I always shop at meijers everyday for the last three years, today was the first time they have insulted me for stealing two packs of chicken.....like are you serious, I tried to talk to them saying it was a misunderstanding because my HUSBAND was scanning and I was packing and we have gotten so comfortable with everyone that works there we scan how we usually scan and they took it as we was stealing, and then they wanna say this is due to a previous incident where we brought a cat furniture and the price kept changing on the scanner and said we tried to buy it cheaper.... i stated no we did not and I have the receipt where it SHOWS we brought it full price and not what they stated.... SO BACK TO TODAY! I never felt so embarrassed like I did today for something I did not do... yes I did see where they were coming from but they didnt want to hear my saying on what REALLY happened... and just to shove it in their face... the cop even believed me what I was saying.... many other stuff happened tonight but I just wanted to say how embarrassing this was and how they both could not say anything after it was over because the cop KNEW I was telling the truth.... from someone who comes everyday buying donesnt make sense for me to steal two packs of chicken.... and could not work with me but call me a liar and wanted me to admit something that wasnt true! I was calm and trying to explain myself and all I got was rudeness and disrespect! But I understand they r doing their job but they cant just assume.This goes tot he rude security guy and the accuser night shift manager that clearly did not know what she was talking about....

As I walked to customer service, I was verbally assaulted for being Muslim for a good 3-5 minutes. No employee stepped in. No by standard did anything. I am an American. Born and raised in Michigan! I grew up in Parma. Just because I am a Muslim doesnt make me no longer American. Manager offered a weak apology and did nothing else. I suppose I should contact CAIR...

I always have nice experiences at this store. Everytime I enter, the door greeter is really nice and Im often asked if I need help finding anything. I once was buying cheese and the woman that worked in the diary section showed me a better deal. Everytime I leave the cashiers smile telling me to have a good day. Im a regular at this store.

For a Meijer, it is poorly stocked. I have never seen another Meijer with this problem. Otherwise it is okay. The staff does not respond well to suggestions. There is a common type of cheese that they are almost always out of, but despite requests to stock more, there is no change. That is one example.

I like shopping at Meijer because I know where everythings at they have great sales I love it when they have buy one get one free or buy one get one half off I like the fried chicken rotisserie chicken the macaroni and cheese thats in the heated area I am a big fan of Meijer

Nice old store, but the fast lanes are usually always having problems and the checkouts that have actual cashiers are few and between. The store is pretty dark too. Not sure if its a power saving tactic or not but the lights are very dim to the point where its hard to see.

This is where I shop at for most of my groceries. Sign up for mPerks to get occasional 5% discount on all groceries (along with greater discount on apparel, beauty, etc). Their fruit lasts longer than Walmarts and they have a decent meat selection.

Its a big store, but the check out lanes are ridiculous. Overall they have decent produce, with a huge selection,although the quality is only decent. The prices throughout the store tend to seem fair. They do offer M Perks which can save a ton!

Mild to moderate place to get your food from. They truely have the best selection of produce and any product you are looking for. The beer selection is actually really good for a large store. Quality of produce is unmatched, prices are decent.

Get ready to stand in the checkout line for half an hour while your milk sweats and your frozen items thaw. Plenty of registers just nobody to work them. If Kroger had better selection Id avoid this place like the plague.

Bought organic fruit, vegetables, kombucha, and raw cashiers. Store was clean, especially bottle return area. Self checkout customer service was also helpful with a gift card purchase.

Michigan owned business. They carry more local products than similar chains. Usually have better selection of thing I care about, like produce.
