My family and I have used LensCrafters for years. I purchased 2 pairs approx. 2 mos ago at the Vernon Hills Illinois location. one pair of vision and one pair of sunglasses both with the protection warranty. This evening my wife had an eye exam and was in the process of selecting a pair of vision glasses and sunglasses as well. When asked if the glasses would take 1 hour to our surprise we were told that service is no longer offered. We asked what do you mean? We were told that was discontinued a few weeks ago. We had at that point between the exam and selecting frames spent 2 hours in your store. How could you make such a drastic change without as much as mentioning it to customers. No notice, no signs and certainly no educated staff on customer service. To be told it would take a week to get glasses after having purchased over 8 pairs over the years was quite shocking and disappointing. I was told this was being done in Texas and Chicago areas to start. By the way quite sad to see lab people hugging the store crew on their last day. Yes we witnessed that as well. I asked what about my glasses I purchased 2 mos ago if they are broken or damaged during the warranty period? I was told I would get a new pair in 7 days. Little difficult for someone who need to wear glasses to see ,drive and operate machinery. you have now eliminated your biggest selling point and main reason to shop LensCrafters. Congratulations you have lost my family and I am sure more when they read this. In a time where the customer has more choices than ever and time is of the utmost importance you blew it! hope you enjoy your demise you earned it!!!!!

If fitting your glasses involve handing them to you and telling you to shake your head and if they dont fall off your good to go then this is the place for you. If not travel the extra distance to the Vernon Hills location. I spent good money on frames and the highest lense and I hate them!! Bi focal are off and frames dont fit right!! The initial purchase was rushed didnt take the time to show us options or to use the camera to see how frames would look on us...they can care less!!

I LOVED IT! Went in yesterday to get my sons first glasses and they were amazing! Everyone was kind and made my sons first glasses experience great! Definitely coming back for myself and my familys eye exams and glasses! This team was awesome! I told the Lab Tech Manager I felt like crying for how happy I am, literally had tears leaving the store. =)

I came in with my glasses missing their screw. Marcus was extremely kind and took the time to find a screw that fit, ensured it sat well on my face on was overall incredibly helpful. They didnt have a survey in store so I want him to get the recognition he deserves! Thank you Marcus!

Just stopped at this place and we are very satisfied with the service provided by the girl there... As well as quite big selection of glasses and sunglasses. Definitely worth your time.
