run an average pricetag, but things from Old Navy run the same price as things from higher end places, so you dont always get a great deal. Their linens are priced well and sometimes you can score some higher thread counts for a steal. They have a very large electronics and furniture section and a lot of times have things like (older) mixers and food processors and sewing machines, although the pricing varies. They sometimes have a nice selection of office equipment, desks and filing cabinets too. The parking lot is a nightmare on 50% off days and the actual door to the store isnt located in the front, but in the back where the parking is. Bottom line is that if youre looking for something dirt cheap, this isnt the Goodwill store for you unless it is 50% off day or the $1 tag day (and those $1 tags are very hard to find unless it is in off-season clothing). I guess the location in Scottsdale gives them liberty to jack the prices by a few more dollars than Goodwill stores located in lower income areas.

If you like Goodwill and youve never been to their Redesign store..your missing out! Big time! Its the best of both worlds! They have half the store, give or take, is filled with items you expect to see at Goodwill and at typical Goodwill prices but the other half is all new and unused furniture, mattresses, living room sets, home decor. The furniture is well made, trendy and unique. The price tag reflects the furnitures quality level (think- you get what you pay for) This location is usually very organized and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. I love the mixture of new and pre-loved items combined creating an interesting eclectic variety to suite all tastes. Before checking out look at the wall behind the cash register, they keep the good stuff back there! Designer bags, belts, high end cameras, name brand shoes etc.

The salespersons especially management are VERY misleading. If you purchase ANYTHING from one of there furniture books PLEASE make SURE they explain EVERYTHING. The sales people tell you that all the merchandise is tax free (they lied). If you go through the financing department (Acima Credit) BE VERY VERY careful. The store dont tell you that Acima charge you DOUBLE is the item is not paid off in 90 day. They dont tell you that ( Acima Credit) charges you tax AND they charge you JUST to make a payment AND they charge you if you pay it off ahead of time. They are a RIPOFF MISLEADING FALSE ADVERTISING place. If you can wait and pay cash for your items you would save yourself a lot of money. Using ( Acima Credit) sucks and the furniture isnt worth the money.

EVER HEARD STORIES LIKE THIS WELL IT HAPPEN TO ME TODAY !!!! Well most of this store is a great but all of a sudden today was a dollar day A item that has been the week color tag did not have a have a color or a even a tag on it. So after waiting for 2 hours for the doors to open to be told this item was not included in the sale. I was not the only person there for this item 2 other were to and everyone of us were stunned. Update after a couple of phone calls downtown this problem was resolved and I able to purchase the at the sale price !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! New people and honest mistake

Ive been here a few times and have always had a great experience with friendly and helpful employees but today some employee (not pointing any fingers but I heard the name Chris thrown around between sighs) decided to take the sold sticker off a desk I had purchased and sold it to someone else. Id definitely recommend this store but if you find something nice youll want to take it home that same day.

This goodwill is almost always very very overpriced, and on electronics is always asking retail, or more in cases i have seen, and on well worn items. It is also a nightmare to get into and the parking lot is not very good, especially on a saturday or sale day, i have actually stopped going to this one, as i find better deals always at the goodwill 1.5 miles directly south, which is a good location.

Pretty nice store. Well organized, clean, and quite a little inventory. They also sell new items - mostly furniture - tax free! A decent selection of patio living room and bedroom furniture. Well stop again when were in the area. Guess there is one near San Tan Village, as well. Forgot to add, parking and entrance is in back of the store. Grab the southernmost entrance off Scottsdale Rd.

I went here today because they were having their 50% off sale and it was awesome! I found lots of things at great prices! Goodwill is the place to find great things. I do recommend going on 50% off days because for some reason Goodwill is starting to up their prices which i find annoying. Today though i did find items that made me a happy customer again!

Way over priced for a goodwill. A product I attempted to purchase was marked as 14.99, but was rung up as 29.98 and they said it was not a goodwill tag and would not honor it. whatever place sold it before was 50% less than goodwill, highway robery and defeating the whole purpose of goodwill. I think this should be reported to weights and measures.

There is great brand new furniture and they also have donated furniture great prices, on the donated furniture every other satorday they have a 50% off sale , its A home decor store with half brandnew items and half donated, they dont carry clothes at all since it is a decor Store they ACTUALLY CLOSE AT 8PM Not 9

This location is a furniture location ... I was not looking for furniture but clothing, but I did browse. The selection is nice condition but DO NOT GO ON 1/2 OFF SATURDAY ... ONLY CERTAIN ITEMS ARE 1/2 OFF. The prices were a little high for it to be goodwill ... Its a hit or miss on what u find.

Truly friendly folks who will gladly take your stuff and they come out to your vehicle immediately!!! Really interesting selection of furnishings most of which looks awfully new and of course lots of cool large framed prints etc plus all of the other stuff -- their terms cant be beat.

although it is very clean and the item rival the original retail prices sometimes even more if they neglect to remove their original stickers the place has some cool stuff just dont expect to save any money cause their greedy greedy greedy someone should fire the pricer dude

Two of the employees were stellar, all the others seemed to hate their jobs and were severely unfriendly and unhelpful. Kudos to the two that helped me Tuesday, it must be draining working amongst perpetual under-achievers when youre so helpful and good at your job.
