LIAR THIEF GARBAGE!!! Took my 2001 Yamaha Vino in to have them look at it. Said they would call the next week three weeks go by and nothing. Call them and get some blah blah blah excuse why they hadnt looked at it or begun working on it. 5-6 days later I get a call it was ready. Paid the bill went to the scooter and immediately noticed my right mirror was not on the scooter. Asked the hack that works there were it was and he said I didnt drop it off I knew I did and I knew he was lying. After I told him I left both mirrors at the rear of the scooter he opens the seat and there it is. Why wasnt it on the scooter because the hack stripped the threads trying to put it on. Guess the hack didnt realize with that model they screw on counter clock wise. So I had to re-thread the mount and got the mirror back on. Once I was on the road I noticed that when I turned the blinkers on they were not working. Pulled over and no blinkers front or rear no tail or brake lights. Why? Because the hack didnt reconnect the wiring harness. How professional. The scooter did run for about 40 minutes drive time before it it coughed a couple of times and then just stopped running. Friday night around 9:30 pm and Im stranded at WyCliff and Harry Hines in the rain. A friend came and got me and the scooter and got it back home. Took it there today 11/25/2014 explained that it stopped running and the hack said he wasnt doing to work on it and he didnt want my business. I asked for a refund and he said he was not going to give me one. Learn from my mistake and DO NOT TAKE YOUR SCOOTER THERE EVER! They are a trash outfit that do not stand behind their work and look forward to the place being shutdown someday because that kind of garbage is the last thing you want in your neighborhood working on anything. I would not trust them putting together a tricycle much less a scooter.

Id rate this place a solid 3.5 stars, for the following reasons. Pros: They seem like nice, reasonable people who genuinely care about what they are doing. They have a reasonable selection of brands and models available for immediate purchase at their location Cons: Parking really is not pleasant where they are located, but this is the cost of doing business in a busy area. They have posted hours, but it seems like they are open when they are open. I drove across town on Friday to check them out, and they were closed an hour early. I came in Saturday and they were getting ready to close up about 3 hours early. I feel like if you have posted hours you should try to respect them. One of the guys got kind of uppity about me looking around, and said he would rather me leave than just hang around and kick tires. I ended up walking out of the store with the purchase of a new Sym Wolf. However, it shouldnt matter, and I shouldnt have to justify why I am in your store during the middle of your business hours. It seemed like he was just having a bad day, and they quickly apologized, but it still kind of sucked and I was very close to just walking out the door and taking my business somewhere else right then. TLDR; Decent store. Should stay open when they say they will or change their hours. Should avoid snapping at customers. Tire kicking is part of owning a vehicle dealership, it just comes with the territory.

I first visited Blitz in 2012 when I was turning 16. My Mom wanted to get a scooter that we could both share and have some fun getting around the neighborhood on. The selection of scooters isnt overwhelming but has a great variety for everyones taste. There is a bike for just about anyones style. In the end I picked a mint-green moped and was pretty ecstatic, but didnt know too much of what to do after (cut me some slack, I was 16!). Everyone at the store is very, very helpful. Both my Mom and I have called up to the store many times and always gotten more knowledge about scooters and any sort of steps after buying it. On top of being helpful, they are always positive and always sound passionate about what theyre talking about. Both the owner and the employees Ive met are down-to-Earth and not at all intimidating or rude. Every time Ive had to take my bike in for a repair or to get something checked out its been very straight-forward and honest. Anyways, been a customer here for 4 years now and its my personal favorite and recommendation to anybody in the Dallas area when it comes to scooters. Definitely check them out.

So... I have a scooter I purchased from a dealer in Plano that apparently went out of business while my scooter was still under warranty. I called all around Dallas and Richardson and Blitz seems to be the only place that will work on a non-Vespa scooter. So I took my little moped (her name is Bluebell ;-)) in to them... Another reviewer stated, "The mechanic, Trent, is an extremely knowledgable guy who is quick, honest and helps in any way he can. They let me go in the back where he fixes the bikes and he told me the pluses and minuses of my bike and what to expect at certain points of my journey of owning it." This was my experience too. Trent knows his bikes and nothing seems too hard or an inconvenience to him. I have also dealt with Neil a lot. He is also helpful and has always dealt with me in an honest and fair way. I recommend these guys highly. My suggestion is to always call ahead to make sure Trent is working the day you want to take your moped in for any repairs or maintenance.

We bought a scooter from this company for our daughter. She rode it for an hour before the tire went flat, the lights stopped working the handle bars fell off almost causing her to crash and the battery would not hold a charge. We contacted the company owner (Tony) who said no problem, bring it back. Upon bringing it back, he would not replace it nor would he refund our money. To date he has not refunded us our $500 + nor will he repair the scooter. These people are thieves and I would not do business with them ever. We are now having to file a lawsuit against them for our money back on a faulty product. He wrote on our receipt that we picked the scooter up in good working order, wouldnt you expect that a brand new product should be in good working order and that it should work for more than an hour????

Called for assistance on a part that broke on my scooter purchased here. I was asking for assistance on how to find the part, since he said it was no longer made. When I was unable to find the part, I called back to ask if I could order it through them. I was not rude in any way, and during the conversation I was hung up on. Thinking it was probably a mistake (since the conversation was not going in a negative direction at all), I called back. The boy answered and said "Do not call here. Do you not understand what being hung up on means?" I asked if he was serious, when I was hung up on again. Now, no one will answer, and there is no opportunity for me to speak to a manager.
