II only gave this 1 star and it doesnt even deserve it. I first got in contact with Mac on Craigslist. which states that they can help you with an ID and other requirements. first he told me that all I need to bring was $600 then he told me that I needed an extra $300. The lot is a hour away from my house. So of course Im going to call to ask questions if what all i need to bring with me. I asked him why do i need to bring in ore money then what we originally agreed to. He told me that the policy had changed that morning due to a lot of "write offs" which has nothing to do with me or our previous agreement! So he told me yesterday (friday) to come in tomorrow at 9am. As he hung up on me! This morning is Saturday and I called him before I drove an hour out of my way. He told me that Im not qualified and he does not look forward to meeting with me because Ive been calling him too much. how am I wrong for calling him to get correct information. I do not recommend anyone come to this car lot for the simple fact that they will give you the run around before you get the car. So so just imagine what they will do after you get the car. never in my 29 years have I ever had anyone tell me that Im not qualify for something before they see my documents in call for my verification I make over $45,000 a year how am I not qualified? Matt need to find a different field to go into because he was not helpful. and his ads on Craigslist is showing false advertisement because obviously they dont care about helping people get into your car as bad as they say. this is the worst customer service experience that I have experience even before walking into the dealership! I dont recommend anyone coming here. And by the way he treated me makes me wonder majority of the reviews our fake!!

I do not wish this auto dealer even to my worst enemy!!!. Probably the worst dealer in Chicago, Illinois. I bought an Nissan Sentra with 110 000 miles 6 months ago. They took advantage that I didnt have driver license and I was young with no experience on cars. They sold me for 13 000 dollars includes taxes, it was over priced!. They told me a have a warranty of one year, which I have the documents signed by supervisor Gilbert about the one year warranty. That why I pay a lot for this car which has 3 previous owners that nobody mentioned me about it. Gilbert, the supervisor never mentioned me how much I have to pay at the end of 3 years paying this automobile. When I double check the paper, It shows up that at the end of 3 years the total price of the 2008 Nissan Sentra was going to be 18 000 dollars!!!. I was shocked, when I tried to return the car, 3 days after. Gilbert told me I was not unable to give the car back. So basically they ripped me off, now I have problems with the car. When I call them , Gustavo (my car representative) told me that they went to bankruptcy and basically Gilbert lied to me. In fact, they are unable to repair my car, in few words I payed over 3000 dollars for a car that doesnt have warranty. I already contact my lawyers, and this is called FRAUD, I will definitely sue this company for FRAUD, unless I have a an answer from the owner of Auto Value Mart located in Cicero.

I will never refer anyone to this car lot,i previously had a 2005 dodge neon with 115,000 miles that stayed more in the shop then it did on the road, i was wrongfully over and beyond charged for. they charged me 20,0000 for that car 10,000 was the price which after educating myself i later found out it shouldnt even been that much , but charged me 10,000 in addition for financing fees. I did try to give the car back the very next day because I realized i made a mistake however they said I signed the contract and they couldnt take it back because i would still be held accountable. I was fresh out of school didnt have any guidance or knowledge about buying a car, so i kept it and payed every note missing not even 1 payment. after educating my self about cars I reflect back on value auto and honestly they didnt care about me being a honest person, they were opportunist and to them i was an opportunity for them to get over on, and they did. The way they sharked me i wouldnt even refer a worst enemy to them. my experience with Value auto is i will never as long as i live buy from or tell anyone anything good about them. My advice would be do your homework and carefully read everything they tell you to sign even if they do smile in your face.

A month ago I went to this place to get a DEPENDABLE car. I couldnt get one any where else because Im on disability and I was so happy that I was able to get one here until the next morning when my check engine light was on. Since I have had this car there has been so many things wrong with it that I wish I had NEVER gotten the damn thing. Last night I got pulled over by the police because my headlights were out so I just took the car to the shop to get new bulbs and the shop tells me that they dont work because of the wiring is messed up. I never drive at night so I just discovered the problem. Now I cant drive at night! Wtf! I cant believe that they didnt know about ALL the problems that this car has! Why would they sell me something like this knowing that Im disabled and I cant afford to pay for something that I cant use. Plus I live an hour and a half away from them and 2 weeks from now when they can look at it to fix it I have to leave it and wait until its done then beg someone for a ride back there to get the car. Im sitting here crying because I cant believe a business would take advantage of a person thats already struggling to make ends meet. Please think twice before going here.

I barely want to even give it a one star.... I purchased a 2002 chrysler sebring from them last year. strike one the check engine light came on after a few days of driving. strike two I had a car accident that very same year (no fault of my own) the person who crashed into me insurance would not cover the cost of the car stating the wanted more than the car was worth, cut a check for my injuries and left me with a 14,000.00 bill the kelly blue book value is no where near that price!!! I attempted to settle with them see if I could get into another car ... nope so I was stuck with a totaled out car and a bill and no one reached out to me to settle this now my credit score is damaged and damn near impossible for me to get into another vehicle unless I file bankrupt just to get them off!!! ... OH YEA AND THE BATTERY DIED EVERY FEW DAYS ... JUST A PERFECT CAR!
