My first experience was strange although, I still went back. NOT again. During check out the three ladies were talking about chopping people up. Not sure what they were talking about, or if they kidding but saying that around customers. Isnt pleasant. Today my experience was just awful. The people who work there arent very helpful, stand around and there rules are just silly! I wanted one yard of two pretty fabrics that were just thrown on a table... There were three yards available of each but I had to buy the entire 3 yards, or none at all?. Such a scam! I didnt need 3 full yards for my project, just ONE of each! Other customers were RUDE, and I had to stand and wait when there were four woman working and just standing around talking. this place is a scam and smelly. Get it together... Never again!

The fabric is pretty good for the price, they have everything youll need for a basic clothing project (different types of thread, polyester/cotton/khaki/tulle etc. Fabrics are available, however no velvet. But what would you expect if its a discount fabric store?) I go here often for a lot of my projects and when I come back months later, the fabric i puchased is still in stock! Now for the negative, the employees are rude. I asked over the phone if they had a certain type of fabric I was looking for and they replied with a snark tone of voice. Theyve only been polite to me once, the rest of the time the employees grimace aND get impatient with me when I am simply asking a question. I noticed a lot of the women in the plaza are either rude or just...awkward.

As someone that sews, I always make an attempt to stop here when Im in the area. I love this place! There is a wide range of fabrics at unbeatable prices, even compared to big chain stores that are offering discounts. Even suiting material is very affordable here! The staff is knowledgeable and has been very helpful. On snowy days, check the Facebook to see if theyre closed for the day. I once made the mistake of driving all the way there in the snow and finding it was closed. Fabric stores like this are hard to find.

The prices are clearly wonderful, and 2 of the employees were welcoming and helpful. There was a younger girl with purple hair who was sweet and another woman, middle aged, that came over to help. However there was an older woman, who wore splints on her wrists, who had ZERO personality. She was rude and clearly having a bad Day.... Well, I hope shes not like this all the time. I almost wanted to leave my purchase there. If it wasnt for the other two nice employees I would not be going back.

I love, love, love this place! Where can you get quality fabric, at a great price and the best customer service, the Auburn Fabric Outlet of course! They have a wide variety of fabrics not to mention they are constantly stocking with new variety of fabric. The customer service is amazing, very friendly, helpful and very respectful. Im a quilter and when I walk into this place, I start to dream and create things in my mind. Hands down, its the best fabric store around!

Great price, has everything. Wish they were open later. In the employees defense - there are a lot of dumb people asking dumb questions all day. I would get sarcastic too. I mean all the fabric is $2.99/yard so figure the rest out. If you want a personal home decorator.... hire one!

You cant beat the price of fabric. Every time that Ive been in the store Ive had no issues with the employees. I will say that the price has gone up though, now its $2.99 a yard.

All fabric is $2.99 per yard! Its hit or miss as far as finding what you need, but if youre not particular about the fabric, this is the spot for you.

A huge ever changing selection that is always $2.99 a yard or less. Upholstery fabric galore but they also have a ton of quilting and clothing fabric.
