If I could give a negative review I would. This place is the Worst Ford dealership in the area! I have brought my last 6 Fords I have owned to Bredemann for Service. I have not purchased a car from them since my father-in-law runs a car dealership in Milwaukee, WI. I was always fairly happy with the service I have done for the most part. They always provided me with a loaner, which I thought, was out of respect that a family member runs a Ford Dealership in Wisconsin. About 2.5 Years ago, I started having issues with the service provided on my vehicles. The first was a battery issue where they said they inspected my Ford Edge, but they allowed the battery to corrode the compartment, and than tried blaming it on me and wanted to charge me almost $2300 to fix it. I bring in my car ON TIME/ON MILEAGE for its service. It took me 3 hours of fighting with Joe Bredemann to get them to admit they didnt do good enough inspections, and than they proceeded to fix my car. Just this past week, I called to schedule a Works service and to check out my front right brake, which they replaced in January of Last year. They said, they will NOT PROVIDE A LOANER TO ME ANY MORE SINCE I DID NOT PURCHASE MY VEHICLE THERE. I didnt have time to wait for 1.5 hours for them to check my car, so I got into an argument with Jim in there service department. Jim than Transferred me to Steve the sales manager, and his excuse was that "this is Joe Bredemanns decision, and we have more important customers that purchased their automobiles from us, so why should they give me a loaner?". I mentioned that I have had service done here for almost 10-years now, to no avail. After arguing and being so mad, I called the Service Manager at Highland Park Ford and he had me bring my car in immediately after explaining the Brake Issue and the customer service issue at Bredemann. They provided me with a loaner at NO COST, WITHOUT ARGUEMENT! It ends up, that Bredemann really screwed up my brake work done in January of 15. They said it was covered under the warranty and fixed it. Also, I was getting close to needing new tires, so I decided to buy the complete set from them since they were so accommodating. They also did the Works oil change service and everything else. In summation, DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM ANY OF THE BREDEMANN DEALERSHIPS ESPECIALLY THE FORD ONE!!! THEY ARE RUDE, UNFEELING, BRUTAL PEOPLE TO WORK WITH. I WILL NEVER EVER GIVE THEM A REFERRAL AND EVEN THOUGH HP FORD IS OUT OF MY WAY GOING TO MY OFFICE, I WOULD RATHER BRING MY CAR TO A GAS STATION FOR SERVICE OVER THEM. DO NOT GO THERE, DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE A VEHICLE THERE!!!

My family and I were in the Chicago area on business. We have a 8 month old Fusion that on the way there started overheating while waiting in line at the toll booths. I really wasnt too concerned except that when this happens on the newer cars, the computer shuts down the power to a idle speed and I didnt want to get stuck in one of the toll lines with a car that will barely move!! We looked up a few dealers in the area to hopefully get one to just look at the car and make sure it was nothing serious and OK to drive back to Michigan. We struck out. Everyone told us that it would take 3 days (from Wednesday) to get any service and the 4th of July holiday was on Tue. We had to return to MI on Fri or Sat at the latest. As a last effort we found Bredemann Ford, saw their 5 star rating and took a chance. Believe me if we could give them 10 Stars we would. Our service manager Ronald Lucero politely listened to our problem and then insisted we stay and at least have a technician look at the car. We waited and it was entirely worth it. They found 2 bad fuses that were causing the cooling fan motor to not activate and thus caused the overheating. They replaced the fuses and we were on our way. On the way home we were thanking Ron and the dealership again and again as we were delayed over 2 hours with stop and go traffic. I truly feel the car would have overheated and stranded us if it were not repaired. An additional bonus was while waiting we met several other customers for some great conversation and they also expressed their loyalty to Bredemann Ford and the great service they have received. All of them had been dealing with Bredemann for many years and they as well as their families have never purchased a vehicle anywhere else!! I have purchased many vehicles in my +64 years and have never had an experience like this. The next time I need a new car I just may take a few days vacation to drive to Bredemann Ford and do business there. You cannot beat the way they treat all of their customers!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife and I had a pleasant hassle-free buying experience with Paul Ipjian at Bredemann Ford in Glenview. We wanted a very specific set of options in our car, and the 2012 production run had already ended by the time we had decided to purchase, so we couldnt simply order a car to be factory built. Paul worked very hard to find the exact car that we were looking for at another dealership and have it transferred from its location in Indiana to Glenview. Paul is a no-pressure type of salesman, and we very much appreciated that, especially since we were not under any time pressure to buy a car. A quick story to illustrate something about Paul that caught my attention. We had come in to the dealership to test drive a Fusion and a Mustang (and to collect our $50 award that Ford had given us at the Chicago Auto Show). Im sure dealers get people showing up all the time to get their $50 who arent really interested in buying a car, but Paul was very helpful and totally patient as we took the Fusion and the Mustang out for our spins. We returned without an appointment about three weeks later and Paul not only remembered us on sight, he also remembered our names and even remembered which cars we had taken for test drives! I was astonished at that level of detail. He is also very knowledgeable about Ford products and financing options. He also knows the automobile industry in general and was helpful in discussing comparisons between the Ford line and other manufacturers products. After we purchased our car, Paul has taken the time to follow up and write to us and telephone to see whether we have any problems or questions about our car, and to invite us in for a free 1,000 mile check-up. I was very pleased with our buying experience and I highly recommend Paul Ipjian and Bredemann Ford in Glenview. Jon D., Glenview, Illinois

We have all had bad experiences buying new and used cars. Unfortunately, I have never had a great car buying adventure until a week ago. Daniel from Bredemann Ford In Glenview provided a fun, honest, easy going experience. Price and financing werent brought up until the closing. We started with 3 car options that I identified were of interest and we then discussed the differences of each, how I would be using the vehicle and general posted costs. He nicely pointed out that costs can be covered later but first we need to match you to the car that best fits you and your needs. That was the first 10 minutes and then it was time for fun. We jumped in my first option which is what I ended up going with with. 2016 Ford Explorer Sport! This SUV met all of my needs and the desire to drive other models was now over. We then sat back down went into details of the car, all the features including the heated steering wheel, USB ports, 110V outlets, auto seats and a plethora of features I had no idea existed on cars today. These are all included in the sport model so I wont mind some homework to learn all about them. Steve from the closing department was a wonderful gentleman as well as Dan that thoroughly went through the closing process and support plans. There was one thing I knew I would have challenges with but that was shortly taken care of as a part of their new buying experience. How do I work the dash stuff and controls on the screen? A wonderful woman walked me out to explained all of the controls throughout the entire vehicle. Now I knew (kinda) what I was doing because its a lot to take in. There are details that I left out but overall this was a great experience and I will be sending friends, family and strangers looking for a new car to Dan and Steve at Bredermann Ford. Thank you so very much!
