If you want to be treated poorly, if you want rude service and if you want to be embarrassed by the store manager then you should definitely shop here. My family was kicked out of the store by the manager because my 7 month old daughter was accidentally hit in the face by a hanger and started crying. No, it wasnt for very long, no it wasnt a temper tantrum, it was for just a few seconds. I totally understand that no one likes a crying child but this was absurd. So aside from this being bad manners and horrible business practices they didnt bother to return a call into them, if you take the time to read the other yelp reviews you can see that this seems to be a standard business practice. If I could give you a zero stars I would because your business deserves none. Shop somewhere else, there are plenty of stores in San Rafael that deserve your business but definitely not this one.

I dont usually give 5-star reviews on anything, but in this case, I am. Heres why, Knimble has become my and my daughters favorite for the past year. We peruse, we buy and we sell. Of course, Ive bought a lot more than Ive sold, but with the selection and value, its no wonder. As Ive lost some weight and turned over my entire wardrobe, theres more from Knimble than from anywhere else. And I love that I now have pieces from designers I couldnt justify buying from at full price. So, how could they improve? I wouldnt change a thing.

Great place to sell clothes and get cash right away. Even though you get your stuff at high end stores, they dont always take the best, most expensive clothing. Sometimes they like the cheaper brand--like H & M or Forever 21 over Haut Hippie. But thats fine with me. Ive been successful at selling clothes and finding clothes! It is also a great place to grab a small gift--birthday, house warming, best friend, or Christmas/Holiday gifts.

I really loved shopping here. But in my distraction of a good time with a friend I didnt realize that one of my items that was marked 40% off was charged full price and when the sales lady asked if I wanted a receipt I said no thank you (environment and want going to return anything!). I dont know if it was on purpose, Id like to think not, but the experience left a poor taste in my mouth none the less

Great consignment shop right in the heart of downtown! I cant pass by without stopping in to browse and see the great selection of new and fun items. My last visit, I came home with a new outfit, a squirrel nightlight, novelty socks for a gift, and a new fridge magnet with toast on it!

Strange buying judgment. I brought items to sell them which were comparable to items on their shelf and the strangest items were offered to be bought from me. Only a couple and certainly not the best in my collection.
