This dealership is untrustworthy. They had the car that I wanted but it was not the color that I wanted. The salesman told me that he had the same car in a color that I wanted. Based on the price I was quoted I had a feeling that the car he was referring to did not have the options that I was looking for. I asked him 2 times if both cars had the same options. I also asked one time and mentioned a couple of the options that I was looking for and all 3 times he told me yes, both cars have the same options. I went to the dealership to put a deposit down so they could transfer the car. Before I went through all that I wanted something showing the options of the car being transferred. I noticed right away one of them was not on the list. In looking further all of the options that I wanted was not on the car they were trying to sell me. Of course then the manager came out and gave me a price on the car that they had in stock. And, of COURSE it was more money. It was a total waste of my time. I left and started looking for a car again. While looking I discovered that the car that they were trying to sell me that they had in stock was bought from a Hyundai Auction because it was damaged. I sent an email to the salesman to see if he would tell the truth about it. He did respond admitting that the owner had been driving it, it has a few thousand miles on it AND the owner must have scratched it but it has been fixed. It was not just scratched but either way they have the car advertised on line as NEW! I suggested they change the way they sell the car because it is very deceitful. He said he would let "them" know. Beware of the 2016 Genesis coupe! It is NOT new. I would also not recommend going there if they are willing to hide something like this who knows what else they are capable of doing??!! ****THIS IS A RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY TO MY REVIEW**** There was no misunderstanding only deceitfulness from your dealership. You are trying to sell a car as NEW that was bought at a Hyundai action and was DAMAGED not just SCRATCHED. There was no miscommunication it was information that was withheld and misrepresentation. I still see you have the 2016 Black Genesis Coupe, Stock # : 22210, VIN : KMHHU6KJ8GU133023 on your website under the new cars when you know it has a few thousand miles on it and as I stated previously bought at an auction because it was damaged. I do not need a reply from you as I also previously stated I will NEVER go to your car dealer and I will NEVER recommend it to anyone. Do the right thing and put the car under USED and disclose the miles and the damage.

Let me start by saying that my four previous personal car purchases were thru the Audi Exchange of Highland Park. For quite some time Ive had the feeling that they a) have become complacent/arrogant due to Audis success and/or b) take me for granted as a multi-repeat customer. Either way, as they say, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. So since the lease on my Audi was about to expire I decided to shop around. And shop around I did, going to many different dealers and test driving many different cars, including VWs, BMWs and Porsches. But from the very beginning I had my eye on the Hyundai Santa Fe, and one day I was passing by Gregory Hyundai and I thought what the heck, lets pull in and test drive one. I was greeted immediately by Dimitry Fuklev, who was sharp, attentive, and answered all of my questions. I said how about a test drive and the next thing he did was let me pick one out of their inventory and off we went. I was impressed, with both the car and the dealership. Upon return Dimitry suggested something I didnt even know was possible (to trade in my leased vehicle - buyout), which appeared to save me considerable money. I went home and did some research on the vehicle and returned with a list of questions. Dimitry took me to the service manager (a very nice lady) who answered my questions, and the one she didnt have an answer for she got a head mechanic and got my question answered. So we were wrapping up the deal and then Audi Financial was being a pain about the lease buyout by the dealership, so I just bought the car and traded it in. But I changed my mind on the color of the car, which didnt fluster Dimitry, who tracked my new choice down in a day. The time spent with the finance guy was all of 10 minutes, quick and easy. Im an informed, demanding customer and nothing I threw at these guys made them lose patience or get pushy. I can honestly say Ive never had such a pleasant car buying experience, and I have a feeling their service will be equally customer-oriented. If youre shopping for a Hyundai, stop by and ask for Dimitry -- I really cant recommend him, or the rest of the folks I met there, highly enough. 5 out of 5 stars.

[PLEASE SEE MY COMPLETELY FACTUAL REVIEW WITH PHOTO EVIDENCE ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE] Went in for a "Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned (CPO)" vehicle. 1) Sold me a non-certified vehicle. - Pointed this out, but Gregory Hyundai has ignored me completely on working out a solution. Have the inspection sheet that shows the CPO manager did not sign off on. A CPO vehicle has to meet all inspection points, not just some or most of them. 2) Deceptive business practice in discount 3) Deceptive business practice in tacking on additional charges at the end. - When an agreement is signed for price agreed upon + TTL (that price + tax, title & license) a mandatory "etching fee" that was never discussed that I said I would pass on was put in there. 4) Did not give me all of my paperwork. - Specifically the arbitration paperwork that I requested a copy of and was told I have. Contacted Hyundai Corporate -- Hyundai Corporate said each location is an independent location & they could do nothing to help. How convenient. This Gregory Hyundai location is selling non-CPO vehicles & deeming them CPO. Dont you think this is illegal? Contacted BBB -- Multiple month BBB complaint going back & forth with no outcome (for those interested, please see BBB Complaint Case# 94551657) - Wrote the owner of Gregory Hyundai to enter into arbitration between myself & Gregory Hyundai...owner ignored me. - Wrote BBB that I want to enter into binding arbitration...no replies. Gregory Hyundai keeps their "A+" BBB rating which is a hoax. It seems you either have a 5 star or 1 star experience here. I’m sure many people have had great experiences here, unfortunately, I have not. The owner never tried to work out a deal to address my root issues of selling a non-certified CPO vehicle to me. * Deceptive business practices * Selling a "CPO" vehicle when I have the paperwork that shows service requested + the absence of the CPO managers signature [PLEASE SEE MY COMPLETELY FACTUAL REVIEW WITH PHOTO EVIDENCE ON THEIR “GREGORY HYUNDAI” FACEBOOK PAGE] Do yourself a favor, stay away. I know I wish I had.
