First off let me start by saying the sales people are really great. My wife and I went in to buy a new bed and to start getting ideas for the new house we had bought. The salesman we had answered all questions and helped out greatly. Unfortunately, everything went south from there. The new mattress was ripped. Had to schedule another delivery for that, and could not sleep on the damaged mattress to make sure nothing got on it. We had picked out a nice piece of wall art, but it was back ordered. No big deal on back ordered items, but it just never came in. They called every week to let us know it was not in. We asked them to stop, but they didnt. Finally the automated system calls today and says that the wall art is in. Went to go pick it up, but it is not there. We asked for the one on the sales floor, but are told by the manager that nothing can come off the sales floor because the president of the company is coming by this week and she did not want any holes in her store. We walked around and saw that the wall art was not anywhere to be seen. When asked about that the manager said she had no idea where it could have gone, but that it was against policy to give customers items from the sales floor. My wife decided it best to just take a refund on the furniture than to continue dealing with this circus. I worked in the furniture business for 4 years as the assistant manager for another company. My first concern was customer service. If my store made a mistake I made sure we fixed it and took care of the customer. This American Signature store does not care about customer service. I have 4 more rooms I need to furnish in my new house, but American Signature will not be getting any of my business from this day forward.
I ordered my white leather 7 piece bedroom set with an additional night stand at the kennesaw location with a delivery scheduled from the camp creek location. I received free delivery under the presidents day special scheduled for Saturday 2/25/17. Friday I received a confirmation call and she says did you order a black and a white night stand? I said no the entire set is white. She said well we have the entire order as black. I spoke with a manager and received a 10% discount with a new delivery date of 3/1/17. My husband called me during the delivery and said didnt we order leather? Yeah, well its the wood. So I called and spoke with a manager again who promised an additional 10% discount and a callback the same day with a new delivery date. I called today because I never received a call back and I was told that the wood was reordered again for saturday 3/4/17 and now the correct order will have to be delivered monday 3/6/17. I spoke with corporate and Becca nonchalantly told me that I already have free delivery and 10% comp so in order to receive additional comp and a saturday delivery I would have to speak with the camp creek location. I went in person and left with no additional comp and a monday delivery. Someone will have to take off work AGAIN! No one apologized nor took responsibility for the incompetency or inconvenience. It was a do you want the delivery date or not conversation while the manager was reaching for the exit door. This is the worst furniture buying experience Ive ever had.
My husband and I bought our furniture 3 years ago from this store. We came to American Signature Furniture because they have a lifetime warranty on their furniture. We bought a blended leather sofa and love seat. We bought a fabric protection warranty and leather protection warranty from the store. The furniture protection doesnt cover peeling and cracking. The store doesnt tell you that when you buy it. Bottom line, dont believe their lies. They dont warranty their furniture. After repeated calls to the store, the sales manager, Kim, admitted that they had issues with this set, but were not going to help us. Further every time we called the store, they didnt remember us calling the store. The didnt return our phone calls as they said they would. The store doesnt seem to care when you have an issue. I have bought a lot of furniture, and when you have an issue it is always how the store handles an issue that defines the product and the store. In this case, this store doesnt care when you walk out with the furniture, what kind of issue you have. They are not going to help. And you can bet they will not return your phone calls. BUYER BEWARE - If you buy from them.
Stay away, Purchased two storage beds two desk with hutch. Ordered a specific color since it was all they had in stock, my order has been delayed, back on schedule, delayed again and back on schedule. Now delivery day has arrived and my delivery apt has been missed with out so much as a call. When I called to check on it they say hopefully will arrive in a few hours. Always heard American signature was a good brand but that remains to be seen and Im really regretting the purchase due to all the headachs. Edit delivery was 2 hours late lets see if the "owner" replies to this post... face book reviews are just as bad as the Google one more 1stars than anything. This company you really needs to work on this. Edit 2. Canceled the protection plan as I dont want to deal with this company again. 2 sets of identical bedroom furniture were assembled differently and I had to replace assemble it myself to make them match. All they can do is say sorry even offered to get a repair man out that day, I laughed and said sure see what u can do. She calls me back and says no sorry. I emailed pictures of the two to the email the store provided in hopes they use it for training purposes.
This is a horrible place and I would never go to this place again. I have being contacting American signature people for the last 5 months but they never provided a solution. I purchased furniture worth of 5K last September on labor day deal - 48 months interest free. But I never received 48 months free instead it was 6 months interest free. I have being talking to many people in the store - Sim Baksh (my Sales person), Jason (Previous Manager), Randall Turner (new manager), the people in the back who handle credit cards with Synchrony bank (Lorri) BUT up to this moment they have done nothing. I used to call them every other week and every time their answer is "this time the problem is fixed and next month the change will be reflected on my statement". But that next month never came by. Im utterly disappointed with the place. I visited the shop 3 times as well and they accept their issue and promise to resolve asap. Last time there was a new manager who took the case said he is going to call me back on last week. No surprises - that he never contacted me. At this point Im really fed up with these people.
All i can say is my business with this place is LOST. I bought a full living room set from them about a year ago. Within the first few months of owning the tables, I had to get them replaced because the finish was chipping. Luckily the replacement only took about two weeks but I am having the same problem with the new set and have just accepted they just make junk here. Additionally, for the past 3 MONTHS i have been dealing with a claim on the sofa and loveseat I bought. I opened a claim because of two reasons 1). Water stains the material, WATER! These were supposed to be scotchguarded or whatever they call the proces. 2) The back cushions are already caving in -- something I told the salesman was a problem in my old furniture from RTG and is now being repeated on this new set from AS. After dealing with the warranty company(horrible customer service) they are agreeing to replace the loveseat but NOT the couch even though I am having the exact same problem with BOTH pieces. Their furniture is complete garbage and they have garbage customer service to go with it.
