Ive had my Can Am Maverick serviced there several times now. Taking a side by side to the dealer is a time investment so I am careful to have everything fixed whether its big or small while its in the shop. They usually keep the machine for several weeks and call to say its ready. When I come to pick it up on the way to the ranch for the weekend, inevitably they have forgot to address several of the smaller issues. I find this incredibly frustrating. During my last visit: 1) a piece of plastic on the front bumper got marred. Big black 2-3" long black smear on top of red plastic. I am very picky about my machine, and I would have noticed a 2-3" long black smear before. The service guy goes oh, thats old. Its got dirt on it so its old. No its got dust from sitting in at your shop for 3 weeks. 2) They replaced body panels and reused plastic push pin rivets which were damaged during removal. The point of having the panels replaced was to keep up appearance. Why wouldnt you replace these $1 rivets if they were damaged? 3) I removed my front seat to find missing rivets/fasteners on the engine canopy. They are the only ones that have serviced this machine since new. Hmmm. 4) I pointed out they for the 2nd time they didnt replace a part that I asked them to replace which had vibrated off the roll bar. 5) I pointed out they forgot to replace 2 bolts and cup washers on my skid plate which I asked them to replace. The front of the skid plate was wired to the frame with electrical wire. Kind of obvious if you spent anytime around the machine. Of course, these small parts are not in stock when I pointed out they forgot. So, its friday afternoon and they are obviously more interested in putting up 4 wheelers than helping me. Not expressing any concern about inconveniencing me by not replacing these small items. Not willing to own the mark on my bumper. I decide its pointless to discuss this any further, I need to load up and go to oklahoma as-is. My recommendation to the service department is to improve your quality control. 1) Stock the common parts that vibrate loose from time to time. 2) Do a quick visual inspection of the machine and note obvious missing fasteners - call the owner and say "hey this fastener is missing, do you want us to replace it?" 3) Go over the items that the owner gave you and confirm the work is performed.

I was taken by this staff, went in bought a used atv from and was charged for freight and setup why its used , i was offered adittional warranty and service programs under one price and then come to find out they charged me and additional 2500.00 to what we had agreed on then they told me there was nothing they could do about it wow. So i have been trying to figure out a way to get my money back in the last few months . I will never buy a bike there again and i hate the fact that im stuck having to go there to service my atv since i have the service plan that they ripped me off on. What happened to the world that we cant trust people anymore. So I went and had my can am serviced a few weeks ago with the plan I got stuck with and what a suprise , service was the worst I have ever had they did an oil change did not check any thing else like they were supposed to , didnt even put the clips back on my panels after they removed them to change the oil, thank god the panel did not fall off on the highway when they pulled the bike out the tire was flat so they did not check the tires either. I even specifically asked them to check the sway bar bushings and to call me with a price and that wasnt done either, I dont understand Im trying to give you money here why not do a good job? So needless to say I will absolutely never go back there and thank god the manager refunded the service plan after all this disaster of an experience Ill have to check my loan to make sure I do get my refund. I hope they learn to be honest and provide better service than what was given to me.

My SeaDoo ingested a ski rope and needed repair to the intake grate. I looked at the SeaDoo web page and saw that Freedom was my closest dealer. I took it in on a Thursday and after looking it over was told I should be able to have it back in 10 days. They called me the same day with an estimate and I gave my approval the same day it was taken in. Thats the last time they initiated a call until three weeks later when they said they had the ski out at the lake for a test ride and found the ride plate was damaged and pumping water into the ski. Who gave them the permission to take my ski to a lake? Second of all, how in the world did the ride plate now start leaking? Wasnt when I took it in and the rope didnt do that damage. All along my insurance adjuster would give me status but never heard from Freedom. The communication was non existent. Then I go to pick it up and when I get there I see the seat sitting in the parking lot leaned up against a UTV and it is resting on the front tips of the vinyl. Seat is greasy as heck and the ski is filthy. You should see the pictures! Ugh! They load it on my trailer while I pay. They never offer to show me the ski or go over what repairs have been done. I go out to my trailer and need to add the back tie downs when I see the crack in the transom. Not sure if something was run into it or if it was the unauthorized trip to the lake! They say bring it back and we will TRY to fill it. They dont do fiberglass repair like that! I would never recommend this shop to anyone!!

In regards to Larry Laningham, and Mr. OfArabias posts. Being someone who has been shopping around for practice bikes, I ran across this series of comments and simply couldnt leave this as it was. I have raced motocross for over 15 years, and ridden KTMs for 8 of those years. First of all im not sure what kind of KTM you bought, 4-stroke 2-stroke or of the size. This I can tell you.. If you have a bike with ZERO oil in it, you might be lucky to make it one hour on the bike before the crank basically melts to the piston rod, and thats if youre just muttering around in 2 gear. If youre a rider, and your on the pipe then 5 hours is absolutely ludicrous. My OPINION is that youre trying to get something for nothing. I was actually there a couple of weeks ago looking at a bike they had, and inspected it thoroughly myself. Everyone there was more than forthcoming with me about the condition of the bike and all of the issues that HAD been taken care of. In my time there dealing with the salesmen, and also the manager I saw NOTHING I would consider (Shady). My suggestion to you... Check your oil between motos. Also.. your tires take air.... I will continue to shop, and buy bikes and UTVs from them. And I will spread THAT through the Motocross community!! Merry Christmas
