We looked up places to take our Yamaha Grizzly four wheeler to be repaired, it was not running ..... possibly the stator? There was good reviews about cycle concepts, so I called and spoke to Jeff, the owner. He assured me he could fix it, but he wanted to check out everything so he could get to the root of the problem and not just change the stator. He seemed very fair and he seemed like he knew what he was doing. We took the four wheeler to him on Saturday May 24th, 2014, he was out of town for memorial weekend but said he would be back Monday, and he had someone there to take it in for him. After that first week he never called ONCE to let us know what was going on, as he said he would not do anything to it without telling us how much it would cost first. I started calling him once a week after a month, he kept having excuses of why he had not been able to find out what was wrong yet, he was starting from scratch and checking all the electrical? etc ..... etc ...... then he stopped taking my calls and would not return my calls at all, most of the time you could not leave a message because the mailbox was full. Finally after 2 months He returned my call and said he was still working on it, this was Thursday July 24th, he said he would call me Monday the 28th and give me details of what was wrong with and what he needed to do to fix it, he was short handed and was swamped with work. Monday came and went, so did Tuesday, on Wednesday I started calling him. Of course on answer and mailbox full, this went on for more than a week. Then Monday August 4th I get a call from his "grease monkey" (his words not mine) telling me that Jeff was out of town on vacation and he was told to call me and have me come pick up the four wheeler. I asked him if it was fixed and ready to go (since he was supposed to call with a price before fixing it) and he said "NO it was not running, there is no charge", and no explanation!! We made arrangements to pick it up at noon on Friday August 8th. When we got there the "grease monkey" tried to hand us a bag of nuts and bolts for the four wheeler that was all torn apart?? We said no thanks it was brought in in one piece and we will take it back the same way, all put back together. the guy did not even know where half the things went on it and we had to wait over an hour in 100 degree weather while he figured out how to put it back together. DO NOT EVER USE THIS PLACE ....... HORRIBLE SERVICE. The worst part is the owner did not even have the respect to face us, he left town and had his flunky do it for him. What a DISGRACE and what an AWFUL EXPERIENCE that was.

I have used cycle concepts on and off in Frisco for the last several years when I moved out here. The place has a hometown feeling and they are always trying to help. If jeff doesnt carry it he will let you know if he can get it. Never had a problem he didnt understand or couldnt fix. Got a great deal on a new Arai helmet just this year

Jeff is a great mechanic and very personable. He takes his job very seriously and does good work. He is very knowledgeable about his trade and one of the few tradesmen that is actually "in it" for the trade rather than the money. I recommend this mechanic over any body shop and to anyone in the frisco/north dallas area
