I sincerely wish I had seen and heeded the review from southern diesel. My review is somewhat lengthy and detailed but it is honest and very factual.(please for your sake, if you dont read the whole thing you need to at least see the end which is what broke the deal with this place. I am a man of very strong integrity so I write only the facts here, which I am more than certain would be disputed by this establishment, but I cant caution people enough on this place. To start with just an average Guy who was seeking a decent vehicle. Yes I could have (and did find one local to me) bu the point was we found one that my wife was more than interested in at Woodyard. I did my absolute best to pre-screen any and all defects prior to making the nearly 600 mile trip to see these folks. I will say that over the phone each and everyone I spoke to was very courteous so I did not have any issues there at all. The only exception to this (which if this place had been local to me would have caused me to turn around and say skip it) was when we were about an hour out after driving for nearly 11 hrs we encountered heavy traffic and our GPS was giving us a bit of a run around. I calle dot see if the sale rep could possibly coach us a bit since we were in unfamiliar territory and the approach I receive was a bit gruff being told skip the GPS( again unfamiliar with were we were nearly 600 miles form home). Finally got past all of the bad traffic and made to the Lot. In all fairness again I appreciate the staff remaining there as we were at the very end of their day, however this was not a small purchase for us and a very long trip which included expenses that I honestly would have prefer to forgo. We did an initial look and drive and will body wise the vehicle was not misrepresented in either photos or description but here come the however part that really needs to be heeded. The Vehicle was priced about 3-4k over any top end blue book I could find. Even to the point of being told when I found it a cpl quarts low on oil " We dont change the oil we figure each customer would want to know exactly what fluids are in the vehicle they are buying. Taking into account it was a very clean ride and the pre-screen phone call to determine any defects mechanically or otherwise, it was decided that it would be worth the trip. I made an initial offer via the phone based on the information I was given. We made a 2nd trip back the next day to look over the truck with a fresh set of eyes etc. I then went through it with a fine tooth comb as this was being purchased to carry my wife and daughter which I clearly stated prior to traveling so far and asked for the good bad or indifferent info so I knew exactly what I was up against when I arrived. There were several defects that were specifically asked about but misrepresented (I am very much taking into account the vehicles age) so when I adjusted my offer(which was still 2k over Blue book if it was flawless in all areas) based on what I found. To finish up the response I received from Bill the owner himself absolutely sickened me. He looked at me and said " Have a nice trip home" and then turned and walked away. At the very least after traveling at such a distance and expense he should have at least had the decency to say he was unable to budge any further or counter offer. to be treated so rudely is what prompted such a long review. I would not recommend this place to anyone and strongly advise BUYER BEWARE with regard to this place! Ionly rated one star because I could not rate lower than that.

Im not sure what happened with the other folks experiences but mine was nothing but positive. I have been looking for a truck for some time now and found Woodyard in a Google search. The web site and carfax were very helpful. I visited the business several times and drove several trucks. There were no high pressure tactics used to try and "close the deal". I spoke with Bill and Chuck, both were willing to answer any and all of my questions. When it came time to talk numbers Bill was willing to negotiate and we came to a mutually beneficial price agreement. Several days after the sale I had additional questions, Bill did not have the answer but told me he would find out. Later that day I received an email from Bill giving me a full explanation to my question. I have already recommended Woodyard Auto Sales to several of my friends and my son. Thanks Bill and Chuck!!! I am really enjoying my "new to me" truck!!

Drove hours to see a truck. Service sucked, I was harrrassed and questioned by an older employee as if I had something to prove and he didnt believe me. Some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. Salesman was rude by making multiple phone calls mid conversation while I tried to talk to him in his office and he avoided me as much as possible. I would never buy from this dealer for treatment reasons alone. I almost walked out after talking to them for 5 minutes. Please do not waste your time visiting this dealer, you will regret it.

Ive never met an auto dealer with as high integrity as Woodyard. Not only did Bill sell me a high-quality used diesel truck, but after the fact, he helped me by providing troubleshooting and low-cost service compared to the dealer. I drive over an hour one way to have my truck serviced and it is worth it. If you buy a vehicle anywhere else, youre making a mistake.

All I can say is wow. Short on service over the phone. I was very interested in a truck they have and they wont budge. In fact the price they wanted is 1,500 over book retail. Dont know how they are even in business.
