I wasnt a fan of the service from sales. The vehicle was dirty when I got there to test drive it (a French fry, ketchup in the carpet, a gross smelling air freshener hiding under the seat). I asked why there was tape on the bottom of the windshield - he said that some places do that....no, they dont. The website said the vehicle has AC, it doesnt. Their response was they just put a generic spec on the website. Theyre willing to pay for it to be recharged. Ultimately, I decided to purchase the vehicle but my experience didnt get much better. They only had one key (which was bent) and they told me to go on the internet and order it myself. I told the gal in financing I have a personalized plate to put on it, she told me I could go in to my local DMV on Monday (I bought the vehicle on a Saturday)....its actually not that simple. I have to wait for the title to be in my name in the system. I called Dokmo and I was told that they dont do their paperwork online, that they mail it in. Ugh...almost 3 weeks since the purchase and Im still frustrated by the situation. Dont get me wrong, I love my vehicle but Im a person that looks at customer service and it wasnt a good experience here.

I did not buy a vehicle at Dokmo Ford Chrysler in Northfield - I did look, but eventually ended up purchasing a vehicle from a private owner dud to the specialized vehicle I was looking for. But, my experience at Dokmo was incredible. I met salesperson Rose Surmeier there. She showed me some vehicles, talked to me about what I needed and helped steer me towards a solution. Not only was she helpful and caring, but she followed up, gave me advice on what I could expect from vehicles, and prepared me for my purchase. I find overall if a dealer can be vulnerable enough to help you find something even if it is not with them, they are to be respected and trusted. I plan on sending my friends and family to Rose, and Dokmo for their vehicle needs in the future. A place where they empower trust-worthy people, and pride themselves on customers first!! Excellent Job Rose! Congrats Dokmo for hiring such a wonderful person! Sincerely, Tony

Dont buy a vehicle from these people. They sold me a used 2008 Chevrolet Uplander and 2 days later all of a sudden Traction Control, ABS and Stability lights came on, so I tired calling the sales agent but left a message about it and she never called back. I ended up calling a week later at which time they told me it was sold as is and they wouldnt have known this was going to happen. I then later took it to a local shop and they told me this is something that would have shown up on their diagnostic because it has been a problem well before they sold it to me based on the condition it was in. Now the engine spits and sputters at stop lights and the passenger read door sometimes reopens out of the blue, which technically has been happening since day one. I believe they scammed me completely and I will never buy a vehicle from them again.

Went to Dokmo to see about a car that would work for our particular situation and budget. 24 hours later we walked out with the keys to a Ford Expedition financed within our price range! Nancy in sales was amazing--she was so friendly, approachable and very empathetic to our situation. Most important, she kept our daughter happy with hot chocolate and important jobs like finding keys to cars we were looking at! Josh in finance worked his magic to finance this purchase and gave us real, honest, practical advice--while keeping us laughing the entire time. Another employee in finance was also very helpful in steering us toward a purchase that made the most sense in our situation (vs. a lease). THANK YOU DOKMO FORD!

Sales people are good to work with, though their Service Department is crooked. Bought a used van from them and the Tire Pressure Monitor System was illuminated. Agreed that they would fix the following week. Wife went there for appointment, it took them more than 5 hours to diagnose and repair the problem. She was told they had to replace the wheel sensors. Since then I have had to put air in 3 of the tires every week. Called to have them fix their mistake and they say they do NOT put bead sealer on remounts because of the cost! But they will fix for $20 dollars per tire. Guy I talked to said he tried to tell the mechanics to use bead sealer but they just dont do it because of cost.

I still cant believe my bill. I was driving through Northfield on business and noticed one of my transmission lines leaking. I stopped into their service department to have it checked out. Informed them it was the transmission cooler line and probably just needed to be tightened. $138 labor charge and $14 shop charge later, they tightened the hose clamp on a transmission line. I dont know how anyone can explain and/or justify those charges for less than 30 minutes of labor and zero shop supplies used or hazardous waste to dispose of. They did not even verify transmission fluid level either which I am actually thankful of so I wouldnt have another $130 labor and $14 shop charge.

Small town feel, phenomenal service. Had a RAM 2500 that was going to shut down due to a DEF system malfunction. We were on the road in a snowstorm and had to turn back. Jeff Belzers, where I bought the vehicle, literally told me, "thats too bad, we are really busy and the soonest we can get you in is a week from now." Dockmo got us in the following morning and I had the error fixed by early that afternoon. They gave us a loaner vehicle too, which Belzers would not do. My new Dodge RAM 2500 has 6,975 miles on it, and the "tech" at Belzers didnt give a crap about the fact that this truck had nearly stranded us. Thank God for Dockmo.

Recently I went through the process of special ordering a new vehicle. It was quite a drawn out process based entirely on my end of the deal. I was very specific in what I wanted. Chris, the salesman was very patient and understanding throughout the entire process and together we worked out a very fair deal. Upon arriving to get the vehicle, the final processing was smooth and quick. Just the way I was hoping. I thoroughly researched over 25 dealers, nationwide in the process of narrowing down to Dokmo Ford Chrysler. I ended up traveling 800 miles to get the deal done and I am Very Happy with the end result. Thanks Guys

Had computer replaced due to vehicle going into limp mode and they said it needed a new one. Cost me over $1200 and three weeks to do it. Truck now dies completely while driving, so they charged me another $375 to tell me they dont know what the problem is. This happens to be the third computer in this 2005 Dodge 1500 4X4 (first was replaced under warranty). Ive replaced spark plugs, throttle position indicator, catalytic converters, and cleaned mass flow air sensor, but the problem persists, and theyll just keep guessing at what it is until I run out of money. These folks are worthless. Dont waste your time or money with them.
