Update 11/16/2016: On 11/15/2016 I went back (against my better judgment) to the dealership to use a $100 gift card I received after using loyalty points given to me for buying a motorcycle. I spoke to a salesman about a helmet for my wife. The price displayed on the helmet was marked $79. The salesman got a helmet from the back and took it to the counter. When I got home I realized the helmet had a sticker over the original price tag and I was charged $89 not the displayed $79. I did not pay actual money due to using a gift card, so I dont care enough to go back and get the difference, yet another reason to not go to that dealer. The finance department was grate, they did everything I asked for and were more than wiling to work with me. The sales guy was new and you could tell, but he was very helpful and willing to let me just look and not pressure me. Again, amazing sales department. The service department on the other hand, will not be working on my bike again. When I purchased a new bike, I added a lot of extras, some of them were in stock and some needed to be ordered. I was told by the finance department, that I should wait till Monday (it was Sat.) to have my handle bars put on, due tot he main guy not being there and he did not know about the new guy there that day. I was told I would go home and swap cars then come pickup my bike and drive it stock till Monday or if I wanted to wait til all parts were in that would be OK. I leave and when I return, the new guy"did not get the message" and was pulling my handle bars off, "it should only be a few minutes. 1.5 hours later they tell me they will not be able to do it tonight that I will have to come back Monday and pickup the bike. The service guy then says he will be there tomorrow (when they are closed) and if i want he will let me pick up mu bike then. I thank him for making it right and leave. No issues when picking up my bike. ( I find out later my bars were loose, ya that was a fun thing to discover while riding.) I am contacted about 4 days later and told my exhaust is in, I ask if they can wrap the pipes when I bring it in to have the exhaust (slip on tips) put on. I am quoted $94 for labor if i bring the parts, it will take 45 minutes for everything. I say, thats find and set a time and date. That day comes, when I walk in, I am told they did not seclude enough time for the wrap, that I will have to re seclude. I tell them to just put the exhaust (only getting slip on tips put on) on and leave the heat shields off. 1.5 hours later I ask the finance guy (he was the only one available) what is taking so long, and let him know I was tole 45 minutes for more labor than what is being done. The service guy comes out and tells me, he miss quoted me for the time on the wrap, that it would take 2 hours and thats whey they could not do it today. He then enplanes he never told me it would take 45 minutes for the exhaust, that he was talking about just the wraps. When i told him thats not what was said on the phone, he tells me "we will have to agree to disagree". Then tells me when I set up a time for my 500 mile service, I should be more clear about my time needs and explane that when I call so they can seclude better. I informed him I would not be back. he walked off I did not see him again, I was tole my bike was done and on the side of the building after being there for an hour and 45 minutes. Never go there to have your bike serviced. Shady work and miss representing of time and cost.

Buyer Beware: I just returned home from Lone Star Indian after having one of the worse experiences in a long time. A friend and I rode in around at 3pm on Friday. We were greeted by Thomas Pablo, whom Ive dealt with several times in the past. I asked if he could give me the best deal on 2 Leather Trunk Rack bags. He said he was going into a conference call, but his trusted associate, Alex Reeves, could take good care of us. After browsing the store, I went to the front register where Alex told me the price was "$275 out the door". I asked, "$275 -- tax and all?" He assured me that $275 was the price. This was a great deal. It was about $50 cheaper than I had found them elsewhere. I conversed with my buddy who agreed that this was a good deal. My buddy asked, "$275? That includes tax?" Again, Alex assured us that "$275.08 was the price -- taxes included". We even had Alex show us the bag he was quoting us in the catalog so that there was no misunderstanding on what we wanted. I told Alex that we want to buy two and to ring them up separately. He takes my debit card, and asks me to sign. The total on the sales slip was $375.08". I told him that was not the price. Alex went back to his computer for a few minutes, and told me the order was $375.08. I explained that, just a few minutes earlier he confirmed, multiple times, the total, "out the door" was $275. I didnt care about the 8 pennies. He said he must have made a mistake and asked me if I still wanted it. When I told him no, I then asked him if he can give me $375.08 in cash back, so that my debt card would not have almost $400 pending against it over the weekend. Alex said, "Oh, Ill need to get Thomas for that." Thomas came back from his conference call with his trusted partner, Alex, and said it must have been a misunderstanding, and that he was sorry. I asked him if my card would show $375.08 pending over the weekend, but Thomas said he wasnt sure and that it depended on my bank. He was not willing to refund my money in cash, nor was he willing to honor the agreed upon price we were quoted. I am cross posting this as well as submitting this review to Yelp, Google and anyone else who will listen. I will also be filing a complaint with Indian corporate. Please, folks, dont buy from these folks. Drive over to Denton and visit Big Tex Indian. Youll be treated much better. -- Update (20161008): I can not remove this review, so I need to make an update. Thomas called, and said he wanted to make this right, so he is honoring the price of $275.08 each. He is also going to place the order, and I can pay when I pick them up. Thank you, Thomas, for making this right. I really appreciate it.

I bought my 2015 Classic at Lone Star Indian. My buying experience was great. I explained what I was looking for and they showed me that. They never tried to up sell me on a more expensive model. Since that day, I an always greeted as a friend when I return. They always remember my name. I have bought many accessories there most of which were installed by them. Here is an example of how they go out of their way for their customer. I bought Freedom Performance headers and Rush slip-ons. I later decided to switch the Rush slip-ons for Freedom Performance (FP) fish tail slip-ons. I found out FP sells headers and a full system but do not sell just the fish tail. What? Thats ridicules but true. Thomas (Service Manager) said he would see what he could do. After a few weeks of calling this guy and calling that guy, FP agreed to make me a custom set of slip-one to their headers (pic below). I guess they dont want their fish tails on anyone elses exhaust. Makes sense. This is just one example of how they have supported me. Every time I call them for something, I feel I get special treatment. Lone Star is also home-base for the Dallas chapter of the IMRG. They attend many of the rides and meetings and contribute free stuff (who doesnt like free stuff). Bottom line, if you are looking Indian, go to Lone Star. They only sell Indians unlike other Indian dealers who sell other brands as well. Ken Hudson
