The receptionists were both rude. What did it for me was my last day there. I had come to pick up frames and had called ahead so that I could get a copy of my prescription. Everything had been confirmed but upon arrival, one lady was looking up tickets and the other who was assisting me, treated me as if I were a bother to her. Neither of them greeted me during any of my visits during the year and a half that I was a customer. The only reason I gave this place two stars is the doctors were always kind and respectful. I truly appreciate that. Also when I called in my complaint for the treatment I had received on multiple occasions the representative I spoke with handled the issue immediately. Im not sure if things have changed since then, but based on my experience there I would not recommend. Hopefully the ladies had a wake up call or they were replaced.

I went there over my lunch and found out they were at lunch too or atleast the receptionist was. Its hard enough with a 9-5 job to find places that are open past 5pm as it is. The receptionist was in there with numerous other non-employees, (judging the fact they were sitting in the waiting area with jackets on) laughing it up while I walk to the door to read the hand-written notification "out until 2pm for lunch" - it was 1:20pm at the time. You dont have more than one person working there at a time? Sorry, Im taking my business elsewhere.

I went there for my contact lens prescription and it took more than two weeks to get the trial pair contacts. I have been to other opticians and it never took a such a long time. Actually, the herslof in St. Mary hospital is much better.

Herslof is the worst place to go to for eye care they do not care about the people that they are helping... and do not correct mistakes that they have made! I would not recommend going to any herslof!
